I took a truck that had barely an 1/8 th of a truck out. When I returned the truck it was over an 1/8/h of a tank. I was charged an additional rate. I find this unsatisfactory.

you double ordered my order on accident, told me many different dates and times about when my container would show up. It was way to small for the money you charged. Your systems need to communicate better from coast to coast. 2 outta 5 stars for sure

The management was Superior to any agency I ever been to, the facility was cleaner than the hospital, I am amazed at the human capacity that this location displayed and everybody who works at this facility deserves an award, they are more reliable to their word then church agencies and far superior in handling situations than any church agency I have dealt with. This facility deserves an award in every employee and management deserves a raise

Initially, the trailer was full of debris but the attendant got it cleaned up for me before leaving.

I left uhaul because I could never get a response to my complaints about my truck and transport rental. So I took my storage business elsewhere. As someone who had been in customer service for 20 years I believe communication is key. I reached out to U-Haul several times and my issue was never resolved.

The bathroom needs more attention! Cleaning is always essential. The storage unit was ok and met my needs! It should be prorated if you exit before the end of the month and left it clean!

This rating is because for 15 months we paid our storage & INSURANCE to protect our stuff. The storage next to ours leaked oil/gas under the wall & ruined so many items including some sentimental items that can't be replaced but our insurance didn't cover anything not my bed that was covered or any of my grandkids baby items or anything else, so I don't know why we have to pay for insurance....I would at least like my insurance payments back since it was money spent for no reason!

This location was nice but we only came here because the original truck we rented wasn't available at the location we chose so we had to go out of our way to come here. A little frustrating as our original plan would have only had us using the truck for about 2 miles.

I had a reservation at another location that was closer to where I needed the truck. This site was not able to connect to UHaul so they sent me to the other location. This added almost 22 miles to my reservation. The people were professional at each site, but my overall experience was a bit frustrated particularly as my guaranteed reservation was not actually accessible.

Got a 12 foot trailer. This trailer LOOKED dirty on the inside, but I'm not sure if it was stained. Normally the trailers have been very clean. I'm not at all unhappy. It served it's purpose and I got done what I needed to get done. Once again, all the staff (3) that I interacted with were very congenial and helpful. That is so rare everywhere nowadays it seems. Check out was FAAAST and check in was even faster.

I have to say the whole experience from start to finish was not good! Took a couple calls to get it set up to go to the right place.Then they were late dropping off the box .Then it was dropped in Athens Ga I call their like yeah its here after 2 calls.They say yeah you can get your stuff Thursday .Then the day before we go I get a text that my u-box at a totally different place oakwood ga.Okay then we get there in the morning at 9 am that's when they said we could get in the box.Then the nice girl working there tells us the manager who is the only one who could move the u-box won't be in until 10 am .The he was 15 minutes late then proceeded to wait on someone else who came in after us .I explained that we where not happy and he was very abrasive and became defensive towards me .I kept my temper walked outside as to not totally loss my mind. I just lost my father and got the pod to move my mom to Georgia. I really didn't need more stress!!!!I would love some of my money to be refunded but I know it won't happen .But I will never use uhaul again and I will tell everyone I know!!!

Despite my difficulties with a West Seattle U-haul location from which I had rented the vehicle, the staff at this location in Auburn were helpful to the point of checking in the vehicle and getting a clerk from the point of origin on the phone to discuss the misrepresentations had been made to me about return fees earlier in the day. The Auburn location did not resolve that issue, nor had they created it, but at least took some steps into looking into the situation and were professional and courteous.

When I picked up the truck I noticed the gas tank was 1/4 from being empty. I went inside and told the lady about it and she said "that's fine just bring it back with the same amount of gas when you received it" I even took pictures of the mileage and the quantity of gas before I left this location. When I returned the truck two days later and went home I thought everything was fine and dandy until I received the bill from Uhaul. They charged me for gas! And fees associated with gas! When that lady told me specifically to returned it with the same amount of gas when I received it. I don't know what kind of business they're running but I will not be returning as a regular customer for sure. Does Uhaul not check the gas tank before renting the trucks out to other customers? If so, match the amount gas when customers returned it!

Pathetic experience! U-Haul-Auburn ripped me off completely. I've always rented equipment from Home Depot and for the first time tried u haul. I am absolutely certain that it's also the last time. First they charged me for equipment (truck), then charged me a dollar for each mile and additionally charged me for fuel! On top of that they charged me an additional environment fee for an ancient truck that that was in the worst kept shape (I'm talking jammed gears, greasy ramp, noisy engine, 140K+ miles) and my wife and i could barely breathe as the truck reeked of weed! I rented the truck for an hour and half, drove it for 34 miles and paid a bomb for the worst experience ever.

I called the store And I guess was transferred to the All center. I was told at the time the store closed at 7 but the access was till 10 pm. I was excited because my help in unloading my truck lived in Olympia. So I told them to head up about 6pm thinking we would be done by 8 or 9 pm. I get to the store and start doing paperwork and checking in my transport. This was about 615. Then about 630 I'm done and the lady told me the acres was till 7 pm. Well I hurried and called my friends but they were already right down the road. So I had to leave my loaded truck at uhaul because I have no more money for gas and didn't want to drive it back to my house 15 miles away. My entire hour I could have unloaded was wasted by paperwork that I couldn't do online and the fact that we couldn't get my car off the transport. The girl at uhaul had to help and direct us. And it took 20-30 min. Which left me no time to unload Today I get to try and unload it with my disabled self and my very disabled 67 yr old mother. I don't think I have help. Because they came all the way up last night to help. Originally I was supposed to be able to return my equipment to this facility. Now I'm being told the lot is too full. Idk how I can move the truck off the facility to another place as it has no gas in it. This move took every penny I had. I am going to be driving on fumes in my own vehicle just to get down there today. I don't know that I will ever use uhaul to move again. I paid a lot of money upfront and has issues at the pick up with the truck being locked and me having to go back and forth to the store to get it unlocked. I mean that used mileage and gas. He only way this will be resolved for me is if uhaul waives any daily fees for truck and transport. And if uhaul puts gas in the truck for me to take somewhere else or keeps the truck at the north auburn location and doesn't charge me for gas

It took the man at this location 60mintues to try to locate my reservation and then problem solve how to get me a truck because he was not able to let me use the 15' truck for a one way trip. There was no 10' truck available. He sent me to another location, even further from my home after an hour of waiting. In total, it took 90minutes just to pick up a truck.

Guaranteed reservation was not ready at time of pickup. This location was chosen specifically because of the mobile pickup capability and the need for a truck before any locations opened on a Sunday morning. Upon return, the app wasn't loading so I did not complete online return. Employee took the keys and let me know the system was acting up.

The bag on the inside said it contained 6 large blankets/pads but there were only two. Wr didn't expect any so no big deal for us.

This facility is always very friendly and absolutely spotless inside and out. It is one of the nicest facilities you operate. I have been a customer several times for trucks for long distance and short distance moves. I've used the storage before and I am a current customer. It is such a friendly and well run facility

Our first truck was graffiti to all over the back and had a smile. when we mentioned it. We were immediately given a brand new rig and that rig was great.

I was originally booked 20 ft, while I get to the storage they told that 20ft truck is out of service and they can give me 15 ft instead which was smaller for my stuff. I was disappointed with service since I booked two days before.

Only problems I had was the hours of access to my unit during the week. I work 9am to 8 pm most day and there were times I needed to get access to my unit and could not. Access hours used to be longer on the week days and on weekends. I think they need to be later because most of us work and need the later times

I have used a fair amount of facilities in the area for my storage needs over the years and this facility is the only that did not get vandalized or broken into. My belongings were safe and I appreciate that. Should I have the need for storage in the future, I will return.

I've been using uhaul storage since 2019. Yes, I have too much crap and I saw the unit across from me was available so I called to see if I could reserve it. I was told yes... I received an email saying to pre-register, which I did but was assigned a different unit . I was disappointed that after talking talking to the agent no action was taken to reserve it.

I am giving good remarks, as I know the importance of a survey. Though I will say, when I reserved my unit, I expected to receive it. When I arrived, Uhaul loaded and help with me, I was told that my unit was given to someone else that morning. This was because someone did not read the notes. I will given two separate units to equal the same space. This was more then inconvenient. Just a heads up, ready the notes.

I was going to leave the question about recommending the facility unanswered, because i was undecided, but since you required an answer, I could not put yes. The survey's fault, NOT the facility's fault. VERY POORLY DESIGNED SURVEY!! Overall experience was good. Staff was helpful. We were there for over 7 years. The one bad thing we found when we went to move out was the skylight over our unit evidently leaked at some point and damaged a few boxes and contents. We were never called or notified when it occurred. Then repairs were made as there was a lot of sawdust on top of our boxes. That was our one issue and after having that happen, I would probably never use a storage unit with an open ceiling again. The other complaint I have is these survey texts. They came every hour. Incredibly annoying. Yes, you got me to respond sooner because I wanted them to stop, but I don't think that's the best was to leave a good impression.

This was supposed to be a 24 hr access facility back when I first used it. Then management changed hours without notice - I never could access it.

The move in process was confusing. When I first arrived I was told in my instructions to go straight to my unit. When I arrived and opened it, a loud alarm went off. The intercom to me to head to the office for a key card. Is this normal for everyone to go threw?? It should be clear. When I was moving all my stuff into the unit, there was glass and some sort of brown plastic everywhere in the unit and red ooze coming out of the rat box. I was terrified to touch it. I emailed about it and never got a response. I even went into the office once about it but there was no one up there for almost 20 minutes so I left. The reason I gave an average rating is because this was the cheapest place in a warm environment that I could keep all my belongings while I was homeless. The move out process didn't work on my phone so I headed to the front and waited another 20 minutes before I could get any help again. Will I do it again? Maybe. But improvements need to be made.

Unfortunately, I'm a victim from malicious and conniving people who Defrauded me from bad business practices, forcing me too move around while proving my accusations on such people. They have bribed employees from various companies to Aid & Abet, as to steal evidence I hold. U-Haul was no different, who had employees participate in the same bad business practices of my Defrauders. I do not hold the Company to any liability this caused, as it's the lack of integrity held by their employees. I suggest using your own heavy duty locks and not the one supplied, as there's always a way to get a duplicate key.

The one thing that was a BIG bummer was that I signed up for everything in person with a woman named Melissa. When I arrived a few days later to pick up my truck and walk to my unit, there was no reservation, and no storage unit under my name. The two wonderful people working that morning took great care of me, got me a truck and another unit.

The north Auburn storage was perfect and the staff were great. Please remove the south auburn storage shop from your toll free U-Haul center as they referred me to a store that's closing down and caused a lot of unneeded frustration. But keep your north Auburn store running as it was great

Very warm Inside when the tempeture outside is hot. Too hot to do much inside for too long! It's very hard to get ahold of anyone by phone your sent to call center at times spending 3o mins or more on hold.

There were some shady people that were your customers I'm sure you can't help that. We saw a possible grab and stash from a kid on another unlocked vehicle so I know that area is crime ridden.

U-haul made moving in and returning your truck the most memorable I was in a very bad situation they gave me a very good deal on a truck I ended up I ended up returning it A-day late and I did not charge me I Wasn't able to refill the gas tank but half way but half way and they were so understanding They made my life a little bit easier easier I want to put a thank you on everyone that helped my moving process yes better and manageable thank you to u-haul

Layla, Vicky, and Tanner were all a huge help! Uhaul corporate messed up our reservation at another location so we were sent to Auburn North where Layla and Vicky graciously cleaned up corporate's mess. I highly recommend this location.

The new management is crap. Would not let me make partial payments so I fell way behind when I could have been making payments every other week to get caught up. So I had to do a move out deal. They never answer the phone at this location. Have to go in to get the simple questions answered. I will never use uhaul storage again.

Our experience with the UHaul Supercenter Auburn team was absolutely positive and we heartily recommend them for anyone with a simple or a complicated move. The management and crew were beyond helpful, capable,and knowledgeable. We could not have proceeded through the stages of our large move without their knowing and watchful eyes. My partner and I were recognized by every staff member, and our move was fully tracked by management and staff throughout the entire process. I would not have had the trust to commit to the U-Box service without knowing that the management team would be on top of scheduling the boxes for packing, moving, and transport out of state. Their recent changes in storage area hours and rental policies effectively mitigated the impact of non-storage activities. I applaud the management team for their willingness to adapt the storage rental and facility policies to protect the safety of UHaul customers. Beyond the policies, they also carefully and consistently watch the security camera feeds, and maintain a strong presence with frequent walk throughs. Attention UHaul Corporate: UHaul SupercenterAuburn management and staff are a DREAM TEAM. Please continue tp provide them the autonomy they need to respond to any shifting challenges at this facility.

There was no lock in the locker so I had to go to the office to get it which makes the online move-in option worthless. It was also secured with a super strong zip-tie so someone from the office had to come out to break it for me. The limited access hours are a problem as I planned to organize my storage over the holiday but the office is closed so I can't access my storage on that day.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate me, even went as far as helping me unload a few items to get me out quicker because I had stayed a few minutes behind closing time to finish unloading and to drop off equipment.. Don't remember his name, wore a Scooby-Doo hat, but he deserves a raise!

The lock was not in my locker making the online ordering and check-in worthless because I still had to go to the office and speak to someone to get my lock. I already unloaded my car and went to the locker before I found out it wasn't there, so I had to leave my things unsecured to go to the office. I wasn't impressed with the attitudes of the people in the office who seemed annoyed I was asking them for the lock

My stories got broken into and I did the whole process that they provide you and at the end didn't help me with anything even with the insurance company couldn't do anything because I didn't have enough proof or receipts for my items I have stored away and and then expected me to pay rent for the following month so I decided not to pay them at all because I didn't feel that the next stuff I would to bring in would not be secure and so that they won't take no action for so I wouldn't recommend U-Haul at all to secure my stuff in storage since my unit was on the second floor with needing to have a U-Haul card to access building and elevators so how do you lose some big wheels that are Chrome and shiny with new tires and bunch of stuff and boxes leave the building without being noticed

James the manager is rude and picks and chooses whom he is nice too..he is big on stereotyping. Which isn't fair plus he makes decisions based on one sided stories isn't fair by any means. Then when His decision was made he left and went on vacation. That is not how you do or run a business. The facility ALWAYS has garbage and junk all thru out the parking lot. So if you got rid of him and another worker that works in the office then it would be ok...until then I give you 0 stars and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The best thing I loved about the storage facility is the security. The building was chilled just right. Sense I used the facility doing the height of the summer heat, it was a welcome relief to walk into that cool building. Anytime I had a issue the staff was always their to get it resolved.

I had to move out after 7pm and the main doors to the storage were closed at that time, which is out of business hours for U-Haul, but not for their customers. Here is the situation: using the lateral door is a pain on the neck because you have to make sure the load was perfectly fitted to cart's size, otherwise you need to find ways to make it fit. Also, the lateral door should be only used for emergency as opposite to operational door. It is very difficult to get out specially when you have to move multiple carts at the same time. Also, there was a time when a lady tried to use their card and we were 'stuck' outside the warehouse for 20 minutes... yes, it is a security mechanism for U-Haul and very insensitive for customers waiting outside. I was there at 8pm awaiting for the door to open, while the GM was enjoying time with his children at home !!! U-Haul you could do better at balancing your Pentagon-like mechanism with a more sensible customer focus approach.

The service was a bit wanting. The lady that took my details seemed like she was being rushed and had other places to be, even though my husband and I were the only cutomers there at the time. She took the form I filled in and botched all our names and contacts. Not sure whether she has a problem reading or just didn't like having us there. Anyway, I'm now going to have to correct all that in my next visit. Waste of time. The guy that showed us around though was awesome. He should get a raise.

I just rented this weekend. Been there twice but I did notice a lot of garbage at the front door that people just left. That is so disrespectful to u haul and there customers. Other than that the place is very clean.

Only issue i had was when i was going to unload stuff out of my truck onto a cart&take it inside to put in unit, but there was a young man inside the building that i wasnt sure about who he was or why he was standing there just inside the glass doors. I was alone, new to the place&at that moment, i was terrified So i just bagged it, decided i'd just wait until today&i left

And the no worries. 15 minutes later reservations were cancelled. Uhaul workers have no clue what they are doing. And they really don't care about people or helping anyone. They don't care about your needs. Please get people in that actually care. Please hire people that will do there job right !!!!

The place was very clean with a state of the state of the art security system. I love the security card and how it worked. I put my lock on the latch after closing the door but forgot to slide the latch to the closed position. When I used my card to check out, it indicated my door was opened. I went back and it looked okY but after further inspection to lock was in place but the holes didn't line up so the door could still be opened even with the lock on tbd latch. Thankful for the state of the art monitoring system. The place is very clean and very well kept. I would use this place again in a heart beat.

The facility is amazing, the service is great, the storage is easy to load and unload into. The only issue I ran into was accessing the storage unit later in the evening, since we finished packing all of our stuff and loading it onto the UHAUL truck in one day it took a long time to finish, I had to return the truck by midnight and was under the impression that the storage would be open later in the evening, not necessarily midnight but 10PM seems reasonable (realistically I should have checked but I assumed). But unfortunately it closed at 8PM which is really early and so instead of being able to return the truck in time, I had to wait until the storage unit was open in the morning to load all of our stuff into the unit and return the truck. Other than that, I absolutely love this storage unit and the service.

The facility is clean and very secure. The system alerted me that my door was still open when I used my access card to check out, not realizing I put the lock on but did not slide the bar to make sure the latch was secured. Thankful fo the system in place because other places don't have that feature.

Check in procedure seemed redundant. A lot of what they were filling out I already had completed online. Le personnel était amical et serviable. The price I ended up paying when I received the unit was $5 more than what my reservation stated. Nobody there had a definitive answer as to why. But, when you need a unit, and pretty much the whole center and town are booked up, you can't complain too much.

I'm so upset and my experience with uhaul was awful. First I had to be in the phone for an hour to talk to a real person. And they couldn't help me. Then they transferred me to some one who could help say in phone for another 45 mins. Person answered hello and click got disconnected. Called back and waiting again. Couldn't get a access code after we made reservations for a unit. And the lady that helped us talked so much about everything. Her husband finger got cut off. She went in and on about that. There were 8 to 9 people waiting. Some walked out. And out truck rental. A/C didn't work. Oh and a lot of problems. I don't complain ever. But worse experience ever.

I had an outstanding experience using this local storage service. I'm very happy with the unit we had and how secure, accessible, and pleasant it was. My interactions with the staff here were wonderful, and I think this manager is doing an excellent job. My only complaints are at the corporate level. My first is communication accessibility. The customer service experience by phone is at best frustrating and at worst a complete failure. There really needs to be a local number for clients to use to ask questions, report issues, etc. My second issue is with the current trailer/truck shortage. It is is ridiculous to allow people to make reservations for trucks/trailers when you know you will not have them available. I would not have been notified until 3 days prior to our move that we would not have a trailer, and then would have been forced to use pods. Thankfully, I heard of this shortage early and was able to buy one of the handful of remaining trailers in our area, but it sickens me to think of the many people who didn't get this heads-up and were forced to pay much more for pods at the last minute. That feels so shady. Either do what you need to do to get trailers and trucks back to the locations that need them (hire drivers/shipping?) OR offer customers a price match for the available services. Without proper notice, it's unreasonable to treat customers with such disregard. It would be wonderful for Uhaul to care enough about their reputation for customer service that they took care of their customers in this way. The other thing (which I think is really beyond your control) is the size of parking lot/difficulty of space to maneuver. This is something I know you're aware of. As it is, I would use this location again and again for the staff experience and facility experience I had. I will not be looking at U-Haul on the other end of our move, because I don't want to deal with the corporate practices of your company again.

Had to wait 30 min to be assisted,the u-haul rep that I had was in training The Manager that was on duty/site,had to assist The UHaul Rep,was told I'd have 24hr access,to my unit when I reserved my unit,I then asked again about my 24hr access to my unit and first month free,I had to call the reservation line as trying to reserve online wasn't happening as it wouldn't let me select what unit I was trying to reserve online. I also asked The Manager and The other UHaul Representative if I had to 24hr access again before signing payment receipt. I feel I should be give another month free,as I paid for asked and was told that I had 24hr access, otherwise I'll go to another location,a better price and a refund.

My family have been very stressed over the mortgage lending issues that have been going on. Because the closing date was pushed back, we had no clue what to do. Amber, she made our day. She took the stress out of our situation by being so nice and explaining everything about the process we felt so comfortable. Our family have never experienced anything like it. During one of the most stressful time of our life, Amber helped us get organized and took the stress out of our life. Thank you Amber, we really appreciate it. It was a great experience for two years! Enjoy it! Surprise everything was move out last Monday and of Course it was empty for couple days then literally came by Sunday to let them know I wanted to terminated my account on Sunday. I Literally didn't have the chance to check it for the the last time but I guess its was rented out right away so I didn't see it for the last time! But overall good experience would recommended in the future! Thanks for serving my stuff for the last two years!!

I would have given a 5 star review except for the fact that staff told me they have no lock removal help when I lost both sets of keys from the padlock I bought there, the day before I terminated my agreement with them, again I asked if they had staff that could help remove the padlock, staff said said yes, but for a $50 fee, I rented for 6 mos. , I ended up buying a lock picking set off amazon and was able to pick that piece of crap lock in two minutes, anyway, nice facility, but staff should help reach out to people who have issues such as this.

This has literally got to be the dumbest UHaul location I've ever met in my life. Not only did they never pay any attention but I flew over there and signed a piece of paper to close everything and donate my items. They continued for years after to tell me I was still being charged and the storage unit was still being held. They continued to call everyone I knew that they had a phone number for. I called so many times to clear it up until I could no longer deal with their stupidity. How the heck this place is still running with the same management, I do not know. Incompetence is putting it nicely.

Besides them breaking the contract every month. The units were okay. The groups of tweakers that shave and shower in the bathroom. The trash left everywhere on the loading dock and employees that refuse to be accountable for the company they work for. 10/10 would not recommend.
