Worker didn't inform me of the online return policy just told me to park and drop in drop box. I could've been charged for the whole weekend. Wasn't friendly at this location either.

Scott HThe truck I rented- passenger window was partially rolled down and the day I picked up- it was raining, so imagine how soaked the seat was at 2pm after an all day rain. Also during my reservation the transmission started slipping and the check engine light came on. Lastly, the driver side window did not have a handle and the window was rolled down a tad bit- imagine hearing a whistling sound for a 2 hour drive. Overall this was an unpleasant experience.

Louis NI was overcharged for gas. I put the gas back where it was but had to drive an additional 10 miles after gassing up because I was assigned a different drop-off location on paper than the one I selected online. This was stop and start in 5:00 traffic in Hattiesburg. I just don't feel that I should've been penalized for an error made on the staff's behalf. The Uhaul was great, employees even better but the online glitches are inconvenient and unacceptable.
Kiara BThe only issue I had with this rental is that when I was given the rental quote, over the phone, I was not informed about the insurance rate and was surprised at the price difference when I was paying at the desk. Some people are only prepared to pay the amount of a quote provided and get to the desk to pay and not have enough money. That was not acceptable to me at the time but I needed the U-Haul and proceeded with the rental.
LATARSHA PCan't get anyone on phone. Phone forwards to a corporate number. Owner who checked me in just was not very nice. No thank you for your business or anything. I want to tell them the trailer has a leak as my mattress got wet, but phone never gets me to anyone on-site.

katie bSo I've used this location a few times before and it's always a problem when it comes to refunding. There was an argument going on when I got there about a customer being over charged and the worker saying she didn't have a refund and he didn't see it in the computer, however another associate walked in and showed him how to go to it. Now today was my return and I sat there maybe 20 minutes for him to look up my info and ask my last name multiple times for him to say I wasn't in the computer, once he finally found me he said there was no refund which was a lie, I stayed under my miles and turned in 30 minutes before my time; so he had to call the manager and she instructed him on how to get to my refund I say all that to say, it's the worker not the company. Happy new years

DARYL BThe truck was damaged all around. Couldn't even use it because a light was on so was afraid to load it and it break down with all my belongings. So had to use a work truck. The facility didn't seem to care when I returned it.
Michael ROwner of this location seemed like a miserable soul. Won't be doing business with Uhaul anymore. Mileage rate is ridiculous. Penske has larger truck newer trucks and a quarter of the cost for FedEx contractors. Good luck

Huelondria SThe driver side door wouldn't open. I had to climb out the passenger side door each time while we moved my things. Also, the back tires were low and the lights on the dashboard kept beeping on to air the tires. I'm sure all of this was noticed before renting me the truck. I thought they were inspected after every checkin?! Very dissatisfied and the guy that checked me back had to climb in the truck like I did. Nothing was done to adjust my rate or anything for the inconvenience.

Christopher WThe phone was always forwarded and I had no way of touching base with the location themselves to ensure the Ubox would be available at the time of my appointment. I then stood in line at location for over 45 min to complete the move out confirmation. The location needs more staff.

BENJAMIN SStaff was extremely helpful. Thought I just needed a trailer, but they advised me the need for a new ball and wiring connector that matched my vehicle. Only needed trailer for a couple hours , it was hooked up correct and safe. The price was extremely fair. Thanks for all the help!

Issac BI returned the trailer I was told to drop it off at a designated area when I return it. Instead I was told by someone else to back it in at a different location. Wasn't sure it he worked there did not have a uniform on or a name tag. He just watched me unhooked the the trailer and lift it off the receiver with any assistance. No customer service was provided!
Michael MI believe the people who answer the phone call and transfer the calls need to have an updated training . I was almost put in a bad situation due lack of information .I do believe the staff in the switch board needs the training so everyone can be on one accord . The customer are paying for it in the end . Also I think it's unsafe for any employer to be alone in a building after a certain time frame in the day . It's important to not only hear your customers needs but it's important to hear the employee . The employee is what make the company strive .

Vivian H | Expérience généraleThe CSR at the Broadway location in Hattiesburg, MS. was great! However the rest of my experience can be summed up as a NIGHTMARE. I reserved a 26 feet truck and a 10 x 40 x 10 storage unit with great confidence as I received my confirmation emails. But in reality, the truck reservation was changed to a different location, reconfirmed by email with a 7:30 a.m. pick up time even though the store did not open til 10:00 a.m. I had to drive 20 miles further to a location in Moselle, MS and wait for them to open. After loading the truck and going to my storage reservation at 1303 7th St., Hattiesburg, MS., I was informed that my reservation with a confirmed email was completely deleted from the U-Haul computer system. I was stuck with a gas guzzling truck with all of my possessions inside of it and no place to store my belongings. I was told that U-Haul was sorry and there was nothing else they could do. The CSR lady at Broadway became my hero by finding storage space, but I would have to rate my overall experience with U-Haul as a COMPLETE FAILURE!!!
