You check in process sucks, the app.does not work and it takes to long. I am standing in front of a rep but I have to wait for approval from someone not in the location. Who thought of this shitty app and who approved it? Get rid of the app or fix it.

I reserved the truck on line on April 4, 2024 when i thought i could just go up the UHAUL place on saturday and show my ID and pay the fee that was told to me when I called to see if they would require a security deposit, but when I got there I had to wait and do everything over again. I dont understand why I reserved it and had to do everything again. Other than that the truck was in good condition.

Arrive much earlier than expected to complete the process which is somewhat inconvenient. Have an employee walk with you to truck to examine it and explain functions of truck. Not everyone knows what a truck has, features or even how to use ramps or remove dolly etc etc

The staff does not pay attention to the customer. They simply type in whatever is easier for them and dismiss the customers concerns. They get defensive when you voice your concerns and leave you standing at the counter to go talk to whoever is outside. It's s awful customer service.

The employee did the best he could but as all three computers malfunctioned and wouldn't work (the app wouldn't work either) 3 separate employees including a manager left him to deal with a dozen customers. Shame. I was there for 2 hours trying to rent a vehicle for a 250 mile move which was already stressful. To top it off I had to rearrange the trucks myself to get my truck from the lot. All this while an employee was "outside" working but nowhere to be found while the one employee was drowning inside without any help. I couldn't be more irritated with how this was handled. Totally understand IT issues but I wish this would be reviewed by a regional manager so they can review the tapes and see how this one employee did everything by himself. Not even doing this review for some type of financial benefit, I'll pay all the costs I don't care about the money.

Customer service was absolutely terrible. I also experienced racism. The truck had the visors broken off, the engine light was on, the truck would not change gears appropriately. The inside of the truck was dirty & had trash was left inside.

Have the truck ready to roll from a convenient location. Had to walk around the entire lot in the pouring rain to find it blocked in by another truck at the farthest corner of the lot. Took way too long, huge hassle getting reservation approved

These people are thieves we didn't get the insurance cause it wasn't necessary they took it as a green light to charge me 240 dollars for a mirror that I didn't not break they are the worse it doesn't make any sense. I guess that's how they get there money over there

The vehicle I drove was suitable for the few hours I requested it. The pricing was acceptable, and the young lady inside was cordial and amiable to all customers present for their rental. She managed the situation adeptly when more than 5 customers arrived simultaneously while she was working alone. The truck requires significant maintenance due to poor tire pressure and erratic gear changes. Maintenance is essential.

First and foremost, I have been a customer of Uhaul for many years. For the most part previous experiences were fair. However, when picking up my last rental from beginning to end, it was horrible. When I checked in to pick up the truck. I was told that I owed a parking ticket from three years ago. I was never informed or had a problem renting five times after that parking ticket. I always went in person to make the reservations and just as always this time I was supposedly ready to just pick up. This location was understaffed. How is it possible for one person to do absolutely everything ?? After two hours when I finally was able to get everything cleared, I was just given the keys and the receipt and afterwards was told to get the truck from the back of the lot. As I limped with my cane When finally finding the truck, there was another truck blocking it. The person that was there did what he could under those conditions. I will never go back and recommend that no one else does.

I've been a long, decades long, customer using your trucks for side hustles sometimes a few times a month. I've never had any real problems but this last time was .. . The last time. My reservation was not available. Then it was but not until 7 hours later. They couldn't find a replacement. The. They did but at a too far location. I requested this location because it was closer and I was familiar with it. Then didn't have my truck. Then they did. I did not receive the "$50 reservation guarantee" as advertised. I arrived. The truck was not ready I had to wait more. Then I was given a truck with low miles but MANY ISSUES. On issue did not become apparent until I had left the premises. On return I outlined them as prompted to at check in. Then I was charged for damages I DID NOT CAUSE! Called CS. Issue not resolved. Disrupted charge with my bank. Waiting final outcome. I'm done. No more Uhaul. Your new mobile check in check out system sucks.

I don't know the name of the young lady who checked me in but she was amazing. Normally they do one customer at a time and it takes forever. She literally handled three customers and phones all alone all at thr same time. Greatest experience ever.

The absolute worst experience ever. Waited over 7 hours and then still had to come back the next day and get the vehicle. The install job was poorly done and had to have another uhaul location fix everything the previous installer messed up. Had I tried to tow a trailer it most likely would have fallen off my truck because wasn't bolted on properly and missing some bolts. The bolts were totally loose and ready to fall off. It could have been a disaster had they actually been about to complete the job and rented me a trailer. I couldn't rent a trailer because they weren't able to install the wiring harness for the lights.

This place is horrible, the communication is horrible. I move to another state and and I requested to move out, I went to get my things out before my payment due date and they had a lock on it. I called soo many times, I sent messages, I went online with costumer service and nothing worked. I was charged for 2 months after my move out day and now I am receiving messages I that own almost 1 000 dollars. I have proof from all the times that I've try to contact this place and all the messages I've sent. Horrible

Using the app made the process easier. I definitely recommend completing everything before going to pick up the truck. There are many screens to go through and trying to do it at the store can be frustrating. If you complete everything beforehand, pickup will be easy.

I was misinformed in regard to billing charges. I had asked the clerk at the location if I was responsible to replenishing the fuel. The clerk said "NO", you are not responsible for adding fuel. I then ask to confirm, "so I am not responsible for gas/fuel, only the milage and flat rate of vehicle plus applicable tax", the clerk replied that is correct. I was charged 6 gallons of gas and I only drove 9 miles. Not only did I get charge for fuel that I was advised I would not be charged for but the over charged me literally 5 gallons as you only consume 1 gallon of gas to travel 9 miles. Not good service at location nor judgment of fuel consumption.

Instead of having employees sitting there doing nothing and making me do the entire checking in process, let them do it. They would do it faster and make it a more pleasant experience for the customer. Cut down the 15 to 20 minute process to less than 5.

The truck was given to me with the gas tank basically empty so i had to rush to the gas station right after I left the location, the lock key was not with the truck key when i got to my moving location i couldn't open the back because of it, so i called the truck rental location the lady told me to go back to grab a key to open it , i said im very far for this she simply shut the phone on my face, thats very disrespectful after all they don't do anything else but to give us the keys we do all the rental application by ourselves on the phone, a very high lack of attention, sad.

The employee didn't make it to work until almost 10AM. It took an hour to get our truck. The lady before me said that she was suppose to pick up a truck the night before, but no keys were left. Another customer mentioned the same thing. There was no where to park because of all the vehicles in the way. This store is known for it's horrible customer service, but it was the only one who had the size truck we needed. GET NEW EMPLOYEES IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE HAVING A BUSINESS.

No one was available at the time of arrival to assist with pickup. Was an hour late than normally reserved due to the process. At the time of return , no notice on how to do the process . The manager just said to do it online with no actual instructions. Terrible service, wouldn't recommend.

This U-haul facility is very clean, stocked and very well organized. Upon entering the lobby of the office location, the visual display and neat organization of items, were very impressive. Extremely noteworthy also is the actual visual of storage unit sizes, relative to their projected measurements. Such visuals were unique and extremely helpful in the decision/selection process for this customer. It also made the whole process very expedient. Such was the case during my first encounter of reservation. The male [I can't recall his name] was very professional, but could have been more cordial; however, the process was seamless. Noteworthy also was how quickly he responded to other callers, notifying them of a brief hold, while completing my transaction in a timely manner. The storage facility was extremely clean, and the entry & exit protocols were also extremely satisfactory. The storage unit's alarm system provided great peace of mind. Nathaly, I must say is an awesome Supervisor. During my first encounter with her, not knowing her position, I was very impressed with her customer service skills as well--very personable, cordial, courteous, awesomely pleasant personality. She went above and beyond. These were just a few of the many attributes she personified, before I discovered she was the supervisor. Overall, beyond the snafu and misinformation, not caused by this facilit, I'm extremely pleased with the service I received at this Uhaul. Thank you!

Easily accessible relative to parking; huge, clean building; safe looking environment. Office clean and well organized; visually appealing and provides a unique, visual in store view of units' actual sizes, which speeds up the decision and booking process. Extremely courteous staff and excellent customer service. Mindful of attending to customers while fielding phone calls, without the long wait time for both instore and phone callers.

This place is full of thieves when another tenant stole something a year ago nothing was done. Any issue I've ever had was never resolved and when I try to call I'm on hold for 20 min plus, if you look at my profile I have spoken to customer service on numerous occasions. Plus once my things were sold they told me that it wasn't worth anything. I had a brand new Queen sized bed and the frame. Someone is using the tv that was stored in that facility, activity popped up on my Netflix account. The Newark location has some nerve to still send me a bill when I KNOW things of value were in my unit. Jordan's, purses, artwork, pillow top mattress in plastic.

Todas las veces que usado la compañía nunca he tenido ningún problemas,hasta el día de ayer ..cuando me hicieron el cobro final, me cobraron $550 cuando en realidad mi factura debió de ser $120 dollar., me acusaron que el vehículo tenía un choque en la puerta., Gracias a que de costumbre tomó fotos del vehículo a la hora de entrega y entregarlo Asi pude probar que yo no choqué el cargo van. Aun estoy en espera un día más por mi reembolso de mi dinero el cual sigue un día más pendiente…….. me ha ocasionado problema en mi cuenta bancarias para pagar mis demás facturas….. recomiendo a todo el que lea esto que se proteja tomando fiscos siempre….

What a horrible wait time and management. I vê been receiving phone calls and voicemails even though I check out this storage on the last month that was giving to me as courtesy. The young lady at the front desk told me that all I needed was to return my card and nothing else that it will be close that same day. Apparently she is mistaken or just didn't care being that she was busy! I'm going through a lot at this time in my life reason why I choose not answer! The facility always appeared short staff and there was always a line. Never felt like the employees knew how to answer questions properly and always had to reach out to the manager. Also, didn't appreciate that mid way through my rental the price was increased from what I was originally told and this was an inconvenience considering there was no forewarning. Lastly, this facility is way too expensive; there are other facilities in the area with cheaper prices.

Due to the pandemic I could no longer afford the space otherwise I would never left. The staff from the office to the cleaning staff were amazing. Security is the upmost love it. Clean hallways. , entrance , moving carts , elevators and the staff always clean uniforms were always a site to see. Thank you. I always use U-haul for all my needs. I had a Ubox rental with this location. The same day I packed my unit, I noticed the unit was damaged. (The front panel was missing screws leaving my items exposed.) I immediately brought it to their attention and was told that my unit would be repaired. Three (3) days later I called to try and have my Ubox shipped to me and there was no record of them housing my things. My unit was shown to have been not only empty but ready for the next customer's use. Only to find out the location had my name filed with the wrong reservation number. After no avail with customer service (because the location never answered the phone nor returned my calls) I had to physically return to the location to resolve the issues. After ONLY 10 DAYS of using their less than adequate services, I was forced to remove all of my items from this facility. The Ubox was NOT repaired and without explanation or resolve from the facilities discrepancies I had to take my business elsewhere. After all the hassle I was still charged full price for a service I couldn't even use due to mishaps on this locations behalf and no fault of my own. I will NOT recommend this location to anyone nor use their services again!

The facilities were great, new, and really clean. The only reason I rented here was because I needed 24 hour access. Well it's currently 230am and I need to get into my unit and the woman at the front desk didn't add the 24hour access into my account so now I'm our here in the cold and can't get in! I called customer service and it can only be added in site. Well I need to be on a flight by 9am tomorrow and the office doesn't open until 9am. You really screwed me!!!
