From not answering the phone during business hours to services that are stated to be provided somehow cannot be performed. Especially with such a reputable company like U-haul I would expect satisfactory at best. Some not all of the employees at this location will be the reason I will not be returning nor referring any business. Makes the company as a whole look bad in my opinion.

Already have to a freind in San Diego, who recommended to friends in Fairbanks and Arizona. While everyone was very good and friendly, the manager dude in Eugene OR and that logistics women who'd call often, as needed, were two OUTSTANDINGLY EXCELLENT employees to me and as representatives and sales team for UHaul. The last two years were full of obstacles, loss, and difficulties. Working w Uhaul for last 8 months was a charm. Thank you! Only recommendation is box pick up in Farmington, MI showed up 30 minutes early, could of been a problem, but truly wasn't. No leakage, no damage, no loss.

The front office was in organize when I came to return the truck an gentlemen told me to give the keys to an person whom was suppose to be outside an it wasn't. Then I went back in an you g lady told me to put the keys back in the truck. So this was Friday the 5th . They call Sunday the 7th to say the truck was not there. It got cleared but they need to get it together

DORIS BRIGGSThe staff at this location was very unprofessional and did not attend to the customers as they should. One of the ladies there was shouting to the back of the office to another employee asking what she had to eat and asked if she would bring her some. She was snacking on whatever she had at her desk and drinking her coffee. She answered the phone all while I was sitting there and put the customer on hold and told another employee the name of the caller and said they just kept calling and that they were getting on their nerves. Very unprofessional!!!! So my resvervation was for 12 noon and I asked for a 26 foot truck and when I got there the lady said they didn't have it and didn't try to help me find one at another location. Basically just told me that was old she had and just sat there didn't try to offer me anything for the inconvenience. So with the smaller truck I had to make two trips which caused me to use more miles than I wanted. So with all that being said….. I will NEVER use this location again and would not recommend this location to others.

They then Lied and said that the guy who cuts the locks off was gone. They were going to charge me $50 to cut off a lock they had put on my storage unit instead of finding the key to the lock they placed on there. Luckily I was able to work my charm on a male worker, and he really helped me out. I wouldn't have been able to access my stuff without him. He went above and beyond. He even found my old lock that was cut off inside my init. The rest of those people in that office truly are sorry but I get why they are where they are in life so hey. Glad I got my stuff and don't gotta deal with these slow people again.

Linda WalkerMy previous reservation was given to someone else even after I had confirmed the reservation. However, the previous location did not issue the $50 reservation guarantee credit to me. Secondly, I was given a truck with 3 miles range remaining on it. Additionally the truck was smelling of weed inside the occupant cabin area. For this inconvenience I was given only $50 refund. Since I did not received the promised $50 reservation guarantee amount, I consider this case not resolved and nobody is reaching out to me to resolve it. Extremely disappointed!!!

Joseph Thomas IVI rated it poor because I was treated with anger and disrespect by the young lady who checked me in to storage unit 2257. She set up roadblocks to keep me from getting a storage. It was Lauren who actually got me into the storage. Then the young lady tried to discourage me from taking out insurance. I insisted thinking this would prevent thief. It did not. Again my unit was compromised by thief. I'm very disappointed and feels violated that cloths and other items were taken. I would like to file a report so that cooperate will be aware that there is a lack of honesty and integrity within the U-haul organization.

She exemplifies customer service in it's perfection. Moving forward, I will only use this U-Haul branch and will highly recommend other to do the same. I use this location four years ago when I move from Detroit to Denver, I chose this location to continue to do business with when I decided to return to Detroit .The representatives were courteous, professional, friendly, and understanding, that it can be a bit much driving 17 miles running into hail and foggy weather. And I especially respected the way each Representative handle the conversation when calling another location and how that person on the other end responded to them. They seem happy to be working for U-Haul very good personalities on both sides of the phone. They were smiling, professional, and ready to serve one another needs for calling.

If you had that one even the late fees are higher within there other locations... They don't work with you if you can't pay your stuff is auctioned even if u pay all your fees for that you don't get anything back... Fake reviews also. Uhaul has these scam places beat I. The staff that worked there has horrible attitudes, very poor customer service skills, and lack the proper staffing and capabilities to effectively run the location for optimal business. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. If I ever need to rent a truck or use a storage facility, I'll drive in the complete opposite direction to get decent services, even if I lived next door to them. Overall rating, ZERO STARS!

She did not tell me I was to begin the process of moving out on the website. The day I moved out, the office attendant wasn't very helpful. She was disinterested and not professional at all. When she was asked about where I could find a dumpster, she had no information. There should be some information for customers as to where a dumpster is located. Very inconvenient.

There were times that I called and was put on hold for over an hour plus. And the day of my move which was Saturday December the 2nd I tried to get a truck and was told on the 1st and the second that telegraph didn't have any trucks available. I reserve the truck through the 800 number and there. There were several trucks in the whole parking lot when I pulled up other than that it wasn't okay experience.

The midage female that works in customer service has been rude and displayed very Lazy and no concern for customer care one too many times for me, she was the reason for my departure and the reason I will let others know that location don't show kindness towards their customers, not only have she show nasty disposition towards me, but I have heard others told about her Ghetto character and yet she still remain working at U-Haul and I'm sure you know who she is!!! So do you really care about the customer care or is this just routine rating? The location in Redford has Outstanding customer service and they were all young men!!! It was the day after Christmas when I was moved out of my storage unit, The office was closed on Christmas when I purchased my unit and I had questions before I moved in it. When I called up to the office I was rudely advised that if I didn't come put my lock on my unit they will close it out. I also advised the lady over the phone that I purchased the unit on Christmas and had questions before I moved in but I couldn't ask them because they had already moved me out. I was proceeded to be put on hold for over an hour. I went into the office to find out why I was moved out my storage unit they told me they didn't have a reason in the box and they I would have to get a whole new storage unit and pay for insurance again, so I asked for my money back and I was told they didn't do refunds and that I would have to call corporate. I called customer service and they told me that, that information was wrong and they are able to give a refund but by the store manager. She tried to contact the store and nobody answered the phone I had to walk in for her to speak to the employees that were scheduled. They told me she would give me a call within three days and I received a call on Monday regarding my refund. I spoke to the manager and gave her the information. I still haven't received my refund and I know with the card I used a refund should not take this long due to it not being a major bank.

They even sent it to my emergency contact (my mom) in the mail with her name. I called uhaul multiple times throughout that 3 week period to tell them to stop sending me notices and to finish my move out. all they could do is send a message to the manager of the store who clearly is either overworked or horrible at his job considering how long it took him to do anything about it. I was a loyal uhaul customer for all my multiple moves throughout the last couple of years but I will never be using uhaul again and will tell others of my experience.
