It was overall good experience. I stored my belongings there for 5years. The rates did rise, what seemed to be every 6mos one year.

The reason that it is average was before. I had the same Uhaul storage. But they didn't raise prices on me. And I could get in basically anytime 24hours a day. Now it is still 24 hours a day but the rules change you cannot get in unless the office is open. I think that the ceo of Uhaul is made the system whack and there is no peace of mind in anything Uhaul now!!!

I would definitely consider uhaul storage again but not this facility. Uhaul customer service helped me choose the facility over the phone. The office is off site and that is not convenient. Several times the doors would get locked early. Everytime I tried to use the drive in area it was padlocked. The unit itself was good and most staff were helpful but not a good setup and not helpful when the big door was locked during stated open hours. I have used better storage facilities. The best have a large drive in area that can fit a moving truck or truck and trailer.

Wow! I had an attitude towards the worker who was calm and friendly, I was NOT. James verified closing my unit out super quick and I am very pleased with the overall quality. Diana super helpful at the self storage facility and I would use the Parkland Uhaul again, if they would forgive me my last day, I was stressed but it worked out! Thanks James!!!

I like the facility and the ability to move my items in. Access into the facility with my card was a little confusing but once I figured it out, I appreciated using the card. The single entrance in the front with my unit in the back was very inconvenient as it was just myself unloading a 6x12. Having the unit so far away took me longer than I wanted but having the dollies readily available allowed me to move my items from the trailer into the unit with ease.

I really appreciate the time the staff gave me to collect my belongings. Most of the items were sentimental- photos, letters, pet cremation ashes and just things that were valuable to me for sentimental reasons. I'm glad I have them back. Merci.

When I got to the facility they couldn't find my reservation. The rep was able to find me another unit. They unit is located really far from the only sliding door to unload and load your stuff. So I'm pretty upset about that when the unit I had previously reserved was close to the door. And there is a homeless camp next to the parking lot which made us feel completely unsafe and we had to keep locking the truck every time we had to take a load. There is only 1 cart and 1 mattress cart available for use which is really inconvenient.

Wish the gate for the outdoor storage was 24hr access. In the span of 3 months I used the facility, the gate did not get repaired and it was very inconvenient to access my storage as I worked a 9 - 5 and the hours for the access were 9 - 4. Otherwise it was a great facility, clean, organized and the staff were very helpful.

I Have in the past used Storages. by far this Unit is the best of all. The facility is well lit and has excellent Security. Had no problems entering or exiting. The lighting was geat, and to top it off it has moving carts, very spacious just Perfect. will recommend anyone. Thanks U-Haul!!

The access hours advertised aren't the actual access hours. The Ubox ramp is setup at the entry point of the gates which makes it impossible for anyone to leave or enter the facility when a truck is being loaded. The advertised description of the storage units is completely different from what they actually are.

Me being military and far away it was hard to get anyone to unload the storage myself, so I flew in during my military service time and removed the items into the Ubox. The staff was very helpful and really went beyond what was needed. I appreciate the help.

Staff always was helpful, the computer system could be faster for customers. A few times we went in the computer system was running slower than normal, and the picture taking was a little slow too. But the staff were always accommodating so it didn't matter to me but it did make the wait there a little long.

I was targeted because of my race. I was called a loiterer even though I had purpose and was up to date in payment. I was retaliated against any time I made a complaint. The only good that I experienced was dealing with Sarah the GM supervisor in the finalizing and terminating of of my business with U-Haul. She restored the time and date of move out which Sarah tried to screw on and she returned my last month rental payment. Most other interaction were of a abusive nature poor quality.

Waited outside the business for two hours after going to the main office on 96th St so that I could access my belongings during the business hours that are clearly posted on the building. Very unhappy with the lack of service.

I once forgot to lock my unit properly and promptly received a call from security that it was not secured. Easy access with ramps and parking as well as transport carts st the storage facility.

The office staff was very helpful, and when the young lady was having some trouble with the computer the other gentleman showed her what to do to fix it, and also helped her to correct the amount we were needing to pay..because it had been showing her for us paying for a 2 months unit rental when we were only needing to pay one month. And again the gentleman helped her out very nicely and respectfully and got that issue resolved quickly and then we paid for our unit got our cards and then we were on our way.

Hours of operation were a bit inconvenient, but I can understand due to security reasons. The entry without a pin number is a little dangerous. Anyone can find or steal someone's card and simply enter the facility. I am a physical security expert and that is not a good security practice at all.

I really appreciate uhaul because I had some really bad things that happened while having my storage besides Covid19 death homelessness ect. And I couldn't pay my rent and instead of not caring and auctioning my thing they held my thing tried all options to get me back on track . Last thing was the option to move out with out Consequence during business hrs. So thank you uhaul and especially employee's and management on 99th Pacific. Yall give the customer the opportunity to hold on to their things as long as communication is kept.

I was shocked day of move from Ocean Shores to Tacoma the Spanaway location where I had rented a 20x15 ft unit fir $200+ a month had moved me to your location without a text message to me. Gas spent to drive the 1/2 loaded truck to Spanaway, then being told to go to Pacific and 94th was very upsetting and no I am sorry. The unit they gave me is 15x10 at the same price. Not cool, should have been less. You folks off of Pacific were very helpful and appreciate your kindness and would recommend to anyone.

I like everything accept the storage unit access hours. It should be accessible later than just the office hours of operation. It makes it really hard for me to access my unit because I work as well and often can't make it there before it's closed.

Manager was rude. Been with uhaul over a year, price has increased 4 times since I moved in. The fact that uhaul doesn't prorate is asinine. I will NEVER rent from y'all again and have already been in contact with the Washington attorney general's office.

My moving experience was horrible. I was not told that there was not 24 access. NotI could add this feature. I was limited time. I had to rent a truck for a second day.while I was on hold with your customer service, I heard of a rent a storage you get a free truck rental. I asked about it and was denied. False advertising.so no I was not happy with my moving experience. it delayed me a whole Nother day cost me a whole Nother day with my rental yes not happy thank you very much

First we called and they scheduled us for the wrong date and wrong truck size. The next person we talked to was helpful and fixed the issue. We didn't know until 3 days before where we were going to pick up our truck. We were never told we needed to call ahead to reserve our storage unit. When I called to find out where it was the person online double booked us so when we showed up for the storage unit we did not have one. The Uhaul store tried to accommodate us but said they only had a 5x10 unit. I asked 3 times will that fit a 26' truck. The response was " Maybe I don't know what your stuff looks like but the examples are over there. So I open the door to the 10x5 and see a large room so we think the stuff will fit. We sign for the room and drive to the unit and it's half the size. I call Uhaul and say the unit is not the one they showed us. She explained how the example room worked it was only from the door back ( it would have been nice to know that ahead of time). I told the girl on the phone we have a 26' truck this is too small. She said yeah that is too small for that size truck 臘‍♀️ After going back and forth with Uhaul for 3 hours we went somewhere else for our storage. Then when we turned the truck in we filled the gas tank to where it was when we picked it up 3/4 full and they still charged us for gas . Would definitely not recommend Uhaul.

A thousand percent NO. I rarely write negative reviews, seeking to focus on the positive, but this one definitely needs it -- customers should avoid. First, the good: the employees (other than the surly manager) are nice. Plenty of carts. No evidence of infestation, and each unit has a rat trap box. Halls/units are not filthy but not clean, either. I added one star for these. The bad: the area is sketchy, to put it mildly. The area isn't enclosed by a fence, so it's open season on your stuff, and you shouldn't leave anything unlocked or alone for even a moment. We were approached several times by unsavory characters who seem to circle the place, one even asking if our bike was available to take. The facility is in two locations, so you have to go several blocks away for the office when your card key is disabled (and in the two times we were there, our two cards were disabled three times) because no one answered the call button to help. They rarely answer the phone, and the web lists two different numbers that both roll over to U-Haul's main line after five rings, so good luck with that. It's just far away enough, and the neighborhood sketchy enough, that you will have to close up your truck, secure your belongings again, and drive to the office location if you need to talk to anyone in person, and you will. You'll see on online reviews that they have a strict policy not to let anyone else in the units. Makes good sense, but what I didn't expect was that people try to linger and get into the units all day long, so it's like arming up for battle. Sometimes it's just sketchy customers (seems like there are quite a few people basically living out of these units), sometimes it's vagrants. Hard to tell. To add to the experience, a random alarm on the building goes off every so often. If you have any garbage from your move, don't bother looking for a trash can. They removed all the trash receptacles after an unnamed "incident" a while ago. This means people are liable to leave stuff behind and encourages litter that the staff then have to remove. Our storage unit had an almost inoperable door. Neither my very strong partner nor I couldn't open the twisted up latch alone, but if we stepped on the bottom of the door in two places at once, we could open it. The access hours suck too. On moving in day, we were automatically locked out of the building with only a bike and acouple boxes when the office closed at 5 on Sun. This meant one of us needed to rush down to the office to find someone to let us in, and one of us had to guard the bike (see above). The ugly: even with all these problems, we figured it was free for a month with our truck rental, and we were kind of desperate. We were planning to move to a better place at the end of the month after we got the rest of our stuff from out of state, but I realized that when we rented the second U-Haul truck, it also came with a free month of storage, so I called (trying several days before getting through) to see if we could keep the same unit. The manager refused to allow this, saying we needed to move into another unit, but said there was one of the same size nearby. A complete PITA, but I figure this was U-Haul policy, not the manager's policy. (If it is not, then she should be disciplined for making things difficult for people.) When we arrived with all the rest of our stuff, it turned out there was NOT a unit nearby, only one in the building several blocks away. Because of the unsafe location, that would mean we would have to unload our truck full of out of state belongings into the new unit in the different building, completely load the truck with the belongings in the old unit, remove all of the out of state belongings we had just loaded into the new unit because we would need to access those first, load the old unit's belongings, then load the out of state belongings in the front. I tried to explain this to the manager, but she claimed she could not understand why this would be a problem and refused to consider an exception to the policy to allow us to stay. If she had allowed this, U-Haul would have had a storage customer for 2+ years, even in this sketchy neighborhood, because it is so inconvenient to move. But since she refused and was extremely unpleasant, we decided on the spot to move to another, safer, cleaner storage place not owned by U-Haul and forfeit our free month of storage. This made our move all the more complicated and laborious, but we're glad we were able to GTFO of there. And the cherry on top: the last day, as we were trying to check out after hours (and failing because of U-Haul's error that said we had dropped off our truck in Texas), we had to chase off someone going from truck to truck trying to break in, and our truck didn't come with a chain lock so we had to sacrifice our own. We still don't know if they officially received truck, since no one contacted us, as requested. Horrible place.

Where do I even begin... I had to sign up online for contactless register, then I get to the building and I have to fill out the same exact information as I did online just because you needed a hard copy too. Then the information I provided wasn't enough, my phone number for example, you need another one to contact me, I don't have another number so I give one to where I can be reached and because they live with me and are on the paper as a person for emergency and to have access there number doesn't work either. Once completed, I went to get my truck loaded to bring back to the unit we just rented, key card doesn't work, well that's because she failed to tell us that the storage units were at a different location. Once we got in, the unit was much smaller than we expected and had a rat trap in it and tried to call to see if there was a bigger one available, sat on the phone with customer service for over an hour as no one at the store answered the phone and we were transferred there. She found us another unit but wasn't able to give us a unit number says its in an email we should have received, which we never got, then told we need to go to the storage office and they can get it, only to find out they are now closed and we cant until tomorrow. We ended up up canceling it all together and wont be back.

Where do I even start. I filled out the paperwork online for my reservation for contactless, just to have to do it again when I got there, what's the point of contactless if I have to do it twice just because you need it twice, print it? Then I had to have multiple phone numbers, for example and I only have 1 number but I wasn't allowed to repeat it, So I gave another number I could be reached if needed and that was also my emergency contact but the system wouldn't let me use that number twice either. Then once completed I left and came back with my load to store and card wasn't working, well she failed to tell me that my unit was down the street at another location. Got to my unit and there was a rat trap in it and it was smaller than what I was expecting, so we called to see if there was another unit available that would work and no one at the store answered the phone. We were redirected to customer service, got another unit but didn't give us a unit number, said it was in the email received which we never received, sat on hold for an hour, to talk to no one because it was after hours now and we would have to wait for the store to open to get then info and sign a new contract with all the info I had already received. We are canceling it all together. THIS WAS AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE AND PROBABLY WONT USE UHAUL STORAGE AGAIN.

While the workers were great the experience was not. I reserved a 10x15 climate controlled unit about a month in advance. I showed up 2 days earlier to see if everything was good and was told it was. On the move in date, I was told there was No 10x15 units. The staff said they would give me a 5x10 and a 10x10 for the same price so I was fine with that. Then I go to put things inside the units and the 5x10 is good but the other unit was not a 10x10 and was occupied. So then the staff said all they had was an 8x10, which I said I will see if that can work. I feel I should get more off my rent since I still didn't get the amount of space I reserved. Also everytime I open the 8x10 the alarm goes off. I called and it was supposed to be changed but it went off the next 2 days. It might sound like I'm complaining but overall I'm good. I do feel I should get a reduction in my rate for not being whole and I believe the staff are doing a good job.

I'm very disabled I'm in a wheelchair I arrived on the 5th at 4 pm wanting to get access my unit. No One would answer the phone or at the kiosk. The security code I was given kept saying unregistered. I'm very disappointed that such a large company my family grew up using to move from place to place as a child is now so unresponsive.

The hours were very inconvenient due to COVID. Otherwise, except for the waits in the busy office, it was a good storage unit. They also had a community share space before COVID that I used often. I missed it on my move out day as I had many good things I no longer needed.

Tisha and Erin from the UHAUL Office in Auburn was very informative and patient with my questions and found the information what I was looking for. When I got to the 96th and Pac Ave Uhaul site I was greeted by Kathlyn who amazed me with promptness and polite conversation. I got a map for the 92nd and Pac. Ave where my storage site is and out the door within 20 mins.while there were approximately 4 other customers in line. Totally professional on a busy sunny Saturday afternoon. Thank you staff online and in person!

I rented it because it was 24 hour access but then it wasn't 24-hour access they locked it up at 7pm that's way too early. Also the price goes up during a pandemic. Thats so wrong of uhaul to do. I will never rent a storage from uhaul again. Ty

I was evicted because you said i let somebody in. Its not my fault you guys allow the crowd thats there in front of your storage. As a customer i couldnt walk in without somebody rushing in behind me before the doors closed. You dont pay me for security. Thats your job. And you evicted me because of your poor service and lack of security. On top of all that i signed a contract saying after 3 months i would get a later time to go in my storage unit. You completely ignored that even though it was on the contract. You left me a letter saying i breached our contract when in fact you facilty breached the contract. I have never in my life dealt with such poor service from a storage unit facility. I will indeed be leaving reviews across all platforms for you. I hope in the future you will provide better service for your customers

I had what looked like insulation all over my stuff. I informed the office, showed them pictures and gave them a chunk of it, but never heard anything about it afterwards. Otherwise everything was pretty good. It was a bit complicated to get into the facility. Changing to the key card helped but I only needed it for a few more days after I got it.

When i called the actual store everytime no matter the time of day no one picked up i always got transferred to the uhual call center and tje one time I was late to pay you guys you were quick to lock it up but not quick to take it off i had to go and ask then the store made me wait like 25 mins before they removed it and the girls were rude when I asked id they could just go down right away so I didnt have to wait and told me that I had to wait all rude like my stuff aunt important im telling everyone not to go to parkland storage unless they want to be treated rudely

First off you should not call yourself 24/7 storage when I. Reality if we want 24/7 accress it costs extra. Second , my girlfriend was parked I. The parking lot and one of the U-Haul staff drive up to her car and said if I see your car parked here again wihoit you in it I will have you towed and before she could even open her mouth he drove off. He was confrontational And very argumentative and rude. It was not nessasary to approach her in such a tone of voice. We understand not wanting her to leave her car parked there but all he needed to so was ask.her not to and not be so confrontational. He was acting like she was a criminal and we won't ever deal with u haul again as long as there are people who treat others in such a manner. Unproffesional and not nessasary. Whomever is i. Charge if that site.in the evenings needs to be knocked down a few notches. He is rude and a power hungry little man

Need better communication for those who rent online. Had no idea that there are two separate security boxes one to open the door to the facility and a second to disable the alarm for the unit.

My family couldn't get into our storage unit when we reserved it. They didn't let us in for three days, but by then our Uhaul truck and all of our stuff was stolen.

Other than the restroom in there having trash it was clean, only other thing I could recommend is after people leave giving them money back based on how long they were there.

make note that some tenants use it as a "Rest Stop" . I am self employed and work all over the Puget Sound Region. The 24 hr access is great... I have heard Snoring, Tenants Probably Homeless ,

Staff misrepresented the terms of our contact. When we pointed that out to them & they realized they couldn't do what they promised, they blamed us and charged many late fees. Situation was escalated.
