I moved from Albuquerque, NM two years ago on short notice and Pamela was fabulous arranging for my unit before I left Albuquerque. The unit was as described and clean. Awesome employee who monitored the property. I got a call one day from her because she noticed I hadn't closed the latch properly. So, even though the lock was on the unit was not locked! If you need storage in Manchester I highly recommend this location

I had a rough few weeks due to a move. Nothing was going my way until I met Pamela at the U-Haul in Manchester. She made everything so easy and was by far the best experience I ever had at a storage facility. I will be using U-Haul for all my storage needs.

I rented a unit at this facility in 2005. Before Pamela Eckert arrived (and prior to U-Haul) the facility was poorly run, a revolving door of managers and not particularly clean. That changed when Pamela took over and she is the reason for my Excellent rating. She is incredibly hard working, has never been afraid to get her own hands dirty, always professional yet pleasant to deal with, and has amazing customer service skills.

The best thing about this place is the staff; specifically Pamela Eckert. She had a wonderfully pleasant demeanor. She provided assistance for a number of requests: Locations for proper refuse removal. U-Haul restroom locations that are clean. Water to hydrate Sanitizer availability Provided push carts for moving large items. The service, price, availability and security U-Haul is best storage in NJ.

Keep up with the pest control the outer door to the controlled temperature units. We're being invaded by ants, and the glue trap had a couple of dead roaches. So treat according to your pest control person.

We are moving back home from Williamsburg, Virginia to the Jersey Shore. As a US Navy Vet and Retired Fire Fighter/Medic. Public Service is everything to me. Over the last many years customer service has a become horrific with so many businesses. However, the service I received at both Ace Hardware in Williamsburg on Monticello Ave with our U-Haul Trailer rental storage unit on the Jersey Shore were beyond exceptional. Pamela Eckert, Center Store Manager went out of her way to provide us with the most professional and friendly service possible. She made us feel like family after only meeting her once. The manager, Pam Eckert, was extremely professional and helpful. Was shown the storage area I had leased which had not been done at other storage facilities. She explained everything clearly. She also checked out my rental truck upon my return of it. It was completed in a timely manner and easily understood by me. Ms. Eckert was a pleasure to deal with and was most efficient of all the rental personnel I have dealt with (UHaul and otherwise) over the past month in my move from FL to NJ. I Would readily rate her an 11 on a scale of 10. It truly was a pleasure to deal with her. I would recommend her very highly to others I knew to be contemplating relocating to this area or for their storage or rental needs.

The attendant there, Pamala, was so helpful. She saw me trying to figure things out. She came over, helped me change my pin, and even went with me to my unit. She showed me how to get into my unit and how to use the lock. She directed me to the carts and helped me prop the door open. Finally, she showed me the bathrooms and which way to go to checkout. She went above and beyond. She was amazing!

when I went to the unit number it appeared from the outside smaller than the description on line, before i broke the seal i called the toll free number and the associate was very helpful and said the two unit numbers were in fact one unit with no divider wall and it would be the 10x10x8 that I registered for.

The manager at the Manchester facility is super-helpful and always friendly and pleasant. Facility is well kept and we had no issues with our unit. We only left because a storage facility opened a quarter-mile from our home and U-Haul Manchester is 10-miles away.

After completing the online contract for a unit I had some concerns and called the facility on Route 9 the next morning. Fortunately for me, Pamela Eckert, who I knew from when she was onsite at Manchester full time when I previously had a unit there, answered the phone and I was reassured that everything was fine. She has always gone above and beyond what is expected and she proved once again that she still does that.

If you fill out something incorrectly online, you have to wait to speak with manager to fix it. The phone number listed is to the Rt 9 location. Manager only in Manchester part time. She is VERY nice. You don't really have 24 hr access. After 10pm you get locked in. Move in was excellent! Manager is great, she contacts you to check on how things went, she goes above & beyond!

I cannot speak highly enough about this storage facility and staff. If I could give them 10 stars it wouldn't be adequate. They go above board with everything! I've been to other storage places and there is NO COMPARISON! Highly recommend everything about them including their truck rentals. Just know you are in the best place with the greatest staff!

I have been a customer for over 5 years Never had any issues. Staff /store on premises. Pam was always approachable, very friendly and always helpful. She even loaned me her jumper cable when my battery died. She is a very dependable person and has been a consistent staffer the entire time I was there. I hated leaving because it meant I would no longer see her. The facility is customer friendly always clean. I would definitely recommend it to friends an family.

I couldn't get my access code to work on the first day of driving to the remote location. The IT guy was of no help because he was driving. It's the next day and nobody has called me to say that the problem has been fixed. I do have a temporary password for now.

After several years my storage facility (in Manchester, NJ) front office was closed down, making face to face contact impossible. Had to rely on another facility several miles further away for monthly payment. The last 3-4 months my checks were not being returned to my bank. When they finally did appear on my bank statement, one was listed as lost! In the beginning, I was provided email reminders a week before payment was due. They just stopped coming. I tried to get it turned back on but after calling corporate, and talking to local U-Haul manager, nothing happened. A convenient reminder I just lived without! BTW, it probably could have been rectified if I was able to talk to someone in your IT Dept. On the positive front, there was no mice or water damage to my contents, but the white plastic ceiling in my unit is starting to fall down and the door is getting hard to open!

This facility is superior and second to none. Management and staff both display outstanding customer service and a willingness to help not seen in a service oriented business today. If you are looking for good, great all old fashion customer service, in a clean and pleasant environment this is the U Haul center you want to do business with. They will treat you as family.

staff was helpful and friendly. I thought the unit would be sealed from outside animals and insects since it did say climate (I assumed controlled when that is all it said). There was a rat/mice trap in the unit which freaked me out. I wish I had thought to bring tape to securely seal my boxes so little critters don't make nests in the packing paper. Definitely won't use this long term as I don't want to add to my family and now will be nervous opening boxes.

I was harrassed on several different occasions from one employee who would just drive around and yell at customers very disrespectful. She was never in the office or around to help anyone. I seen the way she interacted with other people there besides myself and it was completely unprofessional. Cursing and using abusive speech in front of children. I was charged for someone else's mistake of throwing out furniture because she seen me throw out bags of distilled water that is used for my son's ventilator machine that had busted in the storage. She assumed everything was mine and charged my card. Even after I explained it was just water and I nicely placed it in the trash bin that had no signs you couldn't or say it was from u-haul. I explained I didn't have time to do more because my son's ventilator which helps him breath 24-7 was dying and I needed to get somewhere to charge it. She was heartless and didn't care at all. It's all about money and I had a small 5x8 unit just for my son's stuff so I can get to with easy access during our move. I will never work with this location again or recommend it to anyone. It was disgusting the way I was treated and other people during this rough time. It was very unsafe to not have the facility with lights because it's so dark and I was there alone a few times and had to use my car lights just to see into my unit. Again I wouldn't recommend to anyone go somewhere else unless you want to be frustrated, charged for unnecessary stuff, and belittled by an employee who doesn't do her job appropriately!
