Johnathan GoertzenUhaul representative was very rude and disrespectful. He refused to help clarify an e alert that was placed under my name. I was given a 1800 number to call, and when I called, the young lady on the phone quickly removed the e alert. When I communicated this to the representative he continued to refuse to rent the equipment, stating that "the representative that i spoke with on the 1 800 number, "had to call him personally" in order to rent me the equipment." He then went to the back office and called the 1800 number, and after 15 minutes, he returned and finally agreed to rent the equipment.

But then Call the customer before charging any extra fees and find out what happened. I got charged a $100 cleaning fee and the truck was dirty when I got it. Didn't find that out till we got to the apartment and opened the back door. Wasn't offered a discount! Brought the truck back with an ¹/⁸ of a tank extra gas and this is how I was treated. Somehow you need to do better by hiring more staff or something. And take pictures y'all. Saved my ass an extra $100 cleaning fee.

ernesto vargasMy experience at this location would have been a whole lot better if your employee had been a bit more proactive. I rented a truck from another location, but had to come here to get a dolly and furniture pads, since he first location did not have them. When I arrived, I explained to the employee that I only needed to pick up those two items and that they should have received a call from the person at the other location. His response was something like, "I wouldn't know about that. My shift just started." I asked him what information he needed to see if I had a reservation and we were able to move forward from there. It's a minor thing, but I feel like he should have offered to look up my information immediately instead of explaining why he would not have been aware of the phone call from the first location. It also felt like it may have been understaffed, as I had t wait at least 10 or 15 minutes before I could be helped.

When I returned, it was the same process. Your systems were just so slow that it was impossible to make money. It is clearly a bad look on your cheap corporate owners who will not pay to upgrade their system or train their workers. I'll try somewhere else next time I need a rental.

Teresa MulhollanI dropped off truck around 6:02p but it wasn't due back until the next day. I looked for personnel and I ran into a young man who assisted me. He stated you can leave the truck here and wait for me to get to it (there were trucks everywhere that needed to be checked) or you can go and I'll email you your recipe. I asked is there an extra charge for that, he said no. I took a video of the truck and put more gas than when I received it. But yet my card was charged extra. I'm waiting for them to open and ask why.

He and the assistant manager here are the reason I moved my stuff out to another company's facility. They were both very rude and condescending as well as highly disrespectful. I even had a friend rent a truck from this location and she too had the same experience with the manager being rude from the get go. Look at the google reviews for this location and you'll the same sentiment left by others in regards to the manager here. I will never use U-Haul again because of him.

The community around this brand is not a wealthy one and I can only surmise that this man feels he can treat people any way he likes. I would never return to this Uhaul and would make it clear to anyone who asked that it would be better to go to any other truck rental or storage facility rather than to deal with this man whose business model seems to be augmenting his income by cheating customers.

Herbert WashingtonI was handed the truck and told to inspect any damages or problems with the truck. After I adjusted the seat position, but before I had time to adjust rear view mirrors or walk around the truck to do my inspection and further familiarize myself with control panel accessories, I was rushed by another worker trying to move a truck behind me. He was utterly impatient and showed disgust to me as I could not move the truck fast enough. In the end, I moved out of the parking lot in a sort of panic mode because the pressure from the rude employees. You can't expect anyone renting a U-Haul truck is comfortable with truck driving in a snap and then rush your customers out of parking lot in a few minutes. If the space is limited, try to park the truck away from the driveway so that your customers at least have time to figure things out in their own pace. In addition, the windshield is very dirty and washing fluid is non-existent.

There was no mention of a extra deposit or using your credit card versus your debit card so I had to get a larger truck which I did not need and the instructions was not registered for my storage unit, so when I try to sign in with the code. It did not let me sign in…overall experience was good, but those were just simple details that was not mentioned online at all. I received several emails and confirmations, but nothing was mentioned about those.

The after hours access is wonderful. We always use this Uhaul storage facility when we're in Austin. Never had a problem, and when I made a mistake, the staff fixed it beautifully for me. I hate moving, but this place really helps me out so much!

To my surprise my 2 TV's, my bed and a nice desk were taken. Yes, there are cameras, but they didn't seem to capture visuals on the thief. Plus, I had to pay for a whole month for 5 days before I was moving out with no refund. I'm terribly disappointed.

She is kind and patient and she solved all my problems when I messed up an online reservation. My move would have been so difficult and she cheerfully and helpfully got me a truck and handled all the paperwork and online stuff. Thank you so much! Both times I used this facility she was there and was so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The storage facility is great, too. Easy in and out with our stuff. Huge elevator and lots of dollies to move. I was surprised at how quickly we could load and unload the unit.

Holly Elizabeth Nederveled | Premières impressionsTLDR; Do not recommend this location, save yourself and go somewhere else. I would not choose this facility again. I reserved my unit online, which was a very smooth process, but it was in person moving in where I learned what a mistake I had made. First, they tried to get out of the one month free rent (which I was due, given my one-way truck reservation through UHaul), and had to end up calling the manager (who was not on-site) to make sure that it was okay for them to give it to me. After confirming all of that, buying the lock for the storage unit, and going through the final booking for my unit, I was shown my unit and then informed that the access hours ARE NOT WHAT IS LISTED ONLINE. My access hours would actually be the location's office hours (7am-7pm Monday-Saturday and 9am-5pm Sunday, instead of the listed 5am-10pm). They changed their access hours sometime "in the last year or two due to multiple break-ins of their units". My representative repeatedly told me "I wouldn't put anything of value in your unit if I was you". After learning about that, I was informed that their access system was having difficulties, so I would not be able to use my key code to get into the storage building to access my storage unit. Instead, I would have to get the manager or another representative to open the storage building door for me each time I wanted in. When I asked when that issue would be fixed, my representative said he was unable to give me any sort of timeline (days? weeks? months?), only that they were working on it and it would "hopefully be fixed soon". My representative's code worked, and while we were talking about this, several other people were able to use their codes to access the building. Maybe it was because I have a new code? He was sure my code wouldn't work, but was unsure why, and it felt super shady. I tried my access code later, and sure enough it did not work. To top everything else off, the interior temperature of the building was sitting just above 90 degrees. There is a sign on the wall that shows a thermometer and says "For your comfort this storage area is kept between 65 and 85 degrees". It was cooler than the 102 degrees outside, but given I'm paying extra for a climate controlled unit, it would be really nice if they actually kept it within their stated acceptable temperature range. To sum up, I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone. I was talked down to the whole time, and the whole interaction felt really shady. Also I would have chosen a different location had I known about the multiple break-ins of storage units! If I had known what I know now, I would not have gone here. TLDR; Do not recommend, save yourself and go somewhere else.

She referred me to her manager for the storage unit, but he initially wanted me to pay for a new 5*5 reservation rather than checking me in to the 5*10 one I reserved as part of the one way rental. When I told him one of the car carrier tie down straps was torn shorter than the other but the staff at the original U-Haul attached and tightened the short one for me, he rudely grilled me saying he was going to check and double check for any marks that he can attribute to me as an unreported accident and that the safemove insurance would not be valid if he could find a scratch. No, I didn't have any accidents in it, but we definitely left the side-view mirrors cleaner and better aligned than how they started out. Both the storage unit manager and my new apartment manager said that the U-Haul storage facility is in a bad neighborhood in terms of break ins.

She then put me on hold but before said she was getting someone to better assist me. Another girl got on the phone and was professional at first but then began to cut me off the. Telling me it was my fault o should have taken a picture of my mileage. Things got more rude then she put me on hold I hung up she kept calling me back finally when I answered I asked to speak to her supervisor she was arguing with me about that. She then got a man on the phone claiming to be a supervisor but wouldn't give me his name so he hung up on me. I never had this experience before until now I have used U-Haul for 20 plus years and never had anyone rude or disrespectful. I will be sending an email to Henry. Y'all need to hire professional staff..

WHAT IS THE POINT OF A RESERVATION SYSTEM IF THE ONLINE RESERVATION IS NOT HONORED! I am lucky they were able to help me find another unit nearby although I am now paying more than I had initially intended to for a unit of the same size. Great staff, terrible reservation system. I am never recommending a uhaul storage unit to anyone and will never use uhaul storage or anything uhaul again. Moving is already a stressful experience, and finding out that the unit you reserved is no longer available when all your furniture is a truck in the parking lot is even more stressful . Awful, irresponsible, and unbelievably unreliable.

Constantly grabbing at center of mask with bare hands and touching everything from paperwork to cards being exchanged. Felt so uncomfortable, as I am moving due to losing family to COVID and and trying to be cautious when this made that impossible. Also given a unit that already had a lock on it and that caused even more issues. I would not recommend this location to anyone based on these actions and the manner workers presented themselves in. I am only grateful for the young woman who fixed the storage unit access issue as fast as possible. Although this also left me with a unit in the very back when mine was originally in the front.
