Ezra BasomEvery single time I use your service, and you are pretty much the only game in town, I get screwed over. Your odometer is off, your truck gets 2 miles to the gallon. Literally. Literally. I drove 10 miles and I had to put in 2 gallons worth of gas. You do the math. I'm sick of your lack of employees, the poorly trained and overworked employees. The numerous arduous and specious reckonings with your outdated operating system. I hate it. I wish there was a competition but there isn't. So I just keep getting screwed.
Allison HarklessOVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS BAD AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY PAID. I sent an email about this. 1. Pick-up took 40 mins due to system issue. It delayed my move significantly. 2. Vehicle had less than 1/4 of gas!! 3. Vehicle gas pump issues - had to go to 2 gas stations but still unable to pump gas. Hence, it got more expensive for me because the location charged me more per gallon. 4. Drop off took another 30 mins considering I was second in line because there were only 2 people in the location and the guy Jose talked too much with the other customer and was not very helpful when I reported my issues. (Natalie was good though but had limited authority)

Nathan CampbellI ordered a furniture mover. Not only did I not get it. But was charged for it and not having it made my move much much harder. Second I was charge for gas when I received the truck. It was slightly less than A quarter. I drove 38 miles and put $20 gas but was still charge an extra $30 for fuel service. Now I understand that she was the only person working at the times and no one came and verified how much fuel was in the truck or was all my equipment I rented was present when I took it. I believe I was over charged and if there were other truck rental for moving I would not come back to uhaul and would not recommend it to anyone in the future.. I did not return to the store location to dispute this is because the move was stressful enough and i do not have the times to go there and argue my side just to get most likely be denied my over charged service and fees.

Don SalisburyI tried multiple times to use the app for an after hours return but kept getting error messages about the pictures that it required to take so I was unable to finish the return information. I took my own pictures just in case there was any question. The cargo van I used had a check engine light come on (low engine oil) a few miles before I returned it. I tried to report this through the app, but as noted earlier, the app wouldn't work for me. Other than those two issues the van was clean and reliable and the staff was great. They were very helpful and accommodating. Merci.

You really need to inspect fuel tanks - this is the second time this has happened to me. Fuel thieves are a real thing in Seattle. Owner of the location is friendly and very helpful, however I wish I knew the state of the truck before I risked my life driving it.

Hannah BrittEveryone I worked with from UHaul were spectacular. They were all friendly and did a great job. That being said, my UBox experience came with unexpected issues. Firstly, I was told the fork lift at the closest UHaul station was broken the night before I was supposed to load them up. This meant I had to drive double the distance and rent a larger truck to complete my move. So, of course, that cost me more. Then, I was told I had two days (Tuesday -Thursday) to access my UBoxes. I even made sure to clarify that I would be able to access them on Thursday because I knew I had stuff I needed to load up last second. I got one Ubox completely packed and had about half of the other one packed with the intention of loading up the rest Thursday. I arrived Thursday morning only to find out that my UBoxes were already gone with zero communication with me. So, I loaded as much of my stuff as possible in my car. However, I did have to leave a lot of it in Seattle just to replace it once I got to Arizona: This obviously cost me more and really added a lot of unnecessary stress. Finally, my UBoxes were delivered on time. but I do believe that they would have been forgotten if I didn't call in to get a status update. One or two of the individuals I spoke with seem confused on why a scheduler hadn't reached out to me sooner. My sister has actually used UBox a couple weeks before me and she was delighted to have her boxes come early while mine were delivered on the last day. I understand the Duwamish location may be busier but it still seemed odd to have it pushed to the last possible day and with no communication until I reached out. Overall, I think the UBox idea is a great concept but lack of clarity and communication made it all unnecessarily stressful and cost me more than I expected. Once again, everyone I interacted with was spectacular. I just think UHaul hasn't quite refined it's UBox program yet.

oumer ahmedThe location was not ideal because I have a location right next to my home that never seems to have the equipment I want. So, that's frustrating. More frustrating is that I can't return the equipment to the location closest to my home, which again, would be ideal. I can't figure out why that is not possible in this digitized world. The best part of my experience was dealing with the Individual that helped us, whose first name was "sugar" as written on his name tag. He was polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful with both pick up, and drop off. A true professional, and a strong reflection on U-Haul.

Debbie ParquetteStaff over charges and misreports gasoline level if you get upset because they take forever to acknowledged you. A spiteful staff member that took 15 -20 minutes to acknowledge me misreported the gasoline content in response to me say that I was leaving and declined to move the truck where he wanted. I said he could do it as I was leaving.

Derrick SandersThey wanted me to agree, repeatedly, to a minimum charge of $60 if I used my debit card on a 5' x 8' trailer rental for $18,95 as how it was reserved. Why was this!!!??? He said he got this complaint all the time mentioning the word "deposit" and finally offered to run my debit as a credit and it went through at the 18,95 reserved price. If he got this complaint all the time, then why did he have me attempt to have me agree with the $60 debit minumum repeatedly mentioning the word "deposit"? This location is a total SCAM!!! This comment will be copied to every single site I can think of that rates this site.

Robert LaRoseProvide better customer service My uboxes did not arrive on time nor to the correct facility selected when setting up the service to ship items cross country; I had to track down the boxes and have them re-routed to the correct facility. The movers u-haul suggested arrived an hr and a half late to pack up the uboxes, which in turn threw a wrench into the entire day and flights were missed due to their tardiness After tracking down the uboxes which were delivered and left at the wrong uhaul location, I had to then request to have them delivered to the correct facility which was listed in the contract; received nothing but attitude and sass from employees/customer service reps. Items arrived in metal container with a cover and wooden crate like container with no cover. Everything in wooden container was covered in mold spores, family heirloom pieces of furniture were busted and everything in that pod seemed to be thrown around. 75 % of the plastic rubber-made bins packed of items, their lids, handles and/or sides were all busted with my packed items strewn all over the place; to which I now have to replace all those bins Worst experience ever. Will not be using or recommending U-Haul to anyone for their storage or moving needs. To pay almost $5 000 to move across country but then having to track down my items and not be provided any updates when advised they're looking into it and will call me back but then receive no follow up; super unprofessional I will say, the owner, John, from U-Haul at Othello Station in WA - he was a delight to work with, very helpful and professional

We had a U-Box shipped to this location from Boston, and everything was ready for us on arrival, and they even were able to adjust the reservation of the pickup truck on the fly to help make our day go easier. Whenever we move back to Boston eventually, I'll certainly be going back to this location.

It's 24hr access to criminals. Several of us including myself storage units were ROBBED of all our belongings.There is no security at this location. John Stevens, the General Manager, is unprofessional and irresponsible. He actually let's the homeless sleep, and come and go as they please. he seems very shady. Some of the workers at the front desk are very confrontational and unprofessional as well. I have never experienced anything like this in my whole life. WOW!! I was told by two men working at the facility, that it was an inside Job for sure, because my lock was not damaged, it was LOCKED BACK after merchandise was stolen. A thief that was curtious enough to lock my storage back up for me. Note: no one has a copy of my keys, but me. What's so ironic is that i found some of my belongings in an storage locker behind my storage with no lock on it. I lifted up the door and what do you know. Some of my things. Crazy, right? The worst part of this is my daughter's ERN along with her ASHES, were inside one of the boxes that were stolen. Who ever did this, I want you to know that this really hurts You can have anything material of mine, but please bring back my daughter's ERN. That's all I have left of her. I promise I won't press charges. Merci

There were no notes in the account and I was told it was because I had a different lock on it. The lock that was given to me did not fit on the storage so one of your workers, Rob sold me a lock. I had to have a worker drill the lock off while my movers were waiting. Maybe if Rob wasn't so worried about getting my phone number and asking to take me out, he could have done his job correctly.

Second vehicle would not drive straight it had a crooked front wheel turned right by itself had to return it unload to another vehicle. Third vehicle kept getting warning lights on the dashboard twice the vehicle would overrev requiring us to pull over and stop the oil pressure gage would peg out when I checked the oil it was sludge had to add oil twice along the way. We are very disappointed and exhausted from the trip would like to be compensated for our troubles. Merci.
