The 10x15 unit recommended was not big enough for a 26ft trailer to store. The unit was an old office that had plywood to cover the window, sockets bent/broken and the door (even with a lock) could easily be breached. Also, we almost got a flat tire due to the trash and debri around the facility. We elected to store elsewhere. ***the customer service was awesome, the facility failed them*** I will probably use again for renting items, just not storage.

Not sure about improvements but the customer service I received from Cory and Christy were amazing. It is so hard to get people who are helpful and actually care about the customers needs but both of those women were so good and helped me so much. Thank you for committing to good service and making my experience fast, efficient, and FRIENDLY!!! It meant the world to me. Sorry if I spelled their names wrong but it was 2 women at the Midwest city location.

Make sure the vehicle has been checked for driving and road handling. The vehicle was hard to maneuver on the road because there was too much play in the steering wheel, it was like driving a rickety cart.

The experience started out horribly. I was told to pick up a truck at 1840 S Midwest Blvd.There was no truck there and I was told the owner no longer works there. Then was sent to Red Rock Self Storage where the combination that was given wouldn't allow the lock to open. During this process i talked to several customer service reps and was given numbers that did not work or they couldn't help me. Very frustrating situation. This move was time sensative due to the loss of a family member. I was on the phone off and on more than 4 hours and ended up getting a truck the next day. The only positive expereince during my experience was Cassandra and Brooklyn at the SE 29th St. location. The only two that listened and gave all the correct information. I appreciate these two ladies and recommend them when dealing with UHAUL.

When fine picking the trailer there was a lot of spots 5-6 to be exact I had them place a small x sticker on to make sure when we got to place going and drop off we didn't get charged for damage. I mean they where little dings and scratches but didn't want to chance it!

The 20' truck was very loud to drive. I needed to purchase ear plugs to withstand the whistling of the passenger side door and window. I had inadvertently locked the keys inside, fortunately I had purchased lockout insurance. The guy that opened the door to get the keys forced the top of the door open. This was after I had noticed how loud the noise problem was. It only got worse after the lockout assistance. Also the top of the cab whistled. This vehicle should come with a hearing protection advisory. Btw, some free coffee at these rental offices would be nice.

The store and employees were fine. when I went to pick up my rental it was out of gas because someone stole the gas from it. They put what gas they had in it which was only enough to get me down the street to the gas station. I was told if I brought it back with a quarter of a tank in it they would refund me but I have yet to see that reflected on my card. But the staff were very nice and the store was clean.

I'm incredibly impressed by this location. The team's friendly demeanor and genuine willingness to help make storing my belongings here a pleasure. Whenever I had an issue, they were quick to communicate and went out of their way to find solutions that worked for me. Their facility is secure, clean, and convenient. The staff & manager were wonderful, they were very helpful, professional, and kind. U-Haul needs to replace the truck I rented, it's in rough shape overall. I know this is not the managers fault, she has to work with what is provided to her location.

Train your installers on proper installing and wiring your hitches. A hour and a half installation took almost 5 hours to do. The installer took a piece of my car and had it laying in the back of the car. The connection for the wires for the hitch are tucked away in the spare tire compartment. I could have done a better job myself if I had the tools to do it.

The truck drove very strange with tow jail feature engaged, very loud engine noises, sounded like it was revving up when you braked, enough to cause concern. It did this when it was empty (no loads, I tested it. For science.) so it was not actually working extra to warrant the sounds it was making. It actually was a rough drive all around. It definitely need either maintenance or to be put out to pasture. It was a pretty nerve wracking drive.

The pickup location was changed the day before pickup. This was a huge inconvenience and added expense. The truck did not have cruise control. I was driving 1000 miles and that made the trip more difficult. Also, when picking up a vehicle, the staff should go over the location and functionality of the vehicle operations (lights, wipers, hauling settings, etc.). This was the worst experience I've ever had with UHaul. Very disappointing.

I have worked with Several U-Haul facilities. The group there at 29th St. in Midwest City is by far above and beyond expectations! If I could give them six stars, I would! The general manager, Cassandra Martin is a jewel. You should protect at all costs! Likewise, the staff who works with her were as cordial, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful as she is! I have typically had good service with U-Haul company, and at least three states. This facility provided service and care, head and shoulders above any others I have dealt with. They went above and beyond to address my individual problems and needs as a customer! Outstanding definitely six star performance!

Very unpleasant experience. My truck pickup location kept changing, self check-in wasn't functioning (I had to check-in at the front counter.), appliance dolly I ordered wasn't useful for my move (Too small!), access storage hours should be 24/7 (Big inconvenience!), directory map wasn't accurate nor useful, locating/entering my storage building was extremely frustrating (Inaccurate and unhelpful instructions.), staff was rude and declined assisting because it wasn't "7 o'clock," storage unit was located upstairs (Why?! I have very heavy furniture.), the padlock wasn't provided (Though I was told I'd be given one.), my truck drop-off location was several miles away (Again, why?! My UHAUL center is both a storage unit and a truck rental location.), video tutorials aren't universal (Rules don't apply to all locations.), I was overcharged (My truck rental rate was $100 more than what I was quoted over-the-phone.), and I did NOT receive my free first month storage rental (I was still charged $84 even after being assured that I wouldn't.). I'm extremely unhappy and disappointed with U-HAUL! Will never rent with this company again.

Though the facility and staff were helpful, your system was down for at least two days, making it impossible to book online or even by phone and when I arrived late afternoon, with a full truck after a difficult moving and driving experience, the check in was excruciatingly tedious and time consuming. I must say that your the MWC manager, Cassie, did EVERYTHING she could to get me into a unit as quickly as possible but your manual booking procedure was a nightmare. It was late in the day, and, even with the month free rent and having to pay the movers by the hour, I would have gone to another facility.

The 24 hour access was an issue in the beginning that the staff never really helped me resolve. The day I planned on moving I called the store front to make sure the access would work for me as it didn't the previous time I came before and I stressed the importance of it considering again I was moving out. The access didn't work and the staff was super unhelpful, the manager especially. It was a series of sarcasm mixed with poor communication on their end that left me dissatisfied

After having my entire house full of stuff stored at this facility for 2 1/2 years. I started moving everything out of storage. Only to find that a colony of mice and rats had taken up residence in everything I own. All of my childrens childhood moments and moments are ruined. EVERYTHING! To include every piece of linen or any cloth of any type that was in a box. All eaten by mice and rats. The unit leaked towards the back. Something that could be seen from the front of a full 26' unit. I was told, by Scott (said he was the president of marketing over all of uhaul), to claim it on insurance. He also said it was 100 % that facilities fault. Because they were using an old 26' uhaul truck enclosure that had not been properly sealed. There were several opening he saw that he said are normally covered with metal and welded. My unit wasn't. My great grandmothers quilts from the 20's and 30's. ALL 12 of them! Gone! My father in laws pictures with three different standing presidents. His paperwork and certificates from being the head U.S. Marshal in the western district of Oklahoma. How exactly do you put a price on this stuff?! It's stuff we use to remember special people in our lives. Yet means nothing to Scott, your president of marketing, or anybody else for that matter. So what exactly am I supposed to claim? Hurt feelings? Lack of empathy from uhaul? You have completely changed the dynamic of my family because your inability to do what you do for a living. Now I have to live with it. I will never use another uhaul product as long as I live!

I didn't rent the storage unit for the following reasons: old, dirty, dusty, mold/molded, water stain and a host of other issues. That storage unit should have been removed from the internet long ago because words can't describe the horrible condition of the unit - unable to upload photos. Another concern - why does it take 5 day to receive my refund back on my back card? Uhaul took my money and didn't provide the agreed upon service but I'm required to wait for return of my money. Pictures can and will be provided upon request.

Morton sensor lighting in hallways did not stay on when movement detected. No lights in units. If you don't bring your own light it's very hard to see in unit. Security screen monitor for clients/guests above entrance door not working. Dead mice and droppings found in my storage contents. Access card did not work. Mold found on boxes and furniture.

You don't prorate and that sucks. One day left in the month and you pay a full month. Have the storage unit one day into the next month and you pay a full month. NOT an economical way or place to store anything.

The lady at the call center was not clear on all of the rental details. I was not told that I had to go to the location to finalize the rental. I was not told that I had to use a certain lock. I was not told that my unit was upstairs. I am not able to navigate stairs very well. After a day of packing, I was very upset to learn that the only remaining unit of the size I rented was upstairs!! I had no choice at that point but to keep the unit. The young man helping me finalize my rental was very helpful.

There was no lighting inside the storage unit. That made it very dark and unpleasant.

Other than it being extremely hot and stifling in the building, the main doors to the storage building being difficult and the carts being difficult- it was a great place to help ease my transition

I used a local office in Shawnee, OK to make arrangements for the U-Boxes. The contact in MWC was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I can't recommend U-Haul enough for this kind of storage.
