CHRISTIAN BOWERSThe beginning process via internet and app was good and easy to rent what I needed, however that process ended when the cashier and another employee kept talking to one another which slowed the process down for me. I didn't like that I needed to inspecting the 10' van rental on the app. The van was muddy and the seat cover was broken and uncomfortable for the entire experience. The end process was the worst. It was after hours so I needed to use the app. which didn't work. after a few attempts I called C.S. they directed me to use my web browser. Once there they were done assisting me. The web search did the same thing as the app. every time I added the necessary photo, it tool me back to the beginning. After 30 minutes I was just done and I placed the key in the box and drove away very frustrated. I wouldn't recommend U-Haul, however they seem to be the only game in town, so I guess they can be insufficient.
Michael ClancyThe cargo van had a strong smell of cigarettes. The vehicles should be clean prior to the next rental. An ozone generator should be used as needed. There was an issue with the gas gauge, which an associate took care of today.

Norman PellingtonWent to Newmanstown pa the guy took 30 minutes and rented me a 28ft truck when I wanted a trailer then he took 20min to rent me a trailer and then it wasn’t able to go one way he then sent me to Lebanon Pa for a one way trailer and they rented me a motorcycle trailer no left blinker and then I dropped it of at berrysburg Pa and they changed me for a round trip and and said I dropped at at wrong location and charged me for this I will never rent from u-haul again!!

Eric ShiehLess than 10 miles into our trip received a Low Oil warning on the dash. Had to stop and add a quart of oil, after calling and consulting with U-Haul. Seems like a pretty basic thing that the rental agency should look after.
Joseph KolinskiTook absolutely forever, over an hour, to get set up and actually have a rental unit with keys in my hand and that's after already having a reservation online! It's insane! And there's nothing stopping your neighbor from climbing over the wall and getting into your unit! The walls are simply just drywall and the screws are exposed! Your stuff is not safe here, you don't know who your neighbor is.

Chris BartoAfter receiving the truck: it was dirty in the cab and the back was not swept out at all, driver's door armrest was falling off, oil change light was on, zip-tie on the handtruck was broken indicating someone else had used it and not replaced before I got the truck. Return: I did an after-hours return and the app would not work at all. I attempted to use the website and it crashed on me three times. Eventually I called the 1-800 number and did it that way. Very frustrating and disappointing since the app is promoted so much. Overall, the location is convenient and the truck worked fine.

gary davidheiserI had a problem initially opening the back and side doors, but eventually got them opened. Other than that, everything was great. The manager, Ryan, made everything happen quickly and efficiently since I was under a time crunch.

matthew rogersThe condition of the truck that I rented was incredibly poor- the transmission skipped several gears and it had an exhaust leak. Also the trim was falling of the back and allowed water to leak in. I highly recommend that the truck I drove be retired. Staff at this location is great, Rachel is absolutely awesome and should be given a raise! always very helpful and friendly- I can not say enough good things about her!

The manager asked what we were going to do with the items in the unit that we were cleaning out. He offered us a U-Haul storage unit free for a month. Until we figured things out. The staff at the Lebanon, PA U-Haul are definitely top notch.

Laura KinneyThis Uhaul location was chosen because of convenience and turned out to be a huge mistake. Firstly I would like to say the building is infested with roaches and mice or rats. Not sure which one. All throughout the building there are huge traps laid out for the rodents. At first opening my storage I noticed 2 inside of my unit placed in opposing corners. I let that go because I had already loaded up my truck and then the cart and came to this location. So upon arriving at the location I entered my access code and could not enter the building. I then went inside and asked for help and was told I have to enter my access code in 2 separate doors in order to enter the building which was highly inconvenient and could have been told to me when I booked it online. So I didn't waste any time. Then as I was loading my belongings into my storage my daughter noticed a roach crawling out of 1 unit up the wall and all around. I made 2 trips with my truck and on the 3rd trip I tried to get in and was locked out. I was never told online that I had to pay extra to use the 24 hour service. It states that the Uhaul location itself is open for self service 24/7 and I was annoyed that I was standing outside and unable to get in and unload my car. My last issue with this whole situation was that my military veterans discount was not applied and there have been hidden fees in order to utilize this storage. If it were not for the urgency to get my belongings in a place I would have taken all of my things out. I plan on moving it all out within a week because I would hate if my belongings became roach infested and damaged due to mice or rats chewing through my stuff. I would not recommend storing your items here unless you get kicked out and have no place to put your stuff .

When I cleaned it out I found 3 die ones, showed the manager and he didn't seem to wonder about it. I told them and also showed them the damage last month. Ok thanks for letting us know. I tried to put a claim in for the damage but I needed the policy number for it, but no one would call me back or they said they can't fine one. I will never use your storage unit again

Wanda Rodriguez | Expérience généraleExpected more from a storage facility. No lighting available inside the interior storage, lights in hallway leading to storage unit were very dim. The little interaction with staff seemed like we were a nuisance. Paid $170/month for interior storage and did not expect to see a lot of mouse waste on my wooden furniture shelves. Luckily only stored wood and plastic furniture and so far did not find damage from these critters. Would suggest this facility invest in some type of rodent repellents for their units so no one else has to deal with finding surprises in their belongings.

When getting my account set up, there were two employees working at the computer without any sort of mask. When checking out, there were three employees working on and out of the building. One of the employees did have his mask on while outside, but when I saw him inside later, he and the other two employees were not wearing masks. I felt very unsafe. In addition, the couple of customers I saw inside the storage warehouse were not wearing masks either (which I acknowledge is a lot harder to control).

I did not know this at the time but the employee knew that and did not contact me to let me know. Instead, he let it go three days until finally letting me know he was charging me $15 extra for being late. I tried to tell him this, but he did not seem to care and charged my card anyway. So instead of $103 I paid $118. I know it isn't that big of a difference but during times like these, every penny counts and this entire ordeal was very unflattering. It was like HE was making that $15 and did not seem to care what I had to say. I hope Uhaul can help me with this issue or else I will take my business elsewhere next time.

And I was very upset your company does not prorate the unit, my unit was from 6 to 6, I checked out on the 20th, that's 15 days early, I feel I should have gotten a reimbursement for those days
