Picking up the tow dolly was an easy and friendly experience. The gentleman who checked me in out explained everything and was helpful getting the dolly on my truck. The lady who assisted me when dropping off the dolly for whatever reason snapped at me when she let me know that I was getting my deposit back. All I told her was OK and she snapped at me repeating what she just told me. Not sure what her deal is but it seems like she needs to time off whether voluntary or not.

Got my storage unit the staff was friendly and helpful. When I rented it I rented 2 months so the first month was free. Only used it one month and was refunded without issue. Great experience.

I do not agree that in the application only the price is paid and in the office of the counter will be charged a different price than the application onlay

Good Morning, Here's the problem, As per normal, I made my reservation online. I received my confirmation number and email confirming my reservation. The day of my reservation, I called the location and confirmed that I my reservation was still there and I was told yes. I showed up and only to be told that the truck I ordered was not there and that I would have to go to the main U-Haul center that maybe they would have one. I said I would take a bigger truck if one was available for my same rate and she informed me she would not do this even if she knew how. I drove across town to the main location after calling and they said they could help me. The gentleman who checked me out was very nice. The problem I ran into there was after completing my paperwork and getting ready to take the keys and walk around, only for the employee to discover there were no keys to the truck he assigned so he needed to redo the paperwork for a new truck. upon getting keys and going to to the walk around, the truck itself was in bad shape. Not damaged, but covered in mud. The inside smelled of cigarette smoke with ash residue still in it. He informed me it was a recovery truck. The truck itself drove without any issues. Also, when I made my reservation, I thought it said 0,79 per mile not 1,09 per mile. I probably rent around 8 trucks a year so I am well aware how things should work. I don't think I've ever had this much issues with renting one of your vehicles. Kevin Taylor 816-262-1063

Both the lady and gentleman that were running the counter were super nice, helpful and kind. Kudos to them for staying positive when quite a few customers came in all at once and some with attitudes. Top notch customer service! Please pass this on to them:)

Have your maintenance men or technicians go over the trailer's better. A piece of metal fell off the trailer I rented. And I had to pull over and pick it up. Not sure where it fell from on the trailer. But I sent it back when I dropped it off

My reservation was moved to a closer location near me, however that was done by you. This location couldn't allow me to rent the truck the morning of, because their computer was down. I lost an hour and a half of time because of this and had to drive to the main location to rent the truck. Thank goodness the person who assist me was helpful and discounted my rental. It was frustrating that I had to go the gas station after leaving the lot to make sure there was enough gas to arrive at my destination. The gas tank should be on FULL!

There were two employees on the clock at the time of my return of my rental. (11/23/23) @ 12 pm The male employee gave us hell, the female employee whom I have worked with plenty of times before when dealing with U-haul and she was great as always! And honestly if I have to use uhaul again and he is present I will walk right out and continue on to a different location.

Ricky and his staff have been amazing! I needed to switch to a bigger unit after I realized how much stuff I had. They made my switch easy and pain free! 5 stars!

I have tried to contact St Joseph U-Haul storage for months to close my storage unit and have not heard a thing from the manager Ricky. I put in a cancellation request in October and I am still receiving letters regarding paying my bill. Could you please resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and God bless

The owners/managers are amazing people, going above and beyond any business I have dealt with in St. Joseph. They accommodated my several needs last minute at closing time. They gave me guided tour and great detailed instructions which I appreciated. This is not the first time I've done business with them and certainly will not be the last when I'm in St. Joseph, MO. I also witnessed them teaching new employees. They are kind and respectful. I hope they are somehow recognized for their customer service.

The manager of this location is HORRIBLE! He was supposed to put my storage on auto pay instead he did not and I was charged late fees more than once. Neither hm or the district manager know how to call customer obviously because I called numerous times over months and was told they would call me and they never did. Finally had to call corporate office to get anything done but yet these people keep their jobs! Time for higher management to step in and watch what is really going on in this store and start making changes because it is not good when they treat customers how they do! I moved my things out as quickly as I could because I was tired of the treatment I was receiving

I had hoped for a unit on lower level. The steps were Abit much for my sister that had a stroke. It was a bit challenging getting huge bags and totes up thssteps.

The check in was abit hectic. I had gotten the free 30 day storage. It was abit trying and tiring having to go up and down the steps to unit. I was abit disappointed in the fact that i didn't get credit back for not opening the blankets. I also picked up the truck on half tank and returned it with 3/4 tank. It would have been nice for that and unopened blankets to take care of the $4 for going over mileage.

Having to come get the key every time I needed into my storage was VERY inconvenient. Not to mention having to wait in line before you can have access to your unit.
