chris mI was informed due to an equipment malfunction that cost me 3 hours of time was not gonna cost me. After I returned the trailer used I was charged an additional fee for "an extra day" even though on a phone call that was supposed to be waived. I will not be using any U-Haul in the future. The employee who called me left a very unprofessional message.

Jillian SNot specifically related to this location, but when I was handed receipt I was surprised to be charged an $30. Apparently, when the woman on the phone took my reservation, she neglected to mention that my charges would not just include $84 for truck, $5 environmental fee(not sure what this actually goes to), plus taxes, but also a $40 fuel charge for a different drop off location. This would've changed my plans if she would've mentioned that additional charge. That should be made clear so customers are not surprised with additional charges
Dave LThe online app was pretty bad. Wouldn't let my cell phone connect to the location. The workers there told me it never works. So spent a bunch of time loading all my info onto the app, but since it didn't work when I got there. Had ti do it all over again once I got there.

DANIEL WThey overcharged me. I had a two day rental and returned it before the end of the first day. When I went to return it at 4:50pm they had closed their doors early. I saw them inside and they came out and told me to put the key in the overnight box. I asked them if I would be reimbursed for the day I did not use and they said yes, of course. They neither reimbursed the second day, nor the miles not used compared to the figure I was pre-charged for (35/50). I like UHaul, but closing early and then not reimbursing what you agree to is a reason to avoid this location moving forward.

Edgar BI booked for 30 miles and used 13 miles. still charged for 30 miles. The tank was 1/4 i returned it a mince under that and was charged $30 bucks. $4 would have put that truck right back. A $45 usage had cost me$113. rip off!

Erin PHitch was originally installed and wired 11/17/23 # 214343318...Wiring was incorrect and proper testing of the wiring was not completed...the day I was supposed to pick up open trailer we discovered lights were not working properly. I had to go back to 10 Mile U Haul and have them fix it...delaying my departure...Service was corrected and completed. I was not told by service rep that I was going to be charged additionally for the Uhaul mistake. I demand a refund!!!

Robert TService was extremely slow. The enclosed trailer was leased with the previous clients LOCKED padlock on the door. I had to get bolt cutters to open the trailer door before loading. I was driving across the border & the trailer had a temporary paper licence / registration. It caused some difficulty at customs.

Hiroko mThe location and customer services at the location was great. However, I was provided a truck with a bald inner tire on the passenger side. This tire did not have any tread and all you could see was white strings from wear and tear. Another driver on the highway alerted me to the condition of the tire and stated it looked like it was going to fly off the truck. This could have been an extremely dangerous situation for me and other drivers. I had to immediately pull over on the side of the road and get roadside service.
Linda WThis location helped fix what was a mess of a process. I setup a one way rental and picked a location near where I needed it. We arrived at 7am, the truck was there, but I could not access the keys (app problem, said no equipment associated with my order). We ended up getting the truck about 1,5 hours late, put a lot of pressure on our move.

Dana M | Premières impressionsI think I would have had a better experience if you all actually employed people that cared from the vice president all the way down to the management at 10 Mile and Dequindre sorry if honesty offends people but just because you own something doesn't make you God and the 10 Mile and Dequindre facility was overrun with laziness roaches filth and people living out of the storage units not to mention the people that work there using gasoline powered blowers that are illegal in Michigan stinking up the whole facility like gasoline I can go on but it doesn't matter because I'm out of the facility and I wouldn't recommend 10 Mile and Dequindre to nobody not for the headache that I went through for the amount of money that I had to spend on re cleaning everything yeah U-Haul should be reimbursing me and thanking a person like me for pointing out a lot of the trouble in that facility

His response was "IT IS WHAT IT IS". I contacted David Miller after the poor interaction with the shift manager and David was kind and sympathetic. I appreciate that but the way the manager handled my complaint was unprofessional. It wasn't just the comment, it was his overall handling of situation. Sorry but I will look elsewhere in the future. Other than that..the unit size and availability was satisfactory.

felicia l | Expérience généraleThe experience was great until I broke my key in the lock. I don't know why the lock wouldn't open. The policies caused me to have to go back and forth and take off of work to get the situation handled. A lot of the visits I was waiting for nothing because nothing could be done. I ended up paying for 2 additional months of storage than I needed. Finally things started to progress. However I got a lot for fees. I stressed heavily over this. I didn't have access for 3 months to things that I really needed or wanted. That money felt waisted. In the very end I ended speaking with an employee who was more that helpful. She called all parties needed and brought things to a swift and smooth end and I didn't have to pay for the 3rd month of the drama or the month I was heading into. Simply a close out fee. Once there to close my account. Systems were of course down and I waited around for an hour so I end up settling this whole thing for Zero dollars. Which I'm grateful for. During my move out however I did get locked out of the building with my things still in the garage. The after hours help did not answer but customer service pulled through. I am so relieved not to have to use them again. It was traumatic for me in the end but before hand it was ideal. All of the employees we kind. Even if they couldn't be helpful, they were still respectful I almost wanted to apply to work there in that atmosphere.

Macomb storage is way better than your location I would never ever recommend this storage not even to a homeless person.
