Brian SI have unmet expectations here. 1. I pay extra for an a/c unit, but last summer, it was hot every time I went there. 2. This week, I was told I would not be charged a late fee, because my cc was turned off for fraud over the weekend. But I was charged a late fee. 3. The light over my unit has not worked for more than 6 months. 4. My experience with the online uhaul payment site has shown a lot of room for improvement. When I set up payment in the online acc management, the information did not transfer to the facility. I no longer bother with it. The staff is lovely and very friendly. The facility, while run down, is kept very clean.

KAYLA SReserved a truck with a ramp. Didn't get one. Disabled lady now has to load furniture and appliances alone without a ramp. Please explain why 2 trucks and shitty customer service is closing in on $1000? I'm losing $5500 worth of appliances and furniture because they screwed up my reservation. I have to drive an hour out of my way to deal with that office because I was again lied to about the existence of trucks half a mile from me. Trucks with ramps. Man at the Gordon drive location blamed me for the reservation when I cannot rent anything BUT a truck WITH a ramp. I'm out rental money and $5500 in household goods.

Boyd AAfter spending over 2 thousand dollars on a U Haul truck and tow, I would suggest the truck be filled with gas upon pick up and not 3 quarters of the way from Empty. Other than that, was great!

Robin KThey were super rude and tried to tell me that I didn't fill the gas gauge to where it needed to be and proceeded to charge me $46 for an eighth of a tank of gas. After I just rented their largest truck and their largest storage unit with insurance. Especially because they didn't properly check me in. They yelled across the parking lot and asked me if I wanted my receipt emailed to me. They checked me in properly they would've told me I needed to put a little more gas than I had and I wouldn't have been charged $46 for maybe $10 worth of gas that needed to be put in. Then proceeded to argue with me on the phone about it.

alex pThe two staff members that assisted me were very friendly! I unloaded my car off of an auto transport at this location and it became damaged on one side of the car. The U-Haul employee assisting me thought it might have been the fault of the loading U-Haul employee in Ankeny, IA. I returned the auto transport and truck at this location.
Austin SThis was by FAR the filthiest truck I've ever rented. Inside was very dirty and the back smelled as if a hoard of cats had used it as a litter box. The smell was overwhelming. I was promised a $20 discount because of this when I spoke to the guy when I returned it and obviously by the receipt that took weeks to come I didn't receive it. Disappointed to say the least.

jaleisa hI should never have been given the keys to that truck. I could barely handle it. Its a miracle nothing bad happened. I will never ever ever get a vehicle that big again. Its not the stores fault. I got what was available. But damn thats dangerous.

DARIELA LThe outside access garage doors at this location never worked the way they were supposed to. On more than one occasion I had to park outside and walk my storage items in and out through the walk-through doors. The last 2 times I was there, I was told they didn't work. When I used the walk through door, I found a personal vehicle, an enclosed trailer and a snowplow truck parked inside the bay. If the garage doors didn't work, it seems that it would be impossible to get those vehicles in and out. On my last visit to move out, the enclosed trailer was still parked there, taking up 2 inside bay spaces. And a trash can with something on top was blocking another. The motion activated lights in the hallways rarely all worked as intended. And when I moved my furniture out, I found mouse feces in one of my chairs.

When I called the store to inform them that the trailer that I was supposed to drop off at 7 pm was going to be a little late they proceeded to charge me for a extra day with out my permission. In the end when I had my pending transaction change to the correct Amount they charged me for 2 days and did not remove the pending transaction for the 2nd day they charged with out my permission. The staff was absolutely rude about my questions and told me a manager would call and she never did

As far as we knew we were not doing anything wrong and were moving as fast as we could to get all of my stuff moved into the storage unit but she was approaching us constantly, being hostile and mean the entire time. I'd like to be able to speak to someone about this experience.

I had gone through the reservation process the day prior so, I didn't presume there would be any issues. It was an easy fix but, I had grown impatient due to the stress from moving. So, I wanted things to go smoothly. Then when returning the u-haul I was charged a mileage fee of 180.00. I had averaged the amount of miles out with the customer service rep. when booking the U-Haul when we had gone over the details of the trip. She assured me that the amount of miles covered would be enough for the entirety of the trip. It wasn't.

This is the first and last time I ever use this company and I will never recommend U-Haul. The storage had junk all over the floor that I had to sweep out. There's clearly no smoking signs posted but there's cigarette butts all over the ground throughout the building.

And you guys policy for not prorated rent is a rip off I paid $90 for a unit because I missed it by one day and another was 10 days.

Kelley K | Online Move InWent to rent a storage unit. The site manager helped us. Went through the whole process and even rented a u-haul truck to help our move to storage. Something told me to check the unit before we left to pack up our storage belongings - and I'm so glad we did. We were rented an "In Use" and "Red Tagged" unit. We went back to the office and manager let us know they didn't have any other units in the size we wanted. During the whole "renting" process the manager was in a hurry which led to many typos that we had to point out multiple times. Manager admitted he needed to slow down but still rushed through our whole process. The site itself seemed great and we're really bummed that we weren't able to find a unit that fit our needs. So needless to say, we rented a unit and truck, just to turn around and cancel everything ten minutes later.

Had I not had the proper amount they acted like they wasn't going to give me my stuff. It was a bit of a humiliating experience, should've went with my first mind and not went. Won't recommend this facility or any of U-Haul

Kelli W | Premières impressionspaid for temperature control, and their air conditioners were broken all summer. There were times I went in and it was over 85 degrees per their contract. They have NO temperature logs and no proof that the temp stayed 85 degrees or under. NO one even offered me a refund. Fire extinguishers were not checked on a monthly basis like they should be. All were atleast 2 months behind and one of them were 6 months behind. the non temperature controlled side was WAYYYYY cooler and they opened the doors and put a fan in there to attempt to cool it off-which it didn't. Attempted to call/see the manager 5 TIMES IN 2 WEEKS and his employees even set him text messages for him to call me. HE NEVER RETURNED A CALL, which proves how pathetic he is at being a manager. As a manager you are responsible for talking to the customers, but instead he made his employees be the "middle man." I went there 4 times all before 5pm and each time he was conveniently never there and always went home already. We paid $172/month and a lot of what was in our storage was ruined related to the high temperatures throughout the summer. I will NEVER advise anyone to store their valuable items here because the manager is a crook and a whimp for not atleast returning my numerous calls. The first time I complained he told me he would give me 1/2 month off each month throughout the summer and he DIDN'T. He is also a liar and shouldn't be in control of this storage unit. He even told me "I don't know anything about the storage part of the store," yet he was the manager of it. DON'T rent a unit from here, it will be NOTHING BUT HEADACHE the whole time. Pathetic customer service by the manager, but his employees working wear wonderful to me, but he is nothing but a child playing adult as a manager. Don't know how he qualified for this job, but U-Haul needs to re-evaluate him being a manager. HE IS NOT MANAGEMENT MATERIAL at all.

I had trouble booking a moving truck in June 2021 and had to use Enterprise and I will never do that again. Much easier and cheaper to use U-haul. I did have a horrible situation being left stranded to unpack a large truck by myself (as a 54-year-old out of shape female) with my moving labor the first time I used it in July of 2020. That outfit out of SD was horrible!!!!!! But I took another chance and I used Mustang Movers this past June and they were great.

The manager and district manager seemed receptive at first, but did not respond to several emails sent. Lack of communication was a big concern. There was moisture in one of our units after we moved things out, so not sure if this was condensation from air conditioning not working properly.

I do not owe them and when I tried calling them to correct it I was put on hold for a long time. I never got to talk to customer service. Facility security card scanner not working. Facility was clean thou. And it says my move out date is 6/11/21. But I completed the online form in May/2021

I tried hard to pay $196 dollars for some help but it wouldn't go through, and I couldn't get a representative to answer the phone and discuss the issue. That is 8 hours Of my lifeI won't get back. The storage itself it's nice but I thinking it would have been easier if it had un loading in the back too we got a storage located in the back so to move the beds and furniture has harder but other then that is very well organized to access
