I really love the convenience of the pull in bay and carts available to unload my boxes!! Having a map to help me locate my storage unit was so helpful! The best part was the elevator because I didn't need to make one hundred trips up and down the stairs!! Overall, very clean, convenient and so helpful for me to store my items. We changed the time of our pickup from Saturday to Sunday due to the snow storm. Snow was over by noon.Our pickup time was 9am and the truck wasn't ready until 10:15. Snow should have been removed Saturday afternoon before the temperature dropped. Cleaning the vehicle's off would have been a lot easier if 6 inches of snow wasn't frozen on the vehicles.

They did a terrific job installing our hitch. Most importantly, we were having problems getting our back hatch opened, which might have made installing the electrical cables difficult. They were able to open the hatch, repairing the problem in the process, and was able to complete the job excellently. So glad we came to U-Haul in Saukville!

Always clean and well lighted and always felt safe. Liked the pull in bays, out of the weather, that made moving comfortable even in the middle of a Wisconsin winter. Was impressed with the key card security system in addition to locked units. Only thing I did not like was the locks provided for the units. They looked cheap and easy to break into. It didn't bother me that much and I could have used my own lock if I felt it necessary.

The U-Haul rep that helped me rent a unit, on-site, was very friendly and explained the process very well. The "Your Storage Plan" handout which highlighted the benefits and also showed the unit's location at the facility was very helpful. When I got there the gentleman quoted me 15 min to get all set, but once I told him I had already had a rental, it only took a few min. They were very friendly at every encounter. I drive an additional 15 min to use this facility because I feel it couldn't possibly be better somewhere else.

The staff is very helpful but unfortunately yesterday when we got there to get the unit we waited 45 minutes and then the system wasn't working properly. I went in advance to make sure everything was all set and told it was but yet none of the information was properly stored in your system and we had to re-enter much of the information we entered online. Again staff is great but 1 person working and waiting 45 minutes after a long day of moving wasn't great.

On 5/27 I showed up after the office was closed to move in. I was able to get into the entrance with my code but the sliding doors were locked so I was not able to move in as expected.

Very nice units. The only concern I have is that the garage doors don't always work. It would be helpful if light was red when space is occupied. They are usually just flashing yellow. Other than that I like the units & the staff. Thanks

I was given a lock with a key attached to a U Haul card when I rented the storage. When I was done with the storage they made me keep the lock. The owner said that the U Haul card had a hole in it where the key was attached and that would no longer work with their system. He accused me of punching a hole in the card. I did not punch a hole in the card. That was how it was given to me. So I got stuck with a lock and no refund.

Several days prior to check in, I received a call from the manager-Ross, in case I had any questions. The morning I checked in, Ross was also working the front desk. He was very helpful, explaining all the details I might need to know and making sure to answer any questions I had. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and also with the "for free space", where customers could leave items for others to take.

Ross brooks is an a**hole and can go f*** himself. And was severely unprofessional with me on 4/20/20. After I called on Friday 4/17/20 and explained to someone working there that the only time I had to empty my two units out was on 4/18/20 and 4/19/20. Ross had a big attitude with me about that and was trying to demand more money for rent when those were the only two days I had to get the stuff out. Bear in mind, all that stuff in those units was my father's who just recently passed away and Ross did not care one bit in the world about any of that. Along with this other lady on Sunday 4/19/19, this lady had a big attitude when I asked about extended access in the storage facility she was walking around yelling an had an attitude to her coworker max, he said something to her and she mumbled something under her breath. Overall nice facility over on the storage side and in the office. From what I experienced on the dates I listed, and after storing there for about a year I believe, I will NOT be coming back to this location for anything EVER again.
