Trying to scan the bar code when I was checking the trailer in was impossible and frustrating. I had to check it in another way.wasn't sure where to leave hand jack so I had to leave it in the open trailer after store hours.

The truck I was given had damage to the front bumper and was parked with the front right against the rear of another truck. The truck would pull badly to the left and the wheel was crooked. Could barely keep the wheel straight even on a flat road.The truck definitely needs to have the tires rebalanced and an alignment. Whole truck would shake at 55mph The fuel gauge was not reading right when I was getting gas so I overfilled it losing me more money than I wanted to spend on renting the truck. The lock on the back door was supplied but not the right key for the lock. The wiper blades also didn't work great in the rain so that made it very hard to drive in the rain at night.

Jazmyn and staff were hilarious, and so helpful with my move. I picked up the truck, and realized I needed something bigger when I got to the apartment (my brain was goo when I booked it and worse by the time of the move). I called and Jazmyn switched it out without issue and got me back to moving in a hot second. I have used this location twice before and will continue to.

Customer service was below average. The woman who checked me in didn't acknowledge me until she was ready. Kept typing on the computer and made me wait several minutes. I was the only one in line. Her attitude looked as if she didn't want to be there. The guy who helped me hitch the trailer was fine. The woman needs to understand the customer first mindset.

It was not first time customer friendly. First, we couldn't find the truck because it wasn't in the correct space and customer service told me just to look through the entire parking lot. Then, there was no indication where the lockbox was. Then we couldn't even open the lock. It took us an hour just to get the truck.

It was a great experience. Although I needed only 30 days to transition to my new apartment it was great that there wasn't a contract the exceeded the time I needed and reasonably priced with the accommodating space.

Would have been 5 star. As the lady that waited on me in the morning was outstanding. She was by herself and waiting on multiple people at the same time. She stayed professional the entire time. I was pretty impressed. As for my return I am currently disputing the fuel charge. I drove 20 miles and am being charged for 6 gallons of gas. That 3,3 miles per gallon. Sort of ridiculous. I put 2 gallons back into truck before dropping off. I should have took a pic of gauge but was busy and forgot. I expect my $26 back. If not I guess I will take to social media to warn the masses. I know it's only 26 bucks but it's the principle of it all that really bothers me.

Car trailer, (not the dolly) I'm a car guy and I think if I ever came across one of these trailers for sale, I would buy it. The functionality of the trailer was great. My Cadillac CTS wagon sits very low to the ground and this trailer worked great.

Locations should ALWAYS check if side mirrors are functional to adjust to drivers. Also they should check that electric wiring on trailers are intact and working. On my last visit, my truck had problems and had to be reassigned a new one causing me delays and another customer had to be sent to another location to get a trailer that had proper electrics.

i rented a one way. The girl only gave me an mileage allowance from the rental place to my destination. She should of includes the rental place to my moving place and my destination to the return destination. also, she was speaking 100 mikes an hour and not very friendly

Yes the uhaul was clean but we were traveling to texas and there wasnt anyway to charge our phones. The charging port would show charging but it wouldnt go up on charge and the plug to plug ny own into wasnt working..

The truck was clean, but really, really needs some attention in terms of mechanical issues. Very loud and rough running. The people at the center (person) was helpful and very professional. The employees I interacted with at this location were fantastic! I called in and enjoyed super help with my van reservation! I prefer personal touches over booking online as I had questions which were addressed in a knowledgeable manner this expediting my tasks! Honestly i never go out my way to rate a bad score to anyone because I'll give you the benefit of doubt . When i arrived which i will admit i was in a hurry so i did not read over my paperwork to see that when i called the store directly the general manager Jazmine Howard upped that i have rental coverage on the vehicle . I was late returning the rental vehicle due to the move in time changed and Jazmine sent me a message in all caps indicating yelling to call the store stating there's a breach in contract because I'd prefer a phone call considering moving can be stressful but again my problem is not her concern is just hoped to have better customer service experience. I then called the office and after going back and forth about the charge discrepancy i said i will just pay the fee. Jazmyn's was not friendly at all and not to mention there's was a strong smell of marijuanna usage for sure because of the look in her eyes and the loud smell when approaching the desk. Again customer service goes a long way for me and when my card was charged additional fees and no explanation i have a huge issue. This location is not a busy location and the minimum that could be given is outstanding customer service vs a weak experience . I'd never come to this location again , I'd rather use the mileage before I'm treated as if I'm a bother.

Your storage rental prices have increased drastically to absurd levels. I believe that my monthly rental rate had at least doubled from the time I first started leasing the smallest 5x5 storage unit(July 2021) at $35 per month,which in 2 years increased to $70 by November of 2023 . It is an insult to my intelligence that you would think I'd want to continue to rent that small of storage place at that price.Plus , I thought I was treated very rudely by your store office staff in just trying to exchange one of your moving boxes when it was found to be damaged after a purchase. You have earned nothing but bad "word of mouth" from me as far as storage rental services goes. I vacated my space away to a lower priced competitor just yesterday (1/11/24) and I am so relieved to be done with UHaul price extortion now.

Would really like access to cameras for periodic monitoring of my storage units. Monitoring would make it feel more secure and would be more likely to keep the units longer. Was difficult to keep the overhead lights on near my units, lack of working motion detection in that area. The staff was very helpful.

I did not put the lock on the door of the unit until three days after being assigned that unit. I received two (2) phone calls saying that there was not lock on the unit; this was the week AFTER I had put the lock on it. One of these calls, the second one was BEFORE 7 am which I did not appreciate. I then decided that since I had not put anything in the unit and did not need it after all, that I would go get the lock which I was told was not on the unit anyway and turn everything in. By this time, the code I had not longer worked so staff had to come and let me in so I could get the lock which WAS on the unit after all. I then turned in the lock, keys and paperwork. After all this, I will probably look for other storage options in the future.

This uhaul location didn't have all the material that we needed (appliance dolly) so they sent us to another location for the appliance dolly. The second location gave us a hard time getting the dolly. The storage unit that we were assigned at this location was already being used so we had to call and get another one reassigned to us to use, we waited about 30 min for someone to come and give us a new access card, a new unit, and a lock.

The staff will never answer the phone. Constantly had issues with the gate, with only the general customer service line to help because no staff would be present. Had issues cancelling my storage because they would never get back to me, even when reaching out during business hours. Mistakes were also made while writing the contract. We were directed to the wrong storage, which luckily didn't cause major issues, considering nobody would have known it was our stuff. Horribly, horribly managed.

Front office staff was not the best, but the storage facility was very well maintained. The man working the storage units was very kind and helpful. He was always attentive and keeping things clean and tidy. I wish he worked the front office.

The facility is above average in maintenance and cleanliness. Storage staff were friendly and helpful. Front desk staff were not as helpful - but once we figured out to ask the right questions to get checked in, this was an easy move. Wish front desk staff were more helpful; especially since this was our first time at any storage and we weren't clear on how to get checked in and assigned a unit. Front counter should make sure customers know the basics and not just assume everyone has done this before and often.

The man on duty was way over worked. He sure could have used some help. There were 6 customers in front of me when I came in. When I left 40 minutes later, there must have been a dozen.

door entry pad was open so I never moved in. Sat on hold with customer service and I go assigned a rental at a different location, but that one never gave me a unit number. I am extremely disappointed with uhaul storage.

I didn't need U-hauls service for very long, but when I did need help I got excellent assistance except for One time! The gentlemen I spoke to made me feel I was a bother to him. I did call him on it, he put me on hold, I thought he was going to leave there for a while, but he came back and thank goodness my needs were met with professionalism and respect!!!!

Access to facility, where it was, how to use, was not clearly explained to me at all. I had never used a U-haul storage facility, not at Millbrook or any other. The young man, who was friendly enough, originally told me, the lock and such should be inside my unit, when I had not even been assigned a unit yet. After he took all my info again, which most I had given online, he said he had "checked me in" and gave me my paperwork and told me I could go in through "either door". I had no idea where "either door was, where the facility was, and he was too busy to explain further. After finally finding my way, I go in and alarms sound when trying to access my unit. I go back to a very long line trying to "get to" this only person in the shop, which is about to close in an hour. I had already wasted an hour just trying to get to my storage unit!! So I just say to him, "alarm goes off every time I try to get into my unit", and he explains that "I have to check in" before going in to either door, which he had told me earlier that he had checked me in. It was confusing. When I went back another customer had experienced the same confusion, having to go back and clarify. Uhaul clearly needs more help at this facility during their office hours to help their customers navigate, especially their first-time customers, and to help the long lines!!

The first trip to the on-site at Atlantic took about two hours of waiting as the young lady didn't know how to complete my requests. Very frustrating so I left and took care of it online. She was pleasant but very distracted with everything else going on and not handling the person in front of her. Other people walked out, too. She tried but just didn't help much.

Kamesha Campbell made my experience above average. If it weren't for her, I probably would have rated the experience average. She went above and beyond to try and keep things running smoothly while she had five guests in the store and she was the only one working. She was able to help two guests at once and did it quite effectively despite one rude customer who was slowing things down.

Everything was great. Renting the Uhaul I had a computer mix up on drop off date but it was quickly fixed. The the move in to the storage from talking to the reservation personnel to the storage location personnel was excellent service was smooth. Loved my experience

Mom needed skilled-nursing after a fall. EVERYONE at Atlantic Ave was patient & supportive as we moved stuff from indep. living & storing a lot in the short-term. They offer CALM amidst the chaos.

After going to pickup reserved truck I was told to go to another location. I purchased both insurances and had to pay out of pocket for a tow that was in total 10 feet (extra $400)! and fee to clean!

Clean storage unit with easy access to it. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I liked that I got to pick the size I wanted for my free monthly rental. I would use Uhaul again for my storage.
