I got charged for fuel and I brought it exactly where they told me bring it back on and they charged my debit card. I called and told them and the worker was not helpful at all told me he wasn't there when I got the rental and he couldn't help!!!! I give 0 starts and wouldn't recommend!!!!!!!!

Steve NClean out the cab. There was spilt soda pop all over the dash & passenger seat. The return process was too much. It took approximately 20 minutes for us to take all the pictures, and get the website to load properly. We had to do the whole process more than once. There was also no instruction on where the barcode to scan was located. We had to just walk around and try to find it. Just go back to dropping the key off like you used to do.

Beatriz CThe truck itself was not simple to use. The fixed mirrors and the way you adjust the seat was not easy to navigate. I'm a bit of a shorter driver. The dashboard lights were out on the radio controls -- I was driving at night so it was hard to read the dashboard controls.

The entire place is spotless, including the storage unit buildings. It is secure and well lit. Overall, we had a very positive experience and I can recommend them without hesitation.

Many available trucks of all sizes seemingly available at any time. Newly laid concrete and asphalt delayed my move out but, in the end, wasn't an issue. Now there is brand new pavement with WIDE access.

When I arrived, however, I was told that there was no unit of the proper size available. The manager there, Greg, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, apologizing for the situation and helping me get set up with a unit in Gurnee. The staff and conditions at the Gurnee location were great. Despite having a good experience with the staff at both locations, my rating is heavily influenced by the fact that the reservation I made was not honored. It seems to me that this policy creates a lot of avoidable trouble for the U-Haul staff and customers. I feel that it is irresponsible for U-Haul to continue allowing people to reserve units that are not actually available.

MARTA R | Premières impressionsThey have charge me extra without any reason the staff member did a mistake and I had to pay 50 dollars extra when I tried to reach the manager or another staff member I was on the phone for 45 minutes to an hour and no one helped me and hang up the phone I had a very bad experience and would not recommend very poor management and staffing they don't know what are they doing I have told them couple times to set up a direct deposit and every time they make a mistake and I was the one paying for their mistakes.
