I ordered the truck for a 7pm pick up and when I arrived at the location the keys had not been placed in the 24/7 box. I had to be at a work event the next day at 7 am but was forced to wait to come get this truck when the location opens at 7am. I was then late to the work event by 2 hours. Major inconvenience. What is the point of 24/7 pick up if it's not ready for the customers

Nothing for this location. I have rented from several stores in my area and this on by far is the best. The lady upfront (cant remember name, red head) was the nicest employee. I run a collision center and wish that my employees were as easy to deal with as she was. Great job!

I rented a van for a one-way trip. Everything was quick and easy, and the gentleman at the counter (who I believe was the owner of this location) found a way to save me some money by changing the dropoff location. I would definitely use this U-Haul location again.

This was the 3rd location we went to for the truck rental. The staff was fine. The overall experience was horrible. Not having what we needed, sending us to locations claiming ro have the trucks and items we needed delaying our move, and ultimately caising us to have the truck longer than we expected which incurred more charges. I won't be using Uhaul if 8 ever need to move again.

I drove off the lot in a 10ft rental truck and noticed after I got less than 100 ft away that the front windshield was cracked from 1 side to the other across the bottom of the driver side over to the passenger side and up to the top of the windshield, very dangerous but I returned it for another rental

The experience at the first store was horrific I know they experienced the tornado but the website still says that they're open till 7:00 and when I look called they said they were at the office was open till 7:00 so then when I went there at 5:30 they were closed so I had to drive my RV all the way to the place that had the trailer I needed and Madison that was another $20 in gas I had to spend not to mention in the worst time of day to travel but at that store everything was good they treated me Fair I'm just concerned about the time and the extra $20 I had to spend to get there when you advertise that you're open to a certain time people count on that I realize their experiencing technical difficulties with all the tornado damage but that shouldn't change the fact that whatever time you're advertising online and whatever time the recording saying is what time you should be there till the lady that I talk to a customer service said they should have been there till 6:45 it was 5:30 and there was nobody there

John W was a great customer service rep. I did have some issues with the emergency brake on the car hauler activating during my travels when I struck a severe bump on the road. However, John did honor taking 1 day off my daily charge bill for my troubles in having to wait for U-Haul roadside assistance to fix the emergency brake.

My husband was pulled over because the light over the Tag was out and we got a ticket that's the only issue. I feel as if it was a big I convince as a customer. All trucks should be inspected and things should be repaired or replaced they rent trucks out

I originally attempted to rent from White's Creek Pike in Nashville, TN and they were unreliable and unprofessional. Their equipment was broken. They did not show up for work on time. They are the reason I had to switch my reservation from their store to 121 Moving Center. The service at 121 Moving Center was great. They helped changed my reservation the same day. I received my 26' uhaul and dollys from them.

They literally shut and locked the door on me when I tried to return the trailer at 3:50 so that I had to come back the next day. Then an employee got rude with me when I was able to return it. 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

check pivot points to properly with load ensure working, check straps to ensure same length, have them check air pressure to ensure at proper inflation for load. ours had none of these things correct. Had a significant issue finding place to air up tires on dolly, pivot did not work and had major issue getting one side of vehicle strapped down. Pivot not working caused front of vehicle tires to turn to make curves and turns.

The truck was clean but didn't have a ramp. I know that I have rented trucks before that had ramps so it was extremely hard and frustrating trying to load the truck so I just returned it and my and went to Penske and got a different truck. I would only recommend only if you don't need a ramp. The customer service was great just the ramp missing made it a horrible day!

It was horrible customer service that I ever had !! They didn't wanted to charge my debit card even tho it was an option in their monitor for debit card I reserved it online with my debit card and just because I reserved it online with my debit they didn't wanted to give me a truck !!! They said u should pay with credit even I paid for it!! Can't wait to happen again to do a liggal action against lady that worked there !!

The truck had a horrible smell that we had to endure the whole ride from Nashville to Knoxville. It had been cleaned and an air freshener in it but the horrible odor of dead animal or wet dog. It was a horrible experience

Well...I just learned today that I was charged $1 per mile for being 41 miles over our allotted number of miles. I think that is pretty poor...especially considering we told the manager that the truck leaked in the heavy rains we drove through and got several of the boxes wet and we didn't raise a stink about it.

Check engine light was on and truck bounced continuously when under braking. Unable to fill up truck at gas station due to seal not forming around the pump. Truck smelled continuously of marijuana. Will not be doing business with U-Haul in the future.

Best way to improve is talk to or get rid of John firks (or firsk or frisk). The guy should not be at a counter allowed to deal with the public. I walk inside for my 0800 appointment at 0801 yesterday morning to pick up a trailer. My father in law and myself are waiting for someone. John walks in and I said howdy how are you today? The guy did not even respond. So my father in law ask him how he's doing. And he mumbled something, which neither of us heard. So I approach the counter and get hollered at like I'm a child, "just give me a minute, I'm not even clocked in yet". To which I said "how was I supposed to know that". And he didn't say anything until after walking around and pacing like he was having a terrible day… at 0800 in the morning. I grabbed John Walkers business card and then the guy started acting like a civilized individual. No reason to treat some poorly like that. I've used U-Haul multiple times in multiple cities and states. This is one location. I will never go back to. Plain and simple.

I reserved a hand truck with my truck rental and went to what has to be the biggest U-Haul facility in Middle Tennessee on my move day only to be told that no hand trucks were available. The concept of a reservation was too difficult for the employees at this location to understand and I had to complete a 7 hour, 2 story move with no hand truck. They offered no solution whatsoever and couldn't have been less helpful. I gave 2 stars since the truck was clean at least.

John, Kayla, Zoey, Troy, and a new girl I literally just forgot her name she worked sat 6/24/23, were all very helpful, caring, friendly, patient, understanding, after 3 yrs being there they kinda became family. They are absolutely a great crew and I will never forget them. They were still professional yet they were people just like me and that made ALL the difference in the world to me. I always use U-Hauls trucks and storage for my moves however this time my experience was dreadful so much to the point that I had in a panic attack a severe one The unit that I was supposed to be renting and your expert told me would be large enough for my furnishings to store was not I had to then go to another location to when your customer service representative call they said it was available I get there it was not I lost an hour with my movers trying to get a unit therefore a one-day move turn into a two and a half day move and I at the end of this move am exhausted and dissatisfied and have lost money. When I do move out of my unit I would no longer sadly be using U-Haul for anything going forward in the future nor can I recommend it to family or friends

I tried contacting them and got 3 people who claim they couldn't find my information in September. I email them to tell them I don't want to lose my unit cause my mom is in there. Then October come and I get an email saying final attempt but they sold the unit. Now I can't get anyone on the phone.. would not recommend anyone here. I can't replace my mom or my engagement ring

The access code never did really work correctly and seems moot since there is no gate. There were dirt dauber nests on every wall and was it was severely infested with roaches. The facility treated the unit for roaches but did nothing about the dirt daubers. We had to remove them ourselves.

Mice and red wasps were a significant problem in my unit. I was assured at move in that pest control was a top priority for the facility. All off my items were stored in plastic bins, not cardboard boxes. However, several priceless heirlooms were damaged beyond repair by mice nests, urine, and feces. I was stung last summer when I opened my unit for sorting some items. I reported the wasps nests, and knocked down the nests myself repeatedly. My account was on autopay. More than once, I received a bill with "late fees" because the billing was not processed as expected. When I tried to contact the store, I went into corporate UHaul phone systems that were unable to resolve the issue or a never ending loop only to be told I'd need to physically visit the local office and pay my bill (even though it was in auto pay). Brandon and John are fantastic employees. Their hands are tied by an inefficient corporate structure that surrounds them. Note: The fencing at the back of the property near the train tracks is not secure. Two different times I was at my unit (toward the back of the property), the same couple was hanging out under the covered porch area. One time, they were arguing, and the argument escalated into physical blows. I immediately locked my unit and reported the incident to the office. I was unable to complete my unit sorting at the time due to the incident. This was not due to the fault of the workers. Staff have been accommodating, helpful, and customer service has been as expected. I have been credited fees and accommodated, but the pests were never under control. Building B has a mouse problem. Please ensure this is taken care of before promising patrons that their heirlooms and items will be safe from pests. Thank you to Brandon and John for their continued solutions. I would only recommend an indoor, climate controlled storage company/space future forward. Merci.

After spending a weekday there while movers loaded our trucks from storage, very thankful for this facility. Each UHaul staff member was pleasant, helpful, every time I walked to the counter - in spite of delays with payment methods due to address changes - and handled each request I saw and heard fully.

I transferred my larger #45 unit to someone that shared half the space the last few months, we went inside the store in June 2020 with driver's licenses, credit cards, signed, auto pay, no longer my unit. In Dec 2020, I got the smaller #91 unit and discovered that my name was still on her #45 account online, I couldn't get to my #91 online because I was listed as hers for #45, her info also on it instead of my #91, couldn't pay my account or set up my usual auto pay. I received aggressive emails with a former manager's name at the bottom, the new manager of the past year not on the e-mails. No one could fix any of this with MANY unpleasant and lengthy attempts, no one could take responsibility, calling the 800# didn't help after much effort, and could never reach the Madison storage unit location by phone. I also had an especially hostile encounter with the employee Rory who did not respect me as a customer or believe anything that I said I was told and charged me a $39 late fee the first time I went in to try to get auto pay fixed in person since I couldn't get anything fixed online or through the 800#. If not for all this for almost a year, all else would have been good.

The worker must have had a really bad day. We arrived 15 minutes before closing with 2 trucks to return and 2 storage units reserved, and the man on staff walked in from his truck, told me they closed in 15 minutes and I should come back tomorrow. I asked to get started with the time available and finish our transaction- he then threw something down, and was as minimally helpful as possible in acknowledging and printing receipt. I had to ask for additional information 3 separate times about the units and where to find them. He was out by 7 pm.

Two lots to park the trucks and trailers, but mostly all of them were kept by the storage units causing it to be difficult to get in and out at times. Anytime the parking stall has blue paint it means that it is Handicap. My last day there an employee made me park where it was painted blue. She argued that it is not Handicap. Just because you start to scrape away the painted sign doesn't make it not Handicap, there is still blue and a ticket can still be issued.

Rat droppings and a caved in ceiling that damaged lamps and pictures that apparently got wet and had to be thrown away. I was not given a refund for the days I didn't use the storage, but conveniently charge 25 if I was a day late. I moved out the 28th of the month so that's 5 days before the next bill was due. I wasn't given the number to file a claim for the items destroyed or cleaning fee for the furniture that rats have climbed all over..

Specifically reserved a drive-up storage unit as I have a few very heavy items, including a real-wood dresser that weighs about 500 lbs. I received confirmation that I had a drive up unit reserved and when I got there after a 12 hour drive the facility had a second floor unit that was only accessible by a huge ramp. They were unapologetic about this and had no offers or attempts of rectifying the problem, I went to another facility.

We were displaced due to a horrible tornado that took out our home and belongings. I was loading items into my storage unit at the Madison, TN location alone. The ramp to the second floor unit was not large enough to pull the cart up with the boxes. It is a huge mess. I asked someone at the counter if they could just help me pull the cart up the ramp, which would take one minute of muscle. To which, a very dirty, unkempt woman with a big septum piercing looked at me and said "that's not my job sorry" and her coworker appeared to be concerned, but that's all that it was, appearances. She kept herself behind the counter while I cried. My posessions were broken from attempting to go up this ramp. So after losing almost everything, I lost more because one person couldnt be bothered to lend me a hand. This is absolutely shameful, and the Madison location should be ashamed of themselves. We are all Nashville neighbors, and the least that someone could do, is show a litle compassion. Disgusting.

Facility is hard to reach on the phone, but that seems to be the same for most facilities. They did however return a call 48 hours later; which is rare for most facilities.

Live German Cockroaches were in my unit & crawling from underneath 2 units 2 doors down almost as soon as we started taking items out. Because of it, I threw much of my items in the on-site dumpster.

My reservation said I could access the storage unit until 10pm. Found out when i got there that i could only access it till 7pm. Had a truck lined up and two friends willing to help me move. Bummed

The Madison U-Haul Storage with General Manager Mike Ozden and his Assistant General Manager Brandon Jones and their crew was so AMAZING, HELPFUL, WITH EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I loved it.
