Pickup at the site was fast and simple, I have been at this site renting before over the last several years. The equipment was well maintained, and did what I wanted it to. Returning the equipment was a little challenging. It took me an hour to return the truck. I was in contact with Uhaul National, had to request a link to return the truck, could not go back and forth between getting a onetime code to use on my phone, and I was hung up on by one of the customer service reps. This is the first time I have had difficulty returning after hours.

Fulfill your obligations. I arranged for a 7am pickup; someone forgot to put the key in the lockbox, so we had to wait until the staff showed up almost two hours later. The manager was quite nice, helpful, and apologetic; however the other worker was surly, dropping our moving blankets on the ground and walking away when he realized the truck would have to be moved forward to open the door to put them in. As for the truck, the steering was dangerously loose. It was difficult to hold a lane, because it would wander, and the first few degrees of input into the steering wheel had no effect. I had a scary moment or two alongside semi trucks on curves on the NYS Thruway. All in all, the experience was far from satisfactory.

And When I get your receipt on my phone, I can't read the letters because the document isn't extended which means the letters is too small . Only using laptop, I can read it. That is inconvenient factor on your process.

Greg BaldingerI had a really upsetting experience with this uhaul. I did the 24 hour check in with my phone and when I got in the car it was honestly disgusting. And I am not really one to complain about this stuff but it was atrocious. The van was sticky on the steering wheel and floors... and it smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes with the windows. up and sweat while spilling stuff everywhere. It was so overpowering I became physically ill the second we arrived at our destination bc it was so cold out and I hat to put the windows up every once in a while and smell this. And I used to smoke I don't usually mind it at all!! But this was gross.. And then I had to put my pretty new velvet couch in the back bc it had to be picked up tonight. The back was very wet and smelly.i probably would have just not gone if that weren't the case even though not going would be an inconvenience. It was that bag. I got home and my dog couldn't stop sniffing me...i smell like garbage and so does my new sofa.

I also requested multiple times that the door to the unit be fixed because it could not stay open without being propped open. It was never repaired.

The pretty young woman there was very friendly and helpful, I had rented a uhaul cargo van the day before as well as a 10x10 storage unit. I was there Sun to move my belonging into the unit. When I was done, I had stopped at the main office to get something from my personal vehicle the was parked there while I was renting the cargo van. I pulled into a parking space to stay out of the way of other things that were going on our would be going on. The male employee came up to my window very rudely and with an attitude and told me returns were over there. He never greeted me or acknowledged me. Or asked me anything at all. I told him I was not there to return anything, that my personal vehicle was there and I was retrieving something from it. At which point he said nothing and just walked off... He should have greeted me in some pleasant manner, he did not. He should have asked me nicely if he could help me. Again, he did not. Instead he approached me with and runde and very unpleasant attitude. I have worked in many many different jobs that had me in contact with customers and people in general, this is not how you approach them and treat your customers and the general public. I would like him made aware of his bad actions and have him re-trained in customer service. Other than him the other employees were great, from the young pretty female to the older gentleman and the heavy-set male employee. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. Very easy and pleasant experience when they were there, bad experience with the male on Sunday.

The four was left open when I arrived, which I thought was to ease my move in. However, I quickly discovered that the door was off the rails, and bent, making it difficult to close. Additionally, the unit was absolutely littered with trash, especially a ton of broken glass and ceramics. I expected it would have at least been swept and checked before I moved in. Had I known it wouldn't be, I would have brought a broom to clean up before unloading. The broken glass was a safety issue, and the damaged door is at best disappointing, and at worst will make accessing my belongings difficult.

Though there were only two free units left on the lot, the one I had reserved had mountains of garbage in it that had not yet been cleaned out, rendering moving in impossible. I did not move in to a uhaul storage facility, and am unlikely to try again. The staff arranged a storage unit reservation at another facility and that is the most I can say for my experience at Uhaul's storage facilities.

I replied no I did not.
