There was a pile of broken mirror glass in my unit upon opening it. I told someone in the office and it was never cleaned. I have pictures.

I'm waiting to see what the claims department say now! If they don't replace my sets i will be taken further action! They need to do something about that rodent issue! It's nasty and no one should have their items ruined while stored away! It kinda makes me don't even want the clothes either! I will never use U-Haul again!

I followed rules and stored no food and this still occurred. I should be refunded half of my money at least due to things that I simply had to throw away like my entire mattress because of turd.

There were mice dropping everyWhere and small roaches ..it was very sad to see...I literally paid to have my property on and crawled all over with all kinds of bacteria and germs 若若 not what I signed up for and I know its not uhal fault but that was my experience...besides the creepy crawlers 5⭐

I thought that was rude and unprofessional! If taking pictures when you check out is a requirement it should be made clearer doing the checkout process. The other thing is that everybody does not have a camera or phone to take pictures, what do you do then?

At first I was not to crazy about location because it was little far from my home. But now using/used U-Haul Moving & Storage Of Gwynn Oak, I'm glad I decided to rent the storage. Place was clean, secure, climate controlled building ( nice and cool inside) quiet, price was right for my budget and clean restroom inside the building. It really made me feel comfortable to leave my things at the U-Haul Moving & Storage Of Gwynn Oak. Also, I had to stop by U-Haul Moving & Storage Of Gwynn Oak office for questions.. staff members working there were very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely going to use U-Haul Moving & Storage Of Gwynn Oak facility again. Thanks

The few months my stuff was in storage there, my stuff was safe, and free of pests. The uhaul facility was clean and well maintained.

Each time I had to stop and go find a sensor to get them back on again. Beyond frustrating. That alone would keep me from recommending the place to anyone. Second the alarm was triggered all the time! I'm in with my key card, they know who I am. What?!?! Third rodent droppings all over my unit when I cleared out. Super not happy about that.

There are rats right Ning throughput the warehouse. I was asked to move my items onto a rat dropping filled room. For this infested facility needs a really bad exterminator. And all of the storage rooms had "Red" nonpayment tags on them. Which is more than half of the space that paying customers could have. And no handicap accessible storage rooms available.

DAVID G | Premières impressionsI wish I had NEVER used this storage facility at all. When I moved out there were rat feces around the perimeter of my ENTIRE storage unit. When I started to unpack all the stuff that had been in storage, there were rat feces in the form of pellets on every surface and in every box. It was absolutely disgusting. Two of my expensive furniture pieces were bitten on the corners even after wrapping it very carefully. I had put these furniture pieces in storage to protect them, but I honestly regret that decision. I should also mention that NO ONE ever told us about the RAT INFESTATION in the unit. Had I known, I would have immediately gotten my stuff out of storage. In addition, the store at the location was closed (locked door) when I went during normal business hours. I called the manager (like it said on the door to do) and she responded with a very rude attitude as if I were inconveniencing her. When I was done moving my stuff out of storage I went into the store and asked the manager to do a walk-through. She asked if it could be done the next day, but I told her I had no intention of coming back. She did not do a walk-through with me, but I assume that she eventually did it herself because I got a move-out receipt. Overall a horrible experience, definitely not worth the $100 per month that I paid.

The staff in the Wood Lawn office were polite, friendly, and helpful The two mover men, Neil and Bobby were patient, polite and hard working. I would recommend highly the facility, clean fun to drive truck, management and all personnel with whom I dealt. My son who helped with scheduling etc. said same.start to finish(

We used towels at first and eventually had to put a tarp over everything. Unfortunately one of our nicer pieces of furniture was damaged by the moisture and has mold in the wood. Overalls however the access was great and staff was very friendly. Would still use this facility in the future but would attach a tarp over the unit immediately.

Not only was this a huge inconvenience being that we drove 6 hours just prior to unloading, but I was still charged for the unit. The gentleman that worked that day was phenomenal and if it wasn't for him, I believe I would have protested about the lack of transparency when reserving something and it being given to someone else. What is the point in reserving if U-haul will simply give it away, even after making the reservation a month prior. Very Very disappointed and I had to go to another storage facility to get another unit in addition. Not at all what I wanted to do or could afford.

Teresa B | Expérience généraleI chase usual because I was moving to another state and needed temporary convenient storage which they provided with the first month free of cost. When I arrived there the storage was inside a building and not outside like they told me. I am 80 and my wife is 76 and we couldn't unload our truck until we found storage ourselves thirty miles away. I think we were deceived by uhaul and overcharged because we rented the truck based on free first month outside storage convenient to our destination. It was a traumatic experience to say the least after putting our trust in uhaul. We purchased all our packing boxes and Equiptment from uhaul and the truck was fairly new and there were no problems with the vehicle.

The only issue I had was with one of UHaul's rules about storage rental, which has nothing to do with the staff or their performance. The rule is the "alternate contact" rule, which states the alternate contact a renter provides must have a different address and phone number than the renter. Not everybody has people they can use as alternate contacts. All in all, fantastic service and I am satisfied and grateful. Merci.

I was told that those were rented but had not come in yet. I want to know why someone who has not come can get a closer unit when I came first. We as customers cannot pick a location so how does that work. I have a heart condition and feel that if the space is empty it should be rented first come first served. Going forward if I rent from you again I will want to see where my space and hope not to see as many customer ready tags as I do on my row but cannot get closer yet they are empty and you have me as a customer not an expected customer
