Maximiliano CThe 26' truck I rented drove horrible on the highway. It drove as though the front left tire needed balancing. It was so bad that drivers side mirror was almost useless because it shook the whole time. Also, the truck was on E when I picked it up but the paperwork said it had 1/4 of a tank. I tried calling twice after I left but wasn't able to get anyone.
Ryan YI rented a cargo van, 2 days before, I arrived at the location, and I didn't have the van I had reserved. It remains to be seen that the values would be the same for everything with the Van, but the value was totally different. They charged me an absurd amount for everything that was done! I'm extremely uncomfortable, because I went to the place and they said the same thing, but when it came to renting, no one said it would be like that!

I have to say the installer (I forgot his name), was so confidant; He took one look under my car and said "you can leave that in the car, I will be finish by the time you sit down." He was so close to being literally finish by the time I sat down. Your other locations in Tampa ought to have him on hand.
Earl MWe purposely made a reservation a few days early so we would be sure to have a trailer for our trip to Wy. We were scheduled to pick it up on Sat 3/30/24. We said we would be in on Sat in early afternoon to pick it up, Orlando stated that would be fine. When we got there we were told there was no trailer for us and wouldn't have one until after 6pm. I stated that was not what I was told and we could not come back later to pick up the trailer. To Orlando's credit he did call his GM and get permission to give us the one they had on the lot. Sadly the trailer was disgusting it was full of dirt, broken tiles, and electric connectors. The first thing we had to do before we could load was wash the trailer out and then wash off our driveway from all the dirt. Then we checked the Ft-lb on the wheels which were loose and then checked the air in the tires and had to add air. It's a good thing my husband is a mechanic and has all the correct tools to make sure the trailer was road worthy. So no we would not recommend this U-Haul office.
Robert cAt the beginning, when I made the reservation # 75069384 for a pickup truck and a 12' x 6' utility trailer with ramp, the website issued a widget in which they stated that the reservation was guaranteed. When I check in to pick up the equipment, I find that they do not have the trailer that was reserved and they suggest another closed trailer that did not have the appropriate specifications for what was required to be transported, then I was forced to take a smaller trailer and without a ramp, which caused many inconveniences. In addition to the above, the staff's attention was not very good, there was no interest in solving the inconveniences that the office caused by not respecting the reservation. It is not the first time that I have made reservations on this site, unfortunately on this occasion I am very disappointed with the attention and lack of respect for the reservations.
Wilson CEverything went great, we were on time, although I didnt find any information about being late with the return, I searched on the papers you gave, on the e-mail, on your website, on google search, didnt find anything, wish there were some information about it, thanks )) 30 more minutes were needed but I left everything so I can return it on time.
Iancu VI ordered a few items online when I booked the truck but when I arrived there were a few items missing and there were two sets of another item which I never ordered. When I arrived for drop off the young man walked up to the truck and said nothing. I mean nothing at all. I was waiting to hear next steps. Should I go inside to give the young lady the keys back or how to turn the truck in but again no greeting no acknowledgment noting was said. So I greeted him and asked what's next how do I close this out he said I'm waiting for you to give me the key. Which why would I give a stranger the keys since he never said anything. Then he said 60 dollars. So I asked if I would get a receipt he said check your email and pulled off. Last time I will visit your store for this type of need as the services are just bad.
Lisbett RThis rental was a nightmare. I scheduled my pick up at a location in Kissimmee. I was then notified that the location didn't have the equipment so it was changed to another location further away. The day of my pick up I got a call saying that the truck had a flat tire and my location would be changed YET AGAIN. I arrived at the new location at 10:50am for an 11:00am reservation. Due to it being busy I was seen at 11:15am. I am then told that they did not have the truck size I had reserved and they only had small ones. This is very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I was forced into reserving two trucks. The worker Anastasia was AMAZING and did truly do her best effort to accommodate me and help me with the situation however if it wasn't for that, I would not have had a truck. My entire move was delayed due to this issue.
NICOLE VWhat's the point of reserving a truck and dolly weeks in advance if the dolly's are not available. We stood in line for so long that they said our truck was not going to be available when we got to the front. Luckily we did get our truck but not having our utility dolly was a complete inconvenience. I would have rather paid for movers if I would have known this would happen. Not worth the price at all.

It showed I did not return to truck with the amount of fuel as when I picked up the truck....fake charges. I went to location to follow up on the error. Fortunately, the truck was still on the lot. The agent, Jay, and I went out to check the fuel, and it was exactly at the level it should have been according to the contract agreement. Either someone was trying to cheat me, or someone doesn't know how to read a gas gauge. I really would like to discuss my overall experience with someone for your problem resolution department.
alfred kThere was many rental vehicles in the parking lot. So, he should have walked us to the rental vehicle instead of pointing to it from the office. He also should have told us where to park when returning vehicle after hours too. Plus there needs to be a clear path for customers to get their own personal car out, because the way the rentals were returned after hours almost blocked the exit.

eduardo pHorrible customer service. Had an issue of a estimate vs final price of a hitch install. Called and spoke to Mr White ( Manager?). He asked me to send over documents to explain issue. Sent over per request. 2 weeks went by and no return call or email. Called again. Mr White said he had called me a few times but never left a message ( my records show no calls). He said that he would refund me the difference and it will take 5 days. 2 weeks went by and no refund. Reached out again via email and a week later, still no word from Mr White. Very good customer service. I'd avoid this U-Haul location. I'd give ZERO STARS but you have to leave at least one to post!

juan nSo now for this equipment. If u was going to use this truck to move things around i am sure u would be okay to do that but the car alignment was completely off when driving out of the location with it steering wheel was a complete 45degree turn going straight. For me As in my profession that is not normal and should be maintenance. Now for the real reason I used this truck is because their was no other option to use to dolly a vehicle. This vehicle was operating but when the dolly was on it signal light will not flash to the right and sometimes will stay stuck on a solid light to put indicator. This equipment needs to be serviced before renting out to customers.
Guillermo SFront office crew was not helpful and very rude. First employee to help out with the equipment was not helpful and did not want to do his job!! The following employee to help out was able to get me going even though the equipment was giving him issues because the first dolly did not operate as designed and no lights worked. This location equipment is very poorly maintenance and is needed in maintaining their rental. Straps are not safe and lights on equipment are not tested correctly before having customer rent out to save time and hassle. I will not rent from this location and will not recommended anyone to this location.

Yet you kept increasing prices as if It was a regular unit with lights. In addition over the recent time I visited unit, it was very hot without temperature control and I paid for temperature control. Plus there was no flat carts available & I had to manually carry things by hand from room to elevator, then to truck.

Oh and if they don't have what you need they'll find it somewhere else . That's good service by far.

I've seen changes in staff and the current staff is not friendly at all other then the women who are grounds keepers. They make security changes and do not let the renters know, like the door access code. You can never find carts put back in place so you have to go searching the building for it. My rent had gone up multiple times in the past three years but the service provided didn't go up with it. Will not recommend this location.

The problem that I ran into was in Tampa where I picked up the truck, I was first supposed to pick the truck up at your causeway store they called me the day before to tell me they didn't have a truck for me but that they did have one at the gibsonton store about 10 miles away which wasn't a problem, the problem was I had also requested two dollies and furniture wraps and was told over the phone that they would have those items for me at the gibsonton store which they didn't and I know it wasn't his fault cause I know his store is more like a partner store. So I had to load the truck the old fashioned way which took longer than if I had the two dollies.

Most would just let it get sold and be done with it. I even called the manager to make a payment and he was very kind.

I knew that I was moving out soon I give up because I relise that Gary wasn't going to keep his promises. I will not recommend this facility to anyone at all, all the staff there need more training. I had another unit on Narcrossee where the staff there were more friendly and more knowledgeable., they made my move so easy on Thursday, where they make sure the truck was available the next day for me. Even though when i walk in that Wednesday afternoon, the staff did understand my frustration with they knowledge, i walk out with the biggest smile on my face. Uhaul needs staff like them . The Narcrossee staff are more friendly there. If I had to do another rental again from Uhaul, I would go over that facility instead.

I drove from Miami to this location only to not have a unit available but worst of all they said I did have a unit unpacked my stuff and the unit they said was available wasn't available. I went to pubic storage they had a unit Available and was east and simple also after hours with their reservations process you actually get a reserved unit.

Then I had to call for the drop off site they never gave me a storage, I had to call to call again to schedule a storage. I mentioned I had a 20 foot truck they gave me a 10x10 my truck was packed from front to back, my things did not fit in the storage. I had to look for another storage elsewhere and pay $215 because of Uhaul worker's not having knowledge about size of the unit. It's obvious that a 20 ft full truck was not going to fit in a 10 x10 so I had to pay money I was not counting on spending. I called to mentioned I need one more day with the truck they told me it would be $40, ok . The next day they called me rushing that I had to return the truck or I would be penalized and charged $50 more besides the $40. We returned the car trailer the same day 3/29/22 to the Uhaul and I was charged for it like if I turned it in on the 3/31/22. So again I was charged 85$ extra. I am so disappointed with uhaul.

I've had to clear out items with the alarm blasting, After hours parking is horrible. There are trucks blocking both the entrance and exit. There is a male staff member who thinks he's in charge of everything. He told me to love my car since there was a uhaul truck coming in. I ignored him and proceeded to unload my car

They provide multiple carts that are very helpful in moving your items into storage. They are also very efficient at getting you your truck and also when you return your truck it's very quick and easy.

Challenges: The facility doesn't answer the phone, it always rolls to a corporate reservations center so if a person needs to actually speak to someone on site, no change. The elevator (the only one in the building of 3 floors) was broken for over 3 weeks. I'd have to drive over since the phone wasn't answered (see above) to check to see if I could access my belongings. When I did leave messages with the central reservations team to have a call back from the facility only once did Jorge, the manager do so. The other messages were not returned. Ultimately, I decided to move to a competitor who had easier access (2 elevators) and who would answer the phone on property during business hours. They also offered slightly lower rates.

Then we rented a truck, rented a storage unit and rented another container to move again. Jorge, the manager, took good care of us and the owner even helped. She keeps the facility spotless. They were great to work with and I would use them again if in Orlando and highly recommend them to everyone.

Many businesses inform their customers when a transaction fails, before asking fees. In the current climate of credit card theft, many of us have our cards compromised and then cancelled. It's very difficult to recall all the locations using that cancelled card.

I literally went 0,5 miles down the road and saved $40 per month!!!!! when I came back to empty my unit not even 30 mins later they had a guy going to "dispose of the contents of my unit" AWFUL and I will spend every second i have free to ensure no one local uses your terrible location and service ever again.
