Upon returning a truck on April 2, 2024 I was waiting in line for the next cashier, when a gentleman wearing normal clothes walks in and goes straight to the next available cashier and starts talking to cashier. When I approached and said I was in line, he said, "I saw." When I pressed the matter, he walked away and behind the counter. Apparently he worked there! Then as I finished my transaction and walked away, the cashier and the gentleman mocked me. Very rude.

When you pay $2400 for the exact same equipment you paid $400 for, 4 years ago (not sure what the 500 % increase in price is due to), I expect a working cup holder! The driver side cup holder was broken which made my 17 hour trip miserable because I had a crotch my drink the whole time.

I always use this location because it is conveniently located near me. I was disappointed that the new layout of the road has made it difficult and not easy to access. DOT should have considered the local businesses accessibility for their customers. The exceptional service made it tolerable. /SH

By far, the best climate controlled storage facilities I have ever used. I was at this location for over 5 years, and J.J and his staff are fantastic! Great people, and always offering assistance whenever, and wherever needed.

Joel was the gold star winner in this one. It was a team effort but he helped with those keys all day long. He didn't have to but he did. Thank you. We took this truck on a 2 day rager of furniture and junk. First it saved our bacon the we saved it's bacon.

Nothing specific to the location, which was okay, but the after hour drop off process seems terrible compared to the last time I rented an Uhaul. Please work on making that experience smooth.

I was needing the truck longer than expected due to driving one way, rainy weather and delayed movers. When I got a got from Joel at the drop off location, I told him I still needed it but not a full day and he said another reservation was coming for the truck and if I had it back, he would waive the extra days charge. We rushed to get it back and got it back 2 hours before he needed it. No receipt was given at the time, but the email receipt did not honor what he said and I was charged an extra day and a coverage fee of $15 that I didn't authorize. I expect what was promised when I rushed to help him out and meet his needs. Otherwise, I could have kept the truck an additional 24hours for what I was charged. Not good practice to not honor your word.

Ohhhhh snacks. I got tag teamed by the two titans of trucks. The two classics. Reggie started the process with some slow ace computers. He quick wit wipes out a work phone and got it going. JJ came in with some food and all. He set it down to get the job done while Reggie took care of what he needed. Go get your truck from these heavy hitters. Promotions

My truck would not start after I dropped off your trailer. The two men on duty noticed I was in the sun and offered to push me to a shaded area. They went far beyond the call of duty. Great job guys.

Storage is supposed to be climate controlled however it was hotter in the storage area than it was outside. There were some items that I was unable to put into the storage because of all the heat that was trapped in the building. The move into the storage ended up taking me 1 extra day because the heat in the location is unbearable. I have reached out to the manager of this location to try and come to a settlement. All he did was send me an email apologizing for the inconvenience but hasn't fully taken ownership of the matter. I would like to be refunded for the extra day that I had the trailer. The weather in Round Rock has been in the triple digits. If the AC was not working at that location I should have at least been notified and rebooked to another Uhaul location that wasn't having that issue.

We reserved a 10x10 unit, however, when I finalized the reservation at your location I was told we would have two 5x10 units. Having two units was no big deal but I told the woman who processed my reservation that I wasn't sure if I needed both units. I specifically asked if after I loaded everything I only needed one of the two could I cancel the second unit that wasn't needed. She told me that it would be no problem to remove the unneeded unit from our account. I loaded my items in the unit and found I did only need one of the 5x10 units. I went back to the office and spoke with the same woman who previously helped me and explained that I only needed the one unit. At this point I was told that I had to keep both units. She told me that if I wanted a single unit she would have to move me to a different location. When I told her I literally just finished and that I didn't want to move her response was "well you can't take only one of those and either move or keep both." When I reminded her that she told me I could keep only one if needed she said "I know I told you , I apologize but you can't. Do you want to move?" So now I'm paying $150/month for a space that costs less than half of that. Your employee knew that those units couldn't be split but took advantage of me knowing that it is impractical to move all of my stuff it another unit after spending an hour moving in. I will never do business with your location again and I will be sure to let everyone I know in the Austin area what kind of business you run. I hope the extra money you are making from my second unused space is worth the potential loss of revenue and reputation. I will also be sending a letter to uhaul corporate explaining how I was ripped off and posting my expo on my social media channels. I will be sure to tag your location if you have one so there's no confusion about where people should avoid doing business

We needed this type of unit to store numerous household items while we rented our soon to be retirement home. Now we are retired. It was time to remove our items and place them in our home. It is great to be retired. I highly recommend it. Your facility and staff are excellent and I highly recommend them. There were several size units to chose from and everything was in excellent condition when we emptied it. We were there for nearly 3 years. Thank you for keeping our furniture and other items safe.

There is a HUGE disconnect between website/call center and physical stores and operations. Trying to get correct and complete written confirmation of activity initiated over phone or online was literally impossible. Website would only let me move out one of two units in reservation and wouldn't let me move out the 2nd unit after completing first one. Nearly every time I called or did something online, it was wrong when I got to the actual location and talked to the folks on the ground. Everything is super nice over the phone but actually execution of stuff later at store was a nightmare (fubard) whether it be renting trucks, hiring movers, renting storage, monthly payments online, and move out online. Nothing went smoothly. Local guys at this location were condescending and sexist, being a women doesn't make me incompetent. The storage lockers were great, truck condition is hit or miss, hiring movers through you was a fiasco, online payments are confusing, website seems intuitive but doesn't do what you expect, says I don't owe when I do, can't move out 2 units, freezes up in check out of mover order and send multiple times to mover for which I was liable to pay, luckily the mover called and warned me. When I call, they say everything is handled, that it will be sent in writing but never correct, still get billed late feesonly, get move out confirmation for one unit not two, never got one for the 2nd unit. I NEVER , no matter how much I try to call and confirm, get the piece of mind in writing that's correct.

You might want to add a "NA" button to all questions that you allow only a YES or NO answer. With the NA available all of your customers would complete their survey instead of seeing a message that stops me and "I must answer all of the questions". I rented my unit but canceled before I moved into the unit.

I asked to be charged for 24hr access and was told by two staff members that we could have 24 access for three days and come back and pay the extra fee if we still needed it. I agreed and was grateful for the compromise. We continued our move and the access was denied at the normal hours. I didn't even get it for one night and had to leave our storage unlocked and opened for the night because we couldn't get back in. When I tried to explain the situation to the morning worker he said "I am not calling you a liar, but we don't do anything like that." He said that I would have to come back to the store and talk to whoever told me it would be available. Pretty crappy customer service.

I will say that the staff at this location is helpful, and friendly but they often use profane language which to me is not professional. The profane language is not towards the customer but a word or two may be used in a conversation about a situation they are dealing with, or about life in general. It doesn't bother me at all but I have a feeling it would bother someone else that may try to give Uhaul at chance at this location.

Paid for climate control. When we arrived the a/c was not working. Manager acted like he did not know anything about it and avoided engaging us. The unit was in front of the window in 104 degree weather with no a/c on. There was a wall light by the window that I did not see. I inadvertently leaned up against the light which was blistering hot and it burned the back of my arm. When I told this manager he said he had no idea what light I was talking about and again ignored me. Very poorly run facility indicative of this managers attitude.

After driving 1 700 miles, the staff went out of their way to make sure all my needs were meet. They were very friendly and answered all my questions. Returning the truck and car carrier was fast and easy. What a great and easy way to end my move.

I selected "NO"on would I recommend to a friend because when I got there with my reservation I was told that you guys did not have the size unit that I had reserved. I had reserved a 10 x 15 I was told I could have 3 10 x 5s which is not the same. That's not the surprise you want when you were going to be moving in a week. I think U-Haul could do a better job with the reservations. I tried to complete my reservation online and it would not let me so I had to go into the office location. It all worked out though I was able to get the 10 x 15 but it was not until I was checking out did the attendant notice that there was one 10 x 15 available.

Having carts to help move is the best ever. Clean and safe storage. Easy move out procedure. You could use another ramp to move from the truck to storage units. It's fine if you've rented a large truck but the smaller trucks and trailers need to use the narrow ramp to get into the building.

I've used uhaul for moving and storage over the past 2 years. They are very easy to work with and in my opinion facilities for storage are way better than the rest (especially in Manchester nh). I had some difficulties with public storage in the same town. I have been completely satisfied with u-haul vehicles and storage in Manchester, NH, and round rock tx.

There was some confusion about the dimensions of the unit. It was tall when I assumed it was long. The staff was helpful in changing me to a different size that better met our needs. Unfortunately, moving a large piece of furniture into the unit was difficult based on the hallway size and needing to turn several corners. My husband and I were able to manage it, but it was more complicated than imagined. The handcarts would have been very helpful if we had been able to to turn corners with them and the furniture. Again, our issue, but something for others to consider when accepting a unit. We utilized a shoulder dolly system (one we own, but are available for sale in the check-out area) and that was far more helpful.

Frustrating to have to run down the hall to activate lights. My unit, 1145, was in a very dark spot. Having to continually go down the hall to activate the lights qwas time consuming, bothersome qand dangerous.

I needed to store my belongings for a while and UHaul storage had great options and when I needed to downsize the storage unit, it was easy. I was pleased with the storage unit - especially for having temperature control options. Also offered pest control, so I knew my belongings were safe while I had them in storage. The location I chose was convenient and the staff was professional and polite whenever I needed to communicate with them.

Staff must be able to answer phone calls. Having to put up with very long hold time with the call center is a very negative experience and is what I will also tell anyone who asks. All staff needs is for a person to have a portable phone with them. This would enhance the customer experience. I suggest you call your local facility and time how long it takes to speak with someone at that location.

When I opened one of my boxes that contained no food items at all (none of my boxes did) there were Hundreds of ants in one of my items. It made me very upset. Other than that and the door being broken on move out day so we had to go out the smaller door. I liked the facility a lot.

We had two units, one of which we continued to be charged for while it was rented to someone else after we vacated it early - a very shady business practice. Otherwise, our experience was good.

I maintained a storage unit at this location for years (5) and only had two random events that occurred at the end my stay. The events was handled with professionalism and was sincerely rectified.

Our rates continually increased, until I couldn't logically continue to put up with it. We have moved into a new, temp-controlled facility that is over $40 LESS per month for the same size!
