The young lady with the original check out did a phenomenal job. My only concern was the gentleman who checked the truck out I mentioned to him about the tire pressure signals on the dash and he mentioned that they had not reset after a tire change! I did a lot of highway driving and the ride was absolutely terrible even though I had to load balanced on the 10 foot cube!! I know that it is a busy time to get customers in and out but the stability of something simple as tire pressure should be considered better by the discharge porter. My process of return went really well by the team. I explained my concerns while I was driving on the highway they checked it and over, checked it manually again for the next customer, I am very happy that there looked into it, but I was disappointed with the use of the vehicle. The staff at this location normally goes above and beyond, unfortunately maybe it was too close to quitting time when I picked up the truck !!!

It's a scam to get another $30 plus $18,9 in fuel. I even returned the vehicle 2 hours early than I was supposed to. I called to complain and get the charges reversed since they were incorrect and was told a manager would call me back this morning. None one ever called.

Brandon WalkerI've explained to multiple U-haul sources regarding my dissatisfaction. They don't seem to care. I've been renting from them for forever. But I may be done with them after this. This recent time, I got an "Oh sorry about that", not just on this last rental, but the time before just several days prior. Let's start with 2-21 rental at 4152 W. Armitage. Twice I confirmed from agents prior that we needed blankets and an appliance dolly. They said no problem. I arrived and he pulled up my reservation and still treated me like I was ordering a truck for the first time and I kept saying I already reserved it and should be in the system. After 2 confirmations...dolly and blankets still were not there. Worker says, "Oh, you can drive to this location to get them." Now We had a U-haul-assigned delivery company on their site say they were counting on U-haul to supply. It made the move really diffficult. U-haul dropped the ball that day. Fast-forward 2nd truck 2 days later. We arrived 45 min late and not only was the truck still not prepped, the kid working the lot spent 10 min walking us around the lot to finally find it and say, "Oh, here it is, here ya go". He hands me the keys and I look at him with still-snow-covered windshield and Rent Me cardboard in the window. I said NO. This is not ready. He said, "My bad". He cleaned it off. I hopped, cab filthy, and it showed 2 miles to empty. Hopped out and got to counter saying to put gas in it. They said they could only swap the truck. I said no and prayed to find gas in 2 miles as on a time schedule. Then opened cargo door and was completely filthy from drywall dirt. This was the worst low-level BS I've dealt with that my gal has convinced me to share as a google review. I plan to and will contact the company first.

DRAGAN MAKSUTOVICOld building only has 2 elevators. One small one medium. New section has no elevator access. Loading and unloading area does not exist because bay doors do not work, both of them. Invest in the facility like it was in Lincoln Park and just make it less cumbersome to get inside the building with items on a dolly and that all bay doors work.

daniel danceaRentals are never ready at scheduled time for pick up. Oil changes, dirty, no gas, flat tires or the app just does not work properly because it is a dead zone. I come to this location out of convenience to my personal residence but I use U-Haul for balloon delivery jobs. I have to allow at least an additional hour before deliveries for pick-up. It has yet to fail, every time I pick up a van, there is some issue that results in over a 40 min wait at least.
REBECCA RENKOSIAKDifficult to get to talk to someone at this location over the phone. I ended up on the phone hearing the same information over and over from robots. I never received a sufficient response. Also, on my last day I was on the elevator and an employ also got on. This employee stood in front of the control panel for the elevator so I couldn't press the proper floor button so I could get to floor 1. I think this person could have been more helpful.

The order page on the website is a bit wonky. No matter how many times I signed the agreement, it always said that I needed to complete it before the Box shipped. Same with other items in the pre-move checklist. I completed and submitted the forms several times, and it never showed as completed. Somehow, though, the Box was picked up on time and delivered on time - and nothing was broken in transit. Excellent!

john viramontesThe location is clean and the truck I rented was easy to find,, unfortunately I had to get the keys from the front desk and there was only one person at the register while there were 3 people waiting and all I had to do is get the keys, perhaps a lockbock with a code would work just like the UPS lockboxes so i can get the keys. I returned the truck and I tried doing it with the application and it did not work to do so, I had to get someone to do it, and they were easy to do it but I thought the app was going to do it. I hope this last thing gets fixed, otherwise I will have to tell someone to do it for me, fortunately there was nobody else in the place so they did it fast.

If the manager has amenities to modify account and pay, U-Haul should look into where their money is going and if all rooms are really reported to the company. I didn't like the treatment at all paid U-Haul for over 2 years for a room and when I moved out I get treated like crap. Nice one! Michael. Talk to your employees and by the looks of it. You guys have done this before to other customers. Like she told me some customers tell her to keep the $60... I'm not one of them. I know what's going on... A associate of mine work at that place. Even vehicles come up missing or used too... Trow away the entire team. And I didn't move out on 7/72023 I moved out 6/29/2023 I have pictures of empty room and details of day and time pics was taken and I'm also on your company camera talking to your employee when I was done moving.

Only one functioning elevator and it's very small. The card reader doesn't work half the time. The elevator doors closed on me multiple times and didn't even open back up. Like literally squished me with the doors. Very unsafe. The hallways to get to the storage unit are very narrow and some genius decided to put piping and radiators on the ground instead of in the ceiling like most business which made the hallway even more narrow. Obviously people are moving homes, apts etc and they're gonna have alot of items why not make the hallway less crowded. Horrible horrible layout. There are hardly any carts available. One person had 6 carts outside their unit while reorganizing their unit leaving none behind for people moving into their unit. Most of the staff at this location seems like they have some sort of substance abuse problem. And I'm pretty sure they are people living in some of these units. Never again! I'll never use U-Haul storage ever again

The facility for storage, the docks were dirty had bottles and trash blowing around. This was most likely from garbage humans just emptying their cars of trash on the floor. Maybe put some trash cants around the area? And a sign that says (Please help keeping our facility clean do not litter). Also the storage unit floor had something black and sticky and it got all over the end of my couch. Because I had the couch standing up on end. Maybe occasionally wash and clean the storage rooms after every 6months of use.? Would have been more annoyed with my stay but the guy at the front desk was great so it evened out my overall experience.

When I got lost, Carlos in the warehouse took the time to walk me to the access point and showed me where to park, how to use the garage door and lift, and where to find the carts and elevator. Michelle on the second floor was friendly and responsive in helping get an alternate storage unit. In every way, a great local team at Fullerton. This does not happen my accident. That's why I asked for the manager and thanked him. At the Uhaul national level, I have been very frustrated the last ten days with this truck rental for a move to a different state. I did not realize how crazy-busy Uhaul is during the summer. I also realize that many companies are having a difficult time hiring and maintaining good staff. I can never seem to be able to talk with a local office. This is not an accident. It seems like a process system. After several rings, calls always go to the national office. Long wait times, with calls sometimes dropped. I get conflicting information from different agents at the national office. Quality of service is inconsistent in terms of knowledge and focus on helping the customer. Two days ago (July 12) I spent 90 minutes in the hot sun trying to get access to my truck rental. The local pick up was a convenience store with one employee who could not help me. Three calls to get a national office agent on the phone to help me were completely unsuccessful. I finally gave up, overheated, exhausted, and very annoyed with Uhaul national office. Uhaul lost a truck rental, and I lost half a day. Overall, I have been a satisfied customer with Uhaul for over ten years.

At these prices and such a big facility I don't see why you can't afford it .

Xavier was top-notch customer service too - he made sure I reviewed the truck before taking it (which I really appreciated - I didn't know the X's meant it was a documented scratch). He also helped tons upon returning to load my stuff in storage and return the truck. Moving days suuuuuck, no matter what, and these guys made my day run SO smoothly and efficiently - it really made my whole month, you have no idea. Thank you so much guys!!
