Long waits in line. I feel that the brakes on the truck that I rented need attention, noisy. The engine runs very ruff on low speed acceleration. Everything else was good. Once you reach the counter you receive good service.

Contracted for same day delivery. Received no phone call to let me know that the delivery would be delayed to the next day. I'm upset that I paid a premium price for same day delivery and then receiving it the following day and not to mention that I had workers awaiting delivery so I had to send them home with partial payment. All in all, terrible service. NEVER AGAIN!!!

When I entered to the store the two employees were talkig to each other and no one greet me. I said hi still they were talking. The lady shawna was not friendly. She was serving me and at the same time talking to her coworker about a senario happened to one of their employee. She gave me my receipt and didn't say anything like thank you or you are good to go. The car itself was not clean. The front bumper of the car was broken. None of the emoloyees in this location where friendly. Shawna never said anything while giving me back the receipts on picking up the car or returning it as like "you are good to go or thank you have a good day". This was my very first time taking U-Haul and it was not a good experience at all. I would never go back to that location. Poor customer service.

On my very first day I had a poor response from the manager after reaching out to him for assistance. He still has not responded. This is very unprofessional and I've been waiting days for a reply. I was unable to access my 2 units after hours and it was very inconvenient. I had to spend time the next day moving my belongings when the manager simply needed to reply to my text. There is a sign outside the facility with his cell on it for after hours support. It's meaningless if no one responds. I texted him I waited 15 minutes for a reply, and I'm still waiting! This level of apathy is unsettling. I'm very disappointed.

The equipment felt and it seemed it was the towing correctly. The trailer would jerk, they should check the trailer; it did not feel safe. I rent from uhaul often, so I know how it should be.

First thing i got in and saw a check engine light, I drove this truck 3 miles and it was overheated. Then I looked into the radiator and there was no water or any fluid in it. Then when i returned the truck the key drop off at this location is not very visible. Should be labeled better.. i would suggest you don't give out a truck that's overheating. Luckily i only drove it 20 miles

One of the worst experiences I have ever had renting a storage unit. Save yourself and go somewhere else! Employees have no idea what they are doing and when you bring up your concerns with Juan, the manager if you can even reach him, he doesn't acknowledge you or do anything about it. Extremely unprofessional l, unresponsive, messes up reservations, the list goes on. On top of that doors were broken for 5+ months so transient people were walking in and out of the facility making it feel very unsafe. Do yourself a favor and rent at Extrage Sorage or literally anywhere else but this location.

Shawna was great with getting us set up and gave a recommendation which was very helpful in response to our questions. The only issue was the app doesn't work. They were also great at letting us extend the rental by an extra 1 hr. 30 mins. which we didn't end up needing but it was nice to have the option.

I have rented other nice or at the least acceptable transport trailers from UHaul in the past, but this particular vehicle transport trailer should have been retired years ago. It looks beat to hell and showing rust. Date codes show it from the 90's . It towed ok and did the job, but looked like it was ready to fall apart and was sagging and bowed like it was tired or had been overloaded. Please retire this poor old trailer. It deserves it, and so do your customers and your reputation. Thank You.

This is the only uhaul location I've ever used because the inventory is stocked, trucks clean and I've never had an issue with a vehicle, the employees are incredible, funny and make the process painless. I've been renting from this particular location for many years for multiple moves and it is the only location I will pick up a truck from in the valley. Excellent service.

The van that was given to me was leaking gasoline when I was trying to fill it up. When I went to the office the front desk manager in the afternoon came across like he did not care.

The manager on site was great. I had my reservation changed multiple times to a new location which was frustrating. The representative who called me the 2nd time, promised I would get a discount on my rental. Unfortunately, that representative didn't actually setup a discount for me. The manager on site fixed it for me and made everything work. Merci.

Jose the owner is the only one at the checking people in. Asking the same questions I put in the Uhaul app. Redundant. A long line of people out the door attempting to rent. I find the guy that is supposed to check me out and he walked all of the place looking for the equipment I rented. All while two other guys are looking for a key for a truck that Is blocking many more trucks. It felt worse then going to the DMV. This location needs help. I've used three locations over the last year. This by far was the worse experience.

I scheduled an appointment for 8 am, but when I arrived there were 5 people before me and only one manager. As a result, I waited in line for 40 minutes and was late for my meeting. You need to add managers in the morning shift!

I would never recommend U-Haul, especially this location, to another living soul. 2 weekends in a row there were issues with my reservations. The second reservation I had to Pickup the truck 13 miles further than planned without any heads up until I arrived to a closed store that was supposed to have my rental ready. I was offered a $50 credit for this inconvenience and have called twice about it since December 10th and it still has not been refunded. When picking up the rental at the Northridge location, the dolly we were just told would be waiting for us was not there, and no Dollie's were available for rent, so the service associate offered a $50 credit if we purchased a dolly, which was still not the one we needed. He told us to follow up about it after we returned the truck. I spoke to Sherina at the Northridge office and from the very moment I tried to relay what happened, she was defensive and told me that just because there are TikTok's on social media that are saying that that is something they can do, they cannot. I have no idea what she was talking about with social media, I was just trying to relay what her employee told us. The way in which she spoke to me was absolutely unacceptable. I will not be using U-Haul again, I would never recommend anyone use U-Haul ever, I had two reservations and both had issues, the second one having severe issues. And to be treated like that by someone in customer service, and having to call several times to get the credit I was offered actually sent through, still to no avail, you guys have some really serious issues with your customer service.

Truck I rented was dirty on the inside. Dash board of the truck was dusty and sticky.. truck was not washed. The truck they rented to me was fuel gauge was on empty yet paperwork was documented as a little more than quarter of tank. A barley made to the gas station as the tank was truly that low. The drivers side visor kept coming off the visor holder and blocking my view of the front window. It was truly annoying especially on the freeway. This was a hazard and could have easily caused an accident. I had to move the visor toward the driver side door to get visor out my obstruction of view. I had filled gas tank in full and returned it with 3/4 of fuel in tank since I thought my trip would use all the fuel. U-Haul did not want to credit me for the fuel but after arguing with them they only credited me partially. In the inside of the box in cargo area it was super dirty full of debris that was blown out last minute literally as I was standing waiting for it. All in all out of my total bill I was only credit a little less than 50 % of my total bill. I was not very happy since I had spent over double the total amount of bill for gas. Had I known I was not going to use all the fuel I put in the truck I would have not filled up the tank.

upon receiving the auto transport, i asked for 101 lesson for strapping and to make sure that's all i needed to know. however, after several times going to the gas station, one of the attendant noticed the chains were not hooked up to my car. i had to find a uhaul for assistance for that matter. overall complaint is that please train your staff the final step of the auto haul, straps & chains are crucial especially having to drive thousand miles away.

Vehicle was not just dirty but clearly no one had bothered looking inside it before giving it out again for rental. The remaining inch of a blunt with crumbled weed was in the ash tray, dog hair all over the interior, my furniture dolly wasn't in the vehicle, and the gas tank was completely empty. Meanwhile the staff is sitting outside laughing and on their phones while the one rental for the whole day wasn't properly prepared. Total disgrace, even for a franchise with a terrible reputation like uhaul already has.

Very unprofessional, gas tank was literally empty and had to find a gas station immediately. That made it very difficult to return the vehicle with the same amount for fear of running out. Therefore I had to rely on an honest reimbursement of the additional gas left in the tank, which is not good business practice. Empty tank was blamed on homeless people living in the vicinity, which is not the customer's problem.

I just can't express ENOUGH GRATITUDE to all of the staff that I interacted with at U-Haul over the last 2 years. Their friendliness,consideration and professionalism was beyond the standard of what I could've ever expected from any storage facility in the country. Jose and the entire staff are to be commended for such excellent service- and even though I Didn't find a reasonable place to call home in my hometown, it definitely Was a true relief to have my belongings stored there for the amount of time that I did. I am beyond grateful for everything-from the bottom of my heart, I THANK YOU, and will definitely recommend you for anyone who has to use a storage facility.,

This uhaul had no access blocked by 10 trucks horrible access to unit very unclean doors did not open had to pry them open I was told online i was street level ground level it was not street level I'm disabled and finding out it's not ground level was devastating everything at this place is a nightmare to access you shouldn't be charging this much money also saw horrible roaches all over this place omg I'm so distrauat

To many U-Haul rental vehicles and trailers making it hard to safely park. Once you have boxes in your car blocking your view, you can easily run into another vehicle. Especially the trailer hitches, that are low to the ground and hard to see, even when you don't have any boxes in the car. If your now good at backing up you risk an accident. Moving with them is good. Just don't use them for storage.

Car access to the storage units is awful. There are trailers blocking all the parking spots. No weed/cigarette smoking in the facility is not enforced. Short staffed. Seedy area with vagrancy rampant.

The storage itself was alright and convenient. They claimed no bugs or rodents would be in the units. I found tons of bugs in mine and they seem to be hopping from other units. I had clothes put away in secure bags and those bugs chewed right through them and ate into expensive clothes. The cleaning lady always speaks rudely about customers infront of customers, she thinks just because she says it in spanish that no one will understand her, well we did and we told her to stop as it was rude af. Im sorry we are putting our things for donation for other families to use and you dont want to do your job. The "owner" Juan was rude to my husband stating they dont offer military rates (for trailers) & spoke condesendingly to him on memorial day. Only to be shown on their very website that there is in fact military rates. There has been times we needed something from storage around 8pm and their system was fully down. Manager was called and nothing ever came about. Overall, we decided to move out fully cause alot of my items were damaged by these bugs they have in their unit. Only the lady who works in the office (blonde) she was cool, I liked her.

I moved out because my unit along with several other were broken into. Its clear that the security system is not enough of a deterrent to prevent thief or setup in such a way as to catch thieves. In this case it appears it was another tenant on the same floor breaking into other units with impunity. There needs to be cameras on every hall and not just the perimeter and there needs to be motion sensors that set off an alarm if there is movement in the building after hours.

At the Northridge facility the security system that lets you in-and-out for your storage unit does not work. I had to get out of my storage unit and was not able to get out in a timely manner because I had to constantly be asking them to. Reset their system. I was not able to ever access my storage unit before the office opened because the system was not working. I was told that a management knows that it's broke and that it's been broke for well over a month With no intentions of fixing it. I also spoke to a new customer and he had blocked the door so that he could get in-and-out and said that he was told after he paid. That the door and security systems were unreliable and didn't work.

New customer. Never rented any storage. I find it extremely offensive that I was allowed to purchase storage in the 3rd floor without being advised until AFTER the fact during the " showing " part of the transaction that the elevator DO NOT WORK! How did i just pay for a storage in the 3rd floor with NO WORKING ELEVATOR. I feel hustled.

There weren't enough staff in the building. Only one person working so there was a long wait. Although the desk clerk was fairly nice, she was visibly and audibly frustrated. The system was also down all day and they had to reset it a lot, therefore we were locked out and not able to get to our unit which made the move in process even longer. The people working outside were top notch though. Super nice and helpful.

Overall it was great, clean and secure. The people working there are great. The occasional I.T. and logging issues were minor. One Sunday, the elevators were non-functional but Juan took care of that for us. Traffic can be an issue sometimes because of many customers and trucks. But overall I was pleased to have my stuff in a safe and secure place. Merci.

I liked the place, staff, prices, cleanliness but i didn't like that i have a reservation done days before actually moving in and went to see the room but then on the day i moved in, they gave me a different room then the one I saw. It was fine for me because i actually liked it more but i would had been mad if it had been the other way around.

Had a storage unit there for two years, its pricey but worth it. The 24 hr access option as well as the security system made our stuff is easy to access ourselves but hard for others. The loading dock made my move in and move out of the unit a breeze, and I never once regretted choosing this great storage location. The only bad thing I have to say about this place is their corporate rules make some things harder than they need to be. Halfway through my 2 year rental period I lost my key to my unit. Instead of being able to bring a drill from my garage and open up my unit myself, they required me to call a locksmith, who proceeded to try to pick it open for 20 minutes and fail, only to do exactly what I would've done myself and drill out the cylinder. $275, to open my unit is absurd, especially when they install hitches at this location, and could've grabbed a drill from the shop and opened my unit for me. Absolutely ridiculous. Yes, maybe use a combination lock, it's less secure, but the security system will protect your stuff more than your unit lock will anyways. I just didn't do that because I had a habit of giving people my keys to go get something for me and didn't want them to be able to memorize the code. But sometimes it's not worth possibly losing the key and spending a months worth of the rental fees on opening up the unit. Other than that one hiccup though, my storage experience was great.

My overall experience is good but Getting in and out of the storage facility is problematic. Not enough space and ample parking to get around. At worst, you are blocked in waiting for cars or trucks to move of course you have to find these people or alert the staff who are very helpful in resolving-at best, you are able to squeeze between the return stalls.

I rented a locker for about six years. I like the security arrangements, and that the building was climate-controlled. The only issue during that time was once when I found that water had seeped into the back of the unit. The manager was not as helpful as he could have been, simply telling me to record any damages so an insurance claim could be filed. Fortunately the damage I found was minor. However, facility management showed no interest in investigating the incident in order to prevent it from re-occurring.

The staff was incredibly helpful, courteous and professional. I have rented from this location before and the reason I will always come back is the staff. I have had interactions with 7 staff members and they were all great. The storage space was dirty ( had previous items in it) and the staff took care of it immediately. The storage facilities have issues. The entrance to the space itself is too small. The space measurements are not accurate. Due to the way it's constructed it's not a full 5x10.

The main problem with this location is that access to the loading dock is dususlly difficult. There's very little customer parking and often employees and customers who are not actively using the loading dock are parked in the spots in front of the loading dock. Personally once I have unloaded I move my car so that somebody else can unload while I'm inside the building. There should be some signage encouraging others to do the same.

Most dissapointing Uhaul experience I've had. After my wife and my out-of-state move (about 1900 miles of driving), we were just a nuisance to the employees here. What a gong show. Never again.

There is never parking and when u find parking you are asked to move so they can park the uhaul trucks. The day workers bug and are always on the property and the Hanicap space is never available.

Every 5 min all lights would turn off auto, suddenly ur in the back of ur unit in pitch black. Goodluck finding ur way back w/out falling.. All brused up u back in ur unit again n lights go out again
