The IT situation at this location is abysmal. The poor staff were trying but unable to check me out due to outdated and insufficient hardware and or software. There was about 30 minutes of just waiting to pay. For some people, that wait could have made them quite irate. I suggest some more care with the computers and server, invest in a more efficient staff and customer experience.

I left a set of keys and building fob for my apartment and need to pick them up tomorrow.. It was too late to get them because we had put uhaul fob into alot and returned and then released we had left our set of keys on the dashboard slot..I'd appreciate to pick them up tomorrow before someone takes truck March 22 as early as possible as I do need them and don't want them lost.

Only reason for not a perfect score was not the fault of staff. It was due to technology issues with U-Haul systems. Working in IT it's frustrating to see slow poorly run IT systems.

Give back a refund of money when you give client 2nhrs and they only use 1hr. Plus, online it says you can use a bank debit Visa at the rental yet you can't so I was forced into a uhaul for $50 when I reserved a van at $20. I only used vehicle for 7km and again paid $50

Trailer was not clean like a U-haul truck would be, but this was irrelevant. The trailer was well equipped and maintained and worked very well for moving my disabled vehicle. An easy and positive experience both renting the trailer, picking it up, using it, and returning it. Well done U-Haul.

Online Reservation process became "bumpy" - wasn't easy to reserve for 3 days. Agents on telephone call to modify reservation were very helpful. Staff at this location were courteous and very helpful - I highly commend them. Vehicle return was expeditious.

The manager on duty (I believe, young man with a brown beard) flipped out in front of his staff and employees in an extremely unprofessional manner. He threw the keys on the floor for the employee to pick up and when people gave him a look he said "well I can't throw them at your head". I was disgusted someone like this can have power over anyone else.

I had booked a one way car dolly/trailer weeks in advance. There was one on site, but it was not available for one way use. We had a long day of packing and driving ahead of us with a 1200+ km trip and had to make a detour adding and additional 1,5 hours to our trip to pick up a car trailer. At the Portland uhaul site we had minimal assistance, longer wait, and had to move other truck and trailer out of the way to access the car trailer. I use uhaul as there is not much for alternative options, but have little confidence leading up to my rental that the equipment will be available or in the location I requested.

I booked the U-Haul at 89cents a km and when I arrived there they charged me 1,09cents a km. I don't think is far that I booked something at a price and then they charge it to a new price not happy and they girl working there was rude not friendly at all. She said the fuel was almost full when I got in the truck it was 3/4 tank. I took pictures for proof. Definitely won't be using your service again unless this is taken care of.

When I called to extend the rental because we were running late, the representative advised there would be an extra charge for that but did not tell me that the pre authorization amount was going yo be charged to my credit card instead of my being able to pay it on debit when I returned the truck. It would be nice if the gas left in the truck that is over what you used could be credited to the cost. We had no way of knowing how much fuel it would use and left a quarter of a tank above what was in it when we picked it up. We were told that there was nothing we could do about that.

I found one girl very rude and ignorant has no clues on customer care especially when we leave money into your paychecks, I was told I'd give that one extra day to remove a bed out of my storage facility they went and put a lock on it and I had to pay an extra month where I lost my keys on 16th had to get a locksmith then that my van broke down cost me $600 to remove my bed that includes the extra $100 fee for an extra month I did not need I went the next day to remove my bed out of the storage locker and there was a lock on the door and the gentleman would not remove it I told the girl never to speak to me again in the phone she speaks with I find some stuff including the manager extremely rude to the people who put a paycheck pockets the manager should have gave me the extra day to remove the bed then the locker would have became available to rent to others, I'm not impressed with the conduct of one girl and one or two staff members there they need to improve their customer relations8

Didi not have a larger unit available as per rep mentioned the morning I visited. I would have appreciated a call to confirm it was the smaller unit and try to find two together. As I booked a truck I received one month free rental but that only applied to one unit not the second that was needed. I feel due to the amount of money I have spent with U-Haul, the second unit fee could have been waived for the month as well.

I paid for the storage unit, added items into the unit locked it and left. The next afternoon I return to the unit and find a lock from uhaul on the door that says I haven't paid my fee. So I proceed to front counter and show my receipt for it being paid and was let into my storage unit. This was very inconvenient to say the least. I do not see how paying 216 is worth being locked out of my unit the next day, this needs to be remedied or I will leave the facility and find somewhere else to use for storage. Is anyone going to make this better ?

when working/sorting things in our storage unit 1813, the hallway light often went off and made it pretty dark in there. wish the sensor lights stayed on a bit longer. I also found it a bit challenging accessing the entrance for unloading/loading. Access cards would be so much handier than walking-in the main office when staff are often so busy or not available.

I am disappointed. I am being harassed with emails and mails about bills that I didn't incur. I only used 1 storage space and I exited the space before it was due and I'm getting bills for another storage that your staff mistakenly added to my account. But for three months they were charging me extra money and the manager instead of fixing the issue was insulting me that they did not charge me extra money until I called Uhaul customer service and they open a case for me and fixed the issue. When I was at the location everything was amazing. Wonderful staff and very clean place. I had trouble contacting the office. I live 7 hours away so needed to speak to someone at the facility. I called at least 40 times at different times and no one ever answers the phone. It goes to the call center. The wait time can be an hour to speak to someone and then they are unable to answer the question because they are not at the facility. I even tried speaking to my local uhaul to see if they could get through. The answer was no. Even though it is a pandemic, I think the local phone should be answered. Thanks

Confusing as to why the u-haul system requires 3 phone contacts and 2 addresses to rent a storage room. Alternatively phone contacts I understand, but a 2nd address does not make sense. Staff was very helpful in the setup process overall!

The entire process from renting a U-Haul truck, moving my belongings into and out of storage was seamless. The facility is clean, well lit and secure. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

I had my storage rental and used it for only 9 days on second month and had to pay for full month did not get prorated I find that totally wrong u should tell customers before renting to them

We got off on the wrong foot bc of workers from the states when I called to reserve giving me wrong information and booking etc. The manager was good about fixing them and helped me to achieve plans.

The parking lot is often difficult to maneuver; sometimes the rental trucks and trailers almost block the entrances to the storage unit area. This makes it hard to park close to load and unload.

When logging in i see 'Next rent due: (date) 0$. the charge appears 1 day after the due date. So when i log in before the date I assume 0 is due, but then incur late fees as rent show AFTER due date,

Got instigated about smoking the vehicle when explained I wasn't smoking in It, a young guy looked at me and said are you sure you weren't smoking darts. Not impressed at all.

Used location twice over the last 13 yrs.Moved out & was indicated that I would get a partial refund (by Mgr) for pretty much a month's rent.No contact from U-haul despite calling/Email them.Disapp'd.

The truck felt like I wouldnt make it across the street. Dangerous steering column. Poor brakes. The staff are cold too customer and each other. Not one smile or a thank you. I felt sad for them

Overall U-Haul storage facilities are great. Clean, secure and welll maintained. I never got the after hours code so I was not able to access the facility. I only need this once so not an issue.
