The truck had a definite electrical problems, unable to drive at night due to the lights flickering off and on. A pot of sputtering of the engine. That truck should just be retired. Took way more mileage because of the no driving at night.

The equipment was clean, but was plagued with electrical problems with the lights. Trailer disconnect warnings popped up constantly during use when, it was connected. The previous time I tried to rent a dolly, bolts were missing from the fender & I had to return it. The manager who received the return was.very helpful & professional.

Even though the first truck we received did not have defrost that worked (blower fan inop), the staff quickly got us a replacement vehicle and allowed us to complete our moving task. Merci.

David's customer service was superb. He went over and beyond to ensure I was taking care of when I rented and returned the truck. He was very knowledgeable with using the U-Haul app and was extremely patient with helping me resolve my issues (user error) with the app.

Self pick up process took over 10 minutes. Website was very slow despite good connection. Return process was also just weird. The website gave instructions that couldn't be followed. Had to call the main support line that finally gave me some instructions. App self-return process was just broken… Office was a hallway with tape and like 2 chairs. Guests were freaking out and being aggressive with other guests. Terrible experience… maybe just shut the location down if they're going to be doing major renovations like this…

In terms of cleanliness, the floor was clean on the driver side but significant amount of sand on the passenger side. Despite known I will pickup the truck after hours, the truck was parked in the farthest and darkest part of the lot. I would expect the truck to be parked right at the front. I had to use my phone as a flashlight and search the whole lot to find the truck

This Uhaul location is by far the best I've ever been to. I've moved around a lot being retired military. The workers were so friendly and they looked like they enjoyed their job. All jobs can be stressful but each visit, I never seen a frustrated employee. It was raining really bad yesterday. They were all motivated.

The trailer was not water tight and a piece of wood furniture got wet. We reported this leak on the return paperwork.

There needs to be a disclosure about the furniture dollys. They do not function well on carpet. Made it difficult and frustrating to move the heavy furniture to the new apartment. The heavy item would either slide off or the wheels would just stop functioning. I like the introduction of the plastic boxes. Those were very helpful.

The equipment return after hours was very unclear - I did download the app and submit photographs, but there was no way for me to secure the appliance dolly in the back of the truck.

Steering and auspension need checked badly. Steering wheel shook constantly while driving. Not sure if it was the safest vehicle to drive especially for what I was charged.

The van was dirty and the dolly I ordered was not available. However, the manager apologized and discounted the charge. I have used U HAUL for many years and I have always been very satisfed and will continue using your products. I believe this was an anomoly.

The mobile app I started with to pick up a van was frustrating and didn't work in the end. The live assistance tried to help and walk me through it, but we kept encountering problems. In the end, she was able to move my reservation to a nearby location that was open so I could work with a person. Not sure I'll ever try to use the mobile app for pickup again. The Potomac mills location took care of me and got me in my way.

To many random people hanging out outside of the uhaul on the sidewalk. They try to talk to you. Very uncomfortable for a woman or anyone in general.

I couldn't use the mobile app for pickup due to camera not being able to make accessible. I went through a lot of settings but couldn't get it to work. U haul instructions were worthless. Had to resort to in person transaction.

One of the managers was very rude. I tried to use a Dolly and he refused to give it to me whilst I. Am paying for the storage unit.

The roll-up door did work when he rolled it up the first day. We've been there twice and neither time would it go up more than about 5 feet.

Needs a fence and gate, so customers can come at our times of convenience. The business should also step up its call on Prince William County Police and keep the migrants from collecting around establishment.

Not sure if the staff really completed customer service training. They are generally rude, impatient, disrespectful, and dismissive. Moving is a very intense process and by far they do nothing to help in making sure we the customers are appreciated for our business.

There's an additional fee for 24hr access. The place is constantly overrun with vehicles blocking access to units. I have to call and give 24hr notice to get into my unit that I was charged $285/mo for. The staff was generally helpful, more phone calls went to the national call center than the actual employees at the location. The barrage of people seeking under the table employment on the premises, is unsafe. They run up to vehicles and stand in the driving lanes.

Everything went well. The employee that was there was very helpful. The only slightly annoying thing was that the drive-up area to the storage unit was very narrow and a little difficult to back up into since there were so many other Uhaul trucks parked in the loading area.

I received a storage 12 hours before, when I get to the office she said we don't have any available storage for you also I explain to her she won't answer me. After 30 minutes a young man helped me out and found the storage for me and I stored my stuff.

The facility is very tight to maneuver a large vehicle. Vehicles line the walls and the perimeter of the building. Great helpful staff. It's nice to see third party ppl wanting to help unload your truck, but very uninviting when they chase your vehicle or are standing in the middle of the street as you try to drive.

Your staff does an amazing job considering all the challenges that they deal with on a daily basis. I left your storage because of all the day workers that continued to harass and block my progress. On several trips to my unit, I was actually followed to my unit.

No matter what, Cody the Manager there, ALWAYS worked with me. Even when I was in the store, and hearing the reps call him with issues,…..he's something else, and his management is definitely one of the reasons UHAUL is a household name.

The reason for the above average reading, is due to how the Woodbridge Virginia staff handled my accounts and assisted me with my storage unit. They were very helpful and professional, the whole way as far as Baltimore, where I picked up my moving truck, unprofessional by all means, and the only reason why I closed my account and moved my items to a new storage was because it was cheaper, by at least $100 even, maybe considering lowering the prices on your storage units and you may have more storage users.

If you open the storage someone has the option to hop into another storage from the inside of a storage. I had a collection of quarters that I left in my storage unit and they are now missing. I feel like they have been stolen.

Michael was helpful and showed me the storage unit during early check in which was prior to the start date of my storage reservation. He also walked me to the unit that was close and easy to get to, including how the lock worked. Erica was very professional and cheerful when she checked me during the day of move in and provided helpful details about the storage rental process.

All is excellent except the numerous men asking if my daughter and I needed help. Although there is a no trespass at the U-HAUL site, the men continue to ask if we needed help. Is there anyway to keep them at least 100 ft from the property? Other than that, all is great with U-Haul! A. Flores

No lights in the hallway where our unit was located; dead mouse in the unit; difficult to access unit due to trucks parking nearby; day laborers walking around the facility made it feel unsafe. Would not use this facility again.

Listen the staff was very friendly, but it took 45 minutes for this guy to set me up with a unit. I told him i had a free reservation he didn't listen and had to start over. Finally we went out to look for the unit and I knew where the unit was before him but again he didn't listen. Then when i got my unit open there were spider and cobwebs EVERYWHERE..i literally had to wipe it all away with my own broom. Oh not to mention when i got the first unit, and its now dark by the way, I've gotten a quarter of my stuff in the unit already and he comes back out to tell me he gave me the wrong unit.. the experience was trash and made my day last longer than i needed which wasn't cool because I had missed something important due to the nonsense i dealt with at Uhaul. What should have been a 30 min experience turned into almost 2 hours and mind you, i had a 10 foot truck of stuff going into a 5' 10' 5' and again I've been in the moving industry so it didnt take more than 15 or 20 minutes to unload my truck and stack it in the unit.

I was charged for gas when I put gas back in the truck I put over 400 dollars in this truck and after returning to see they charged an additional 55 dollars on my credit card

I don't normally write reviews but I had to because the women at this job were phenomenal. I'm going through a hard time right now and they didn't just make me feel like a customer but something more and put a smile on my face when I didn't feel like I had any reasons to smile. These women were a blessing to me! These are the type of employees you want to treat right and keep at the company. If the ladies happen to see this thank you so much for being so kind!

The staff was great however the layout of the the facility made it difficult to access my unit with anything besides a small car. I chose this place because it was advertised as 24/7 but more often than not there were rental trucks blocking the through way. However, to the benefit of this location this seems endemic to all uhauls. Therefore for future storage needs i will be renting from a non-uhaul location

First, we would not have chosen this location, but our options were limited due to the size of truck we were returning (26'). We called on Friday 8/13 to speak with an agent about securing a storage unit, but she stated she did not know if there was availability and did not know how to check if there was availability. She took my name and phone number and said he manager would call back with info. We never got the follow up communication. So I called back Saturday 8/14 to inquire again, and Brandon was helpful and confirmed a 10'x10' unit for us to start Sunday 8/15. We arrived Sunday 8/15 and waited a while to be helped. A young lady with long curly hair and freckles led me up to help me, and took a 5 minute phone call in the middle of helping me. She didn't seem to have a thorough understanding of the system and how to get me into my unit quickly. Finally she gave us an access card and the unit number. When we drove around to the unit, it was in use but closed to the owner for nonpayment. So we go back inside to get another unit. A young, thin gentlemen with braces helped assign us to another unit, which was going to be larger and more expensive since there were no other 10'x10' available. I hen we went over to that unit, it was also in use and closed to the owner for nonpayment. He came around to the unit to meet us and completely shared our frustrations because there were no other available units of any size. He stated his frustration with the assistant manager who is responsible for not letting their system show availability for these types of units. (Sorry for the descriptions, no one on site wore a name tag). We quickly called a Public Storage down the street where a fast, friendly, professional associate got us a unit immediately. Thanks to their assistance, we were able to secure our belongings same day with ZERO HASSLE! The experiences between the two companies was night and day. I am also aware that the manager of this location passed away recently, which we were sorry to hear. I have no doubt the team we encountered was working hard to do the beat they could, given the circumstances. As a customer, i just want to relay that they need more support and assistance right now. Your corporate leaders would not be happy with how this location is currently operating.

My wife and I were moving to a new house in the area, and we needed to put our property in storage. We were stressed out enough. However, store manager Dana Russell showed tremendous customer service in helping us get set up with the storage we needed. I am grateful to her for alleviating a stressful situation we were in.

The unit 1328 was very poor unfortunately they had a mice/rat problem and I had to throw out my Sofa and lamp because of it. I needed my sofa and it went to trash because of the mice.
