I did not get the 26' truck that I reserved because the customer before me was late returning that truck. I had to settle for a 20' truck which resulted in me taking an extra trip while moving between houses. This extra trip put me over my miles and I was charged for the extra miles. That is entirely unfair.

You used to have a great service! However the last two times I've been there, seems like you guys are shorthanded with you Staff on duty. Yesterday it took a long time to process everything before I finally left there. Which I understand that they had only one manager taken care of two clients at the same time. And he was super nice and helpful however, it was very slow for us to get out of there. And I run a business for me is very valuable.

Usually I do not take the time to do reviews but this is deserving. I would not have been more pleased with our experience at this Grapevine location. Knowledgeable, kind and speedy staff all around. We were waved right into the drop off spot, trailer scanned, un hooked and we were on our way in less than five minutes! Very impressive and really nice guy. The entire rental was a great experience!

the customer service rep at the desk was most definitely not having a good day, she openly made it aware with her attitude, i had pointed to a particular truck i was interested in using and she came back with “don’t point, i don’t know what your talking about, what do you want to do” it was definitely not a comfortable experience, the tech who pulled the truck up was in the phone upon arrival and after pulling it up, she walked out of the truck and again was on the phone, i had to ask “is it ready” and she followed up with just a head nod, and proceeded to walk inside. terrible customer service…

As you turn into the premises from the street, the sign for the return area is not visible - if they just turn the sign 45 degrees clockwise it would make a huge difference.

Your prices are far more expensive than your other competitors and now you increase your rentals. It's sad that if you pay for a month and only use half of the month, you don't prorated the difference.You just keep the whole portion and pocket yourself. This is why I won't encourage other people to use your storage facilities.

The low Tire Pressure Light was on continuously, and the dashboard also displayed the words, "SERVICE TIRE MONITOR SYSTEM". Other than that, the Service and Truck were Perfect!

The two staff that were working all but ignored me and chatted with themselves. When the young lady actually served me, she was rude and indifferent. No greetings or no duties at all and just one word requests. "License". Insert card. Sign there. I wish I had recorded on video but the service was atrocious.

Your app sucks. The only part of this process that was terrible was your mobile app. Everytime I was in the process of finishing the last photo upload it would have me start that process over again. This happened 3 times. Your mobile app is what may keep me from Coming back or at the very least try to return it before you close

The Stringer location was helpful. The original location was not. Overall I would NEVER recommend UHAUL after the experience I have had with this one. I was originally scheduled at another location over 10 miles away at 5:30 am. When I arrived, I arrived to find that someone on the UHAUL end had canceled my reservation. Your screw up cost me 0ver 400$ out of my pocket with people standing around for 1 hour waiting for the back up location to get us a truck. And then, once i received a truck there were no blankets at the backup location. So later on I had people waiting around for another 2 hours waiting for blankets to wrap the furniture. This type of service is not acceptable. So no, I will never use or recommend UHaul.

True customer service is almost nonexistent these days. So when I arranged to have a hitch installed on our new vehicle, I was expecting another trying experience. Wow -- was I surprised and totally blown away! This U-Haul location is staffed with genuinely caring people who believe in fully delivering on the services that they provide. From the first phone call to the completed installation, I was wholeheartedly impressed. When I first called, I was quickly scheduled for an appointment that accommodated their and my schedules. The day before my appointment, I was called and alerted that there was an illness in the staff and asked if I could be rescheduled. Thank goodness because I live 45 min away. I was quickly rescheduled. Then, I received another phone call the day before my appointment - from the installer himself. We talked about my vehicle - as it is new to the market this year - and he shared that he had already installed hitches on these before. Wow! Also, he reviewed his calendar and offered that I could arrive earlier in the morning - before they get busier - for a quicker install. When I arrived, I was greeted with a hello and a smile from everyone I encountered. The job was done in 30 min! ...and here's the kicker, U-Haul did the job for just over 1/3 of the cost that I was quoted by Trails End. Trails End claimed that the bumper would have to be removed which was incorrect... Great experience with U-Haul in Grapevine!

We used the self-checkout option, but our ordered furniture dolly was not on the truck. Luckily the office was open. Without that, we would not have had what we needed. Additionally, the steps that the self-checkout had was to find your truck, which is in one part of the parking lot against the fence, then go to the far side of the building to pick up the keys from the lockbox, and go back to your truck. Those 2 steps should be reversed. Pick up keys first, then go find the truck.

The truck was in poor condition. The steering and handling were horrible and could cause a safety risk. The friend that I was helping rented the same truck several weeks ago and immediately returned it for the issues. She was told the truck would be repaired or removed from service. Somehow, I ended up with the same truck in the same condition.

The staff was not friendly at all Egar made a mistake and gave me a occupied storage unit and than I went back to tell him and I asked how this mistake happened than Kali said it wasn't a mistake so what you call it how is it not a mistake like did Egar meant to give me someone else's unit. And than no one apologized for the inconvenience or anything just very unprofessional and not great customer service skills at all neither one of them. I will never want to work with Egar are Kalil again.

I just could not afford to keep the space any longer. At one point I had 4 units after a large home sale. Then 3 then 2. I have maintained a large unit for 6 years. U-Haul finally priced me out. I noticed many empty units recently. There is a point where people just say no…..not any more…..

very clean and secure. I had my furnishings and other personal items there for over a year. I only went there one time to check on my stuff as I had unexpectedly moved about an hour away from the facility. When I moved out, everything was in great shape, no bugs or other critters. Very nice.

There are two issues I had with this facility We rented for over three years. It is often impossible to have someone pick up the phone. I was later I was told that they were understaffed and therefore no one was available to answer the phone Secondly, the staff are young men with a frequent turnover. And these staff members were not trained or knowledgeable of the system and administrative duties. Very frustrated

The facility was nice but the employees seemed uneducated about the process. They didn't have my reservation although I had an email confirmation. They then gave me a locker that was currently occupied. The instructions weren't clear and I had to keep coming back down from the 3rd floor to try and get things worked out at the front desk. The easiest part of the process was moving my things in, even the heaviest pieces.

I had to in multiple instances redirect the staff who were very distracted with eachother outside of work related focuses to please check me out. This staff was inappropriate in their jokes outloud to eachother infront of customers and were more concerned about eachother than the customers that were needing help. I spent 30 min checking out with them partially due to technical issues in the system that day but the other half of it was because of their lack in the ability to focus on their work at hand and being to busy making jokes and horseplaying in almost a manner of them thinking the customers were enjoying their actions. I had to finally ask them to focus on checking me out and remind them that I was on a timeline to turn in my truck and had just finished a 2 day drive across the country and that I would like to be done with everything sooner than later due to their account of not focusing on their tasks at hand. They were more than enough staffed, but were more focused on their jokes and horseplaying than U-Haul business with its customers. This was the most poor example of U-Haul employees I've experienced, and due to the delays and lack of focus I lost my patience and told them to come get me once they were done with the horseplaying as I had to complete my unloading so I could complete my move. My girlfriend came in the office to complete checking out as I was done with the lack of service I was being provided, and she relayed to me that they were sorry for everything. I'm only giving a below average rating because I feel like the price is ridiculously expensive. I only agreed to pay $185 a month for a SMALL unit because I was in a bind and the location was convenient. There are many storage facilities much lower in price.

I moved out on 6-7-22. The UHaul employee working the units inspected the unit and called it in to the desk as good. Went to office they were busy. They took my information and said they would finish up and close account. Kept getting bills. Chatted with UHaul online. Said Grapevine would take care of it. Still getting bills.

UHAUL Storage unit building is poorly maintained (after-hours swipe in/out security access rarely works, single elevator for entire building periodically inop). Facility is overcrowded with rental trucks that are stacked at storage access loading dock and block access for customers trying to load/unload. Management allows truck rental customers to park their personal vehicles in the lot during the duration of their multi-day truck rental leaving no place to park or maneuver when trying to access storage unit. All these comments are based on multiple complaints to managers over several months without resolutions-I ultimately just moved out.

The manager, I can't remember her name but it started with a M, was very friendly, efficient and understanding. Her staff on the other hand were not. One time even after I set up payment arrangements with the manager I was called and threatened with auction. The guy was a complete jerk and rude! Plus when I was able to come back into town to get my items a lot of my stuff was missing. I didn't realize it was missing until I started unpacking my boxes. They didn't go through individual boxes, they just took 4 of my large boxes with a lot of my decorations and personal effects. Not worth much to anyone but me and my family. I wouldn't recommend this storage facility to anyone unless they want to lose their things. There isn't anyone you can file a complaint with because it is your word against theirs.

Trying to close out this unit was the most awful experience. It took from June 13 to July 5 to get it resolved… I had to call multiple times and each time I never spoke to the specific location; I was forwarded to the customer service center. I was told multiple times the manager would call me from this specific location and she never did. I had to call many times over those 3 weeks so get it closed. I even did the online close out and it says someone will contact you in 48 hours. No one ever did. I then received an email that said our payment was late and there was a fee added on. I called again and the customer service center could not get in contact with the manager… so I was given her email. I voiced my frustration and all I got was a close out receipt of our unit. No apology at all. I am so upset. Customer service is so important and is lacking immensely. We also had a situation of picking up a truck to get our stuff from the storage unit. The truck was supposed to be picked up at five in the morning. My husband went to go pick it up and there were no keys. We were not told that the previous customer did not return the keys in so my husband had to wait eight hours to speak to someone at that location because it was a Sunday, and figure out a Plan B. And we only received a $50 compensation for that… I understand that it's not their fault but we should have been notified ahead of time so that my husband didn't have to waste eight hours.

This was my 5th time using this storage location, and it is very suitable with a fair price. However, lately there have been an increased number of dead insects inside my storage unit. They should probably spray the perimeter better so they don't make it inside my storage unit. The entrance has a "donation" area which turned into a junk storage area, and no one dumps the trashed items. Management routinely parks un-rented U-haul trucks in front of the customer loading dock which blocks access to pick up/drop off heavy items.

Very hard to access my storage to unload a trailer. Overflow of trucks only gave me a small opening to unload ... including a large step up to manage. Also, be consistent across U-HAUL regarding masks. In NORMAN OK, no mention of "wear your mask". In GRAPEVINE, TX, the employees were overbearing and unfriendly regarding the requirement to wear a mask. At the same time employees were telling us to wear a mask, other customers were not wearing masks plus on of the counter employees was wearing her mask under her nose - the entire time we were there.

Rented 3011 for 2 years to store daughter's belongings. Both of us were there 2-3 days before her move on Dec 14 at which I informed UHaul that she would be moving Dec 14, any remaining items would be transferred to smaller unit which she would rent and pay for and I would not be financially responsible after Dec 31 inalienable payment. The guy that noted all this in the computer said 3011 would be closed when my daughter closed unit on Dec 14. My daughter rented Unit 3123 on Dec 14, the day she had movers empty 3011. The same plastic card was given back to her that day even though 3011 has been empty and closed since Dec 14. It was never "closed" from your records until Jan 8th. The mgr, Mark closed 3011 again on Jan 8th and 3123 on Jan 8.

The store off of William Tate os the nest store I have ever used. Equipment is clean and ready to go. On my last day when I was turning in my key, I observed Mark Molina being treated HORRIBLY by a customer when he asked her and her 2 grown children if she had a mask because it said on the front door you need one. I've had multiple storage units with Grapevine over the past 5 years and have had excellent experience. The units are immaculate and secure, I've literally never seen a storage facility as clean and kept up as this one. Marisel and her team in the office have always helped me when I had any questions regarding storage or when it came time for my move and went above and beyond to make that easy as well. If you're looking for a clean and safe place for your items that need to be stored, Grapevine is worth paying just a little bit more for peace of mind.

I was on an automatic pay. 3 times I was locked out of my unit. You would think this would be impossible, but they did it. There was a time we had 8 units with U-Haul in the past. We will never use U-Haul again. The staff was nice and fixed the problem, apologized and then did it again. It wore me out!!!! We moved all of belongings out.

Mike/Mark, the assistant manager, was extremely helpful. The system at the store was down and he did everything he could do to work with me and even took all my information to get me set up and call me back once it was up and running. Great salesman.

The Uhaul service in Grapevine was excellent. After terrible service in Cumming, GA we were reluctant to try another Uhaul, but because of proximity, we thought we could try once more. This one is the exact opposite of the one in Cumming. Friendly, helpful, had lots of staff to help us, we will use again several times in this move as we are also moving other family members near us. Thank you for restoring our faith!

U-Haul is not what you think of in the 70's or 80's. I found my experience to be, from getting my hitch installed in MD, storing my stuff in Grapevine to be outstanding experience. Had I known the experience I was in for, I would not have stressed my self out so much. Your CSR people where nothing but outstanding as well. I even utilized online chat which helped when waiting for a CSR helpful. I had problems with billing. My husband and I signed up for automatic billing. It did not happen and then they would tack on late charges. That happened twice. Then in May they call us and tell us our storage unit had not been closed all the way and my glass table was busted and things were missing. This was temporary storage for us until the military shipped the rest of our things overseas. Also, they do not tell you that if you get your things out early it is not prorated you still pay the full amount. I cancelled my credit card so they could not refill me after all my things were removed. Since, I had so many problems with them billing me. The manager was rude she was supposed to call me back the first week of March and her response was I called you in May. It was to tell me about the unit not being locked not the problems I was having with billing. She was rude to me when I comforted her about it. I would not recthem.

I cleaned my storage area out on the 25th of April; I informed the staff. Subsequently I was charged a late fee and requested for the following month's rent. I did not receive confirmation of my vacate notice until several days and phone calls later. I've been told I'm going to get a refund within the next 2 weeks; we will wait and see.

Bridgette is awesome and super-helpful. The door on 4212 is a bit stiff and could be adjusted to be easier to lift. Elevator was roomy and conveniently located. U-haul Grapevine was a great place to drop-off a vehicle and store my stuff.

Everyone at this location was super friendly but one employee in particular (Bridget) was more than helpful! After a long day of driving a trailer to move some stuff into storage temporarily, she helped make the process as easy as possible. When I realized the original unit I reserved wouldn't be big enough, she kindly and patiently helped me reserve a new one and re-did the check-in process. She went out of her way to make sure the unit I got was easily accessible from the elevator and answered all of my questions. This experience was stress-free and I was really grateful for that!
