Diana did everything she could to help me even though I moved out of state. She was kind and kept my father and I informed. Best place for storage in my opinion.

I only needed storage temporarily after my house was effected by a tornado but the staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Jason GOkay first of all I love you all I never had a complaint with them ever and I'm 50 years old and I've been using them forever, but after getting a U-Haul from Independence Missouri which was great the customer service, I drive 5 and 1/2 6 hours to Oklahoma I make it here around 4:30 a.m. I go to regular to U-Haul about 5:00 in the morning I park the U-Haul and the trailer. The morning person came in with four cats so she must not have a man and I asked her for her assistance with trying to get my truck from the trailer hitch and she tells me it's simple just pull down the thing and lift it up I'm like okay what thing she proceeds to keep walking to check the door on the storage building I'm like ma'am she ignores me I'm like OMG I just drove all this time I'm cold I don't know anyone here except my apartment manager but she was rude very rude I know she may not have been on the clock at the time but customer service is still everything. Anyway the night staff when I drop my truck off was excellent the lady that helped me both of them were great they even help me with Mexican food restaurants I love those too thank you for being so helpful with my return.

Robert BThis location was great. The people there were nice and friendly. My biggest issue was with the truck itself. It was very sluggish even when totally empty. Being a Ford, it just solidified my desire to never buy anything made by Ford. In addition, it had been smoked in so I had to breath somebody else's cancer for hours. Also, in Memphis, they marked the gas amount at 1/4 of a tank. This is not trued since it was practically on empty. But, I still left it on 1/4 when I turned it in due to an extremely bad experience with another uhaul dealer a few years ago. Let me know if you want to know more about that.
Russell PEverything was OK except it did not really work for my needs. I need to be able to access it more than two hours at a time. So it really wasn't a fit for me, but the staff was really helpful and friendly.

gary d | Expérience généraleWhen I rented truck, I paid for estimated mileage. When I returned truck I had used truck 1 mile over what I had paid for and they charged me for the extra mile -$.98 . I know that when I left facility I traveled maybe 200 yrs and it flipped to next mile. When I returned I dont know when it changed to next mile. My opinion is if mileage is within 1 mile range, should not be charged.
Steve SI marked no on the cleanliness of the equipment because the truck had clearly been smoked in and heavily. We are not smokers and being in the truck was an unpleasant experience. This was our only truck option and we had a task that needed to be accomplished that day. There was a sticker on the truck that said "No Smoking" but that had been violated. There were cigarette burns in the drivers seat. Everything else was fine and we were able to get our job done. We don't care if others smoke, but we weren't expecting to drive in something with such a heavy odor. We both left with headaches and it was honestly, hard to breathe. Staff was friendly. Facilities/office clean.
Tiffany NOnly problem is the u haul truck needs better maintenance done on it because the steering wheel is not straight and at 50 mph has a bad shimmey besides that it was a good clean one and the young lady was very nice and I will recommend you to anyone who needs to rent a truck from your facility

Joe PThe interaction with the morning employee who reserved our 26-foot truck was painful, while the store manager employee who handed us the keys a week later was very helpful and courteous. The truck had a flat tire and had issues when making right turns. We also rented a clean and functional 20-foot truck and the staff at that time were great. With all of our closing date extensions, need for moving help, and other headaches that happened during our move, everyone we talked with at 1-800-GO-UHAUL was exceptionally nice and professional. A few calls that had to be transferred to the regional office were hit and miss, with some dropped calls and some operators that should not be in customer service.
Philip FHave the truck I reserved. I reserved a 26' foot truck and they didn't have it. On top of that I tried to get a 20' truck but they wouldn't help me out with the mileage situation since it had to go back to the original store even though they didn't have the one I reserved. Then the first 15' one they gave me had flat tires and the second one smelled like weed and had a check engine light but I used it anyways because I was tired of dealing with it and needed to move asap so my experience wasn't good this time.

Rex HThis facility appears to be short staffed. This facility has a history of staff being impolite from management to associates. If there were other non-haul rental places in Shawnee I would refer others there. This facility lacks polite, customer centered staff. They do not greet you upon entering. They do not actively seek to be helpful or instructive. Associates should advise customers on fuel level and NOT automatically add liability insurance to the cost. These issues continue and remain unresolved. This is such a new facility and I supported it when I was on the City Commission. I regret that action each time I go to rent a vehicle.

This was the perfect setup for us! It was close and convenient, and because we had to move a couple of pianos the staff set us up with a unit that was near the front entrance doors to help us out. We received notifications when payments were due and the staff seemed to always be there when we needed them. doug m | Expérience généraleI'm having a hard time answering a few questions because the fact of not only truck return which is a nightmare in itself given not knowing how to use the text return thing... can't see to read most of it or understand it because I'm used to "simple " take truck back, return key etc. Now the alarm system within is a wonderful although confusing thing especially when every time you turn around the alarms go off! Also given the fact of 2 people trying to unload and get everything into stage units are not only exhausted, but physically can't go go go anymore to get things done in a short amount of time. Uhaul is my preferred choice for rental, but this time ended up a nightmare all the way around! The young lady that helped me was great as I followed her instructions on how to set doors etc when we were finally able to get everything in units, but what a nightmare with alarms going off twice and had to call 911 because of it. This was a very very upsetting experience because we were exhausted and don't fully understand how the whole thing works. I would like to continue to use uhaul as my moving/storage company, but it's not been a very good experience this time or even the first time so much improvement would be great especially for the older generation to fully understand and have ease using. Please feel free to call me to discuss because it's totally CONFUSING!!
