Even though we had made a reservation on the uhaul website on the 2nd of March, we were switched to this location, which was the 4th location after showing up at the second one that uhaul had switched us to, only to be told they didn't have the trailer size we reserved. We finally were directed to the Gallatin Pike location and they had to reload all our information again. We then were told your trailer is outside with a finger pointing to the direction. Marcus didn't follow us and after we found the right trailer, we told him it was parked behind another trailer. He told us he would switch the trailer on the contract, but we didn't have the time as we were now almost 3hrs into trying to get the trailer we thought we had reserved. We then had to ask him to come outside to hook it up to our truck. He hooked up the trailer, but walked away without hooking up the electrical, and checking to make sure the directionals and brake lights worked. Overall, was a very poor experience.

When I returned, they told me "I don't understand why he didn't give you one, we have a ton!" and showed me all the appliance dollies they had.Then said you're really going to stay here for 3 dollars? When I asked them to update my bill. Completely unprofessional...

I wanted a drive up unit and reserved a drive up until and they told me reservations don't matter and gave me a inside unit upstairs that leaked so.my stuff got wet. Then both times I have to get a trailer from them they said it had to be round trip and not one way. The first time they fixed it, but this last time they refuse to fix it and only wanted to give me a 5 hour rental of the trailer. Also because I never heard back from customer service like I was told when I call them I have to drive 3 hours with an empty trailer on the expressway to return it. I will never deal with that uhaul again

Rob CalvertI reserved a unit a month in advance online and when I arrived the day before the move, they had non on the size I reserved. They rented me the smaller size and the location moved to a second floor down narrow hallways. It is not feasible to move furniture to that location so I had to cancel the reservation. Very disappointed.

Money was stolen from a moving referral, the staff do not have correct info to give to customers or that is their excuse for trying to over charge people. Rented a tow behind and it was full of debris and the woman "manager" (she says) is just the worse!!!

After all I'm giving uhaul my business and money, not saying I'm special or important, it's just a way to talk and carry yourself when representing a company. Customer service ain't for everyone. There should be a class on how to conduct yourself and how to talk to your customers. Other than that every thing was fine. Now the first night I came into the facility a young man names Kaheem helped me and he was very helpful and professional.

And the guy told us the total, we od with card, then he told us about insurance on truck, we paid that with card, then he mentioned we had to have insurance on contents in storage unit, we pd with card. Would had been more simpler to do all different transaction at same time. But the guy was nice.

When hooking up, the only lightning that was tested by the attendant were the emergency flashers. Two of the rear lights were almost falling out of the bracket, one of the other rear lights didn't work at all.

MARVIN KNOWLESMy delivery got rescheduled 3 times because of the weather, that's totally not uhaul's fault, but I wasn't notified when my boxes arrived in TN. If I'd known, I might have been able to schedule delivery before the weather hit. Also one of my boxes was still screwed shut. Overall I'm very happy and everyone was so helpful and friendly. Merci.

Darrell WellsI contracted to have U haul boxes delivered to my home in Sarasota fl and then shipped to Cookeville Tennessee for storage until our house was ready to move in and then I was told to let them know and they would deliver them to my home so we could empty all five boxes. When we were about ten days beforewe were ready I contacted the storage facility who had our U haul boxes to make arrangements for delivery and was informed there is no arrangement to deliver the U boxes in Cookeville and I would have to do this myself. I could not believe what was happening.After making many phone calls to U haul they finally agreed to send a truck from the Nashville area to drive down and deliver my furniture and then come back and pick them up for a charge of $666.before they would come and deliver the boxes. The truck driver was very nice and did what they said. My conclusion is don't trust what they tell you when using U haul boxes as to their service. I felt We were held hostage to pay a charge that was not in the agreement to get our furniture. I wanted to use PODs but they do not come here but was up front on there service .

Wendy GrossNot horrible, but details matter when you are paying $1 000 for a 24 hour period. Windows were filthy, and I mean filthy inside and out. Annoying belt squeal for 400+ miles. Less than 10 MPG. I appreciated the efforts of the people working there.

I called to see if the container could be picked up earlier and there was no issues. They called me back and said they could be on their way. All very nice people that I dealt with in Madison.

ROBERT SMITHI was given a very messy and disorganized time at this location. One employee carried quite the pungent smell of marijuana on them, and they were the only one working the desk. None of this would be an issue if they would have given me a small bit of courtesy and decency. They were very indifferent and dismissive of everything in the process. Giving me dead looks, very short, unclear answers, and offered no assistance- often prioritizing other people, engaging in conversation with them. Once I got my car over to the trailers and began hookup, another employee came to my car and thankfully helped me finish setting it up. I came in to finish my paperwork, had to wait another 10-15 minutes, as the previous employee hadn't printed it out, instead going out of his way to work with another customer. My trailer hadn't been checked in, and I doubt inspected when I arrived, which forced me to wait even longer. In total I spent an hour getting this 4 by 8 from a dead store. Due to the tornados in my state, I was forced to move a week later, and this location made it even more miserable.

Javier VilchisI rented a Uhaul box. They sent bill months after the box was delivered for a ticket that supposedly occurred during the transportation of this box. This is the kind of customer service you can expect. No accountability from uhaul for their own mistakes.

TIFFANY STEWART | Premières impressionsThe process was smooth and cost effective. The U-Box was built sufficiently for my needs. Tie downs at a lower level would be appreciated. My unit only had two on each side at chest height. The app however did not allow for insurance adjustments post delivery as we kept the unit a period of time to accommodate changes. It was stated you had to go to a facility to alter / drop insurance over the original contract. Aside from these things, the experience was very positive. I have already recommended the U-Box method of moving to other people, especially if you have a vehicle to transport to / from the U-Haul facility.

David HughesHow about you don't change the pre-selected pickup and drop off locations without confirming it with the customer first. Added miles to my trip and added an hour in additional drive time. Terrible customer service especially when I reserved this weeks in advance. Pick up the phone and call next time, wtf.
MICHAEL SCHAUBShipped household items from CO to TN, to be stored while home was being built. When it was time to deliver items so movers could load them, I had to call uhaul back 9x in order for them to correctly load the correct drop off address into the system. Storage rent is not pro-rated, so I paid $200 to store items for 10 days, and then once containers did make it to my home, noticed that Uhaul had put an additional padlock on one of my containers without my knowledge or permission, and left it there without a key or combination for me to have access to my box. In anddition, when I finally did gain access, some of my items were damaged. Unacceptable. Will never use Uhaul for any moving/storage needs, again.

When I moved out, many of my items were ruined due to a dry rusty residue that had dripped from the ceiling during the months that I was using the storage locker. I didn't hear anything back regarding my concern about the leak and how it had been handled. I'd like to be reimbursed for the damage done to my things.

The storage room, hallways, and elevator were well maintained. My disappointment comes from the lack of customer service. There were 2 very helpful employees unfortunately, I do not know their names. But the employee that I had the most contact with was was a younger, heavy set, black man who walks really slow, processes sales, rentals, and checkouts super slow. This man is surly and acts like he could careless about anything. Why is an employee wearing sunglasses while assisting customers at the register inside the building? Additionally, Uhaul needs to hire additional team members to support the business that this location does.

Didn't have an appliance dolly for me to use because I had ordered one, couldn't find another U-haul store to rent one from, which set me back on loading & leaving out. Had me going to these places, burning gas for nothing. No lock was provided once I got to the correct storage unit. The information giving to me by St. Louis U-haul was horrible. I would recommend the U-haul storage unit in Tennessee on Gallitan Pk.

They didn't show me how to get into the drive-thru spot and it was all a bit confusing. However, once we got Marvin, the general manager, to come and help us everything was fine. He was very knowledgable and polite. I like the facility (it's very clean!) and next time I think I'll be able to get in/out with no problem.

Some people just don't know how to clean up after themselves. Sometimes some people left the garage a mess, with the trolleys in different places, you'd have to go find one, Sometimes there was trash, or water, or broken objects that someone didn't want, sometimes it seemed like no one paid attention to the garage after a busy weekend. But for the most part, this U-haul was very well looked after. Every time I saw something and told the management about it, they looked after it. The entire team is Excellent.

The next day an extra lock was put in my door and the office would not return my calls or contact me about getting the key or any of my concerns. It is now 48 hours later and I have not heard from the GM. I was told 4 times that the GM would contact me.

The original storage unit I had was in direct sunlight and was extremely hot even though I had paid for a climate controlled unit. They moved me with no issues. The staff was very nice. The carts were very convenient. The lights didn't work right where my unit was. The sensor for the lights was all the way down the hall. Not a huge deal but I had to walk into the dark before the lights came on so may be a safety issue. If I needed a storage unit again, I'd definitely use Uhaul. The sign up process was quick and easy. I was locked out of my unit once, but when I checked in at the office I was told everything was fine and I was on autopay. My mother even received a delinquent letter. I checked in at the office, and was told autopay was working. No one could explain anything. Why was I charged late fees?
