The cargo door must have opened when someone used the leaf blower nearby. Otherwise, the truck was clean. I do have a concern regarding the app. In the middle of the check-in process, the app lost the check-in flow, and I had to connect with the support team to continue the remaining process.

carlos moralasWe were charged incorrectly for an extra day rental because of U-Haul's mistake. We extended the trailer rental until March 5 and were told to return by 2. We returned the trailing at 2 on March 5th. There were several being returned at the same time. My worker asked if there was anything else that needed to be done to check it back in. He was told no. The next day I was called be a woman at U-Haul and asked when we were returning the trailer. I told her it was returned the day before at the 2 as requested. She checked and said Ok never mind. We were charged for it being returned at 12:54 on March 6 but it was returned at 2 on March 5. The yard guy checking in the trailers and disconnecting it from our truck didn't complete checking it in. We are guessing because several came in at the same time. Now I have to drive back down to the U-Haul site to get this corrected.

william pudykMy Uhaul was not maintained. It swung at a 45 degree angle to the left and right on the highway when I started going over 60mph. I could have been injured or killed. When I called the Uhaul roadside assistance number, I was hung up on. I am seeking a full refund - the manager at the Uhaul location I used has not contacted me about compensation.
Sarah SchneiderCustomer service was awful. They tried to charge me twice what was quoted. I wasn't offered any additional equipment like furniture pads, dolly, etc..when I told them they were charging me two days instead of one, he tried to show me how h was wrong, and then when he realized he put times in wrong he counted as "a favor". Didn't show us where the truck was located, just said go find the number. We had to go find someone to help us get the truck out because it was parked so close next to another we would have scraped it if it were attempted. Very disappointing experience.

Steven LyThere were several issues with this rental on Sat, 2/17/24. My appointment was at 11:45am, as I had a moving crew scheduled at 1:30pm. Due to a UHaul "systemwide" issue, the computer system wouldn't allow for contracts to be processed and I waited for almost 40 minutes to get the contract processed. I was 1 out of 2 customers in the facility. The other customer left in frustration. I communicated my concern with the delay and no other options were proposed to resolve the situation, even when I suggested some. Next, the truck was parked so tightly in that I could barely open the door. The path of travel to reverse and get the truck would have caused me to crash into other trucks. I had to go get the UHaul associate to move the truck. She tried and also could not get the truck out. She had to move other Uhaul rental trucks just so she could get my truck out, finally, the truck was filthy and disgusting like it hadn't been washed in years. Bird poop blocking the windshield and the inside of the cab had dirt on the floor and grime everywhere. If I wasn't already an hour behind on my move, I would have requested a different vehicle or asked for it to be cleaned. Upon return, it was chaotic and trucks were blocked trying to get out, and there was no area to return the truck because it was so backed up. Then, once I was able to give the keys back to the attendant, she couldn't even check me Oort because she was so busy, but that she would process my mileage and receipt later since they were so busy. Then, I couldn't even get out of the facilitywith my own vehicle to leave, I had to wait for trailers and truck blocking the path of travel. Not only was it a poor customer experience all the way around, but there were several safety issues at the facility. At the very least, I would like to receive a significant discount and I would like to be contacted.

They look right at you and just nonchalant whatsoever. when asked a question, they very nonchalant about answering you very dismissive. Would I had a hard time understand even with processing a U-Haul online reservation is still took like 45 to hour for you to get out of the building which your reservation already done online.

There was no customer parking there because the people who work there parked there. Instead, they want us to park on the road and walk in instead of them. Not very professional staff either.

There was long lines mostly but the agent moved acutely and quickly and remained professional at all times. Environment was neat and clean and truck rentals were prices were reasonable. My reservation for a drive unit was not accessible as it should be and was inconvenienced by this when moving truck was prepared to unload. Called the 1-800 u-haul number to verify and get reservation paid or okayed for move in, but seeing that this 3 point location is a "dealer", the more or less are independent of u-haul policy and guidelines, hence the reason why when I called the 1-800 number, they could not access or see any reservation account that I had. But was given the okay by 1-800 u haul to move in, because I was told that the truck I had was already rented out for the morning to another family, so I worked on unloading my belongings myself till 12 in the morning so as not to inconvenience the next family with their rental full of someone elses stuff still loaded on truck. I unloaded it and cleaned it out and turned in the key to drop box. The next morning before I was to go to location office, I had an emergency that took much of my morning, I checked my phone when I had the first chance and recieved a nasty message from the u haul location at 3 points stating that if I did not come pick up my stuff from location, that it was going to be throw into the dumpster and that I would be picking it up from in there if I did not get there in two hours, with two hours written again for added emphasis. I had to break off my emergency meeting, call the 800 number to advice them of this, drive back into town to save my belongings. when I get to location, I called the 800 number only to be told that 1-800 u haul has no control of this ' U-HAUL" business and there isnt anything they ( 1-800-u-haul ) could do for me and that I had to go into the office where I was treated inhumanely by the black woman with a severe attitude and nasty mouth whom only disrespected me over and over on getting her point across that u-haul has no business telling me what I could or could not do there at her location! Never in my life have I ever seen a what I thouth to be a reputable business represented in this manner and fashion! I feel even shameful for even attempting to do business here and will no longer ever set my eyes on this brand and will share my experience to the tee so that others may be warned of u-hauls business policy, practice and customer care that is non existent when even it comes at its worst from one of their one facility brandishing its own name, very shameful and u-haul does not even care to follow up with me to make sure that my belongings or even myself are ok,

The new girl wasn't properly trained and it showed as she did not know anything about any question I had and the assistant manager was trying to force me to do things I wasn't capable of even though I calmly told her I couldn't, she offered no help or solutions and only after calling the Uhaul hotline and having them speak to the manager was I able to get my unit hours later even though I reserved it in advance. They had a young male whose name I can't remember (starts with an A) and he was awesome, he should be running the place as he was able to locate a uhaul truck for me and had me driving off within the hour. The place is good but not the women in the store, she had a friend in there speaking loudly and using the speaker phone and talking to her as I was trying to give my information...very unprofessional If you use this place I hope you get the young man as he did business right

We had a storage unit for about 3 yrs. and the rates increased each year. I didn't see why since nothing change, no extra security, no lights within the unit or any extra maintenance.

I called the office and the guy who came keep saying he don't work on this side this is not his job, he works on the other side this was not his job. I felt like as if I was inconveniencing him or something. I didn't like that. Why wasn't the unit cleaned before it was rented to me? So what he did was left the wood in there , closed the door and gave me a different unit number to use. Not standard practice I'm sure.

Went with a 28ft trailer inside the gate that took 30 min to get into only to find that the unit I was assigned already had a lock.after an hour someone finally came and said they didn't have any units that size and walked off. I was stuck inside the gate of the building another 30 minutes because I couldn't get out. Luckily someone that has a unit there let us out. Won't go there every again.i am still waiting on my refund but I'll give it a few more days.

The online system rented an inaccessible space, but the onsite manager quickly got us into another unit so that we could back up the 26 ft truck and unload much easier. Such great customer service!!! The only suggestion would be that the storage facility wasn't as clean and well kept as I'd expected it to be...looks older and cluttered/ in disarray.

When I let her know I couldn't get into the gate to retrieve the lock she stated I must for this current months even though we were returning the storage she the proceeded to argue about how it can't be released until payment is made and come back tomorrow when the manager has returned. The next day I missed the call from the manager and when I called back she answers the phone but denies the conversation and refuses to let me speak to the manger not only that she denies me leaving the keys with her and says I need to return the lock. She rose her voice, lied and now I have to go back up there to argue with her. I am nine months pregnant on top of all of this. You need to have employees who want to do their job.
