Staff is always helpful and and flexible. Very easy to work with and would recommend this location over others just for supportive team alone. My only complaint is the overall computer system. U-Haul uses is very outdated and has its problems. I'm surprised it hasn't been fully replaced company wide.

Worst facility and their manager

I always waste five minutes trying to get the app to work and inevitably have to go inside and speak to someone. The desk staff are great and helpful, but if there was literally any other company I could rent a truck from, I would. Uhaul is the worst.

Ambar Martins-MarteGoog Morning! I ask that you review the procedure for returning your vehicles! I returned the 15' Truck to you yesterday (14/03/2024) properly CLEANED!! Inside the trunk and inside the driver's cabin!! I was charged $25 for cleaning and I DO NOT AGREE with this charge! This was wrongly charged as I cleaned the entire car myself. They also charged me 1 extra mile and I can also confirm this as I have photos of the vehicle's odometer when I got into it and when I returned it. I ask that this be ratified as soon as possible. Before I forget, when I went to pick up the vehicle I rented, when I went to do a safety check before operating the vehicle, the engine oil level was below the correct level (at this time a very helpful gentleman told me helped and topped up the oil to the correct level), the vehicle needs to be aligned because when driving it wants to go to the right on its own (vehicle out of alignment) and is making a sound like a damaged bearing. I have been to the facility three times already in all three times, I've heard her refuse to help , everybody else there be more helpful to me I don't know if it's because she's young or what her problem is but it's a huge problem

A young girl came in and took over since she seemed to be the only competent person there, but still couldn't help us much as there's a system issue with uHaul that was preventing the "check-in" and I had to complete it on my phone. So after all of that, I realized there's no point in having someone at the location whose only job is to waste nearly an hour of their costumers' lives while we end up having to do the work ourselves.

KEITH GLOVERThey didn't put the dolly, which I ordered and paid for, in the truck. When I got to my first location and discovered it was missing (35 minute drive) the movers were there and I didn't have time to drive there and back to fetch it. When I called Uhaul to request they bring me one, they refused. Not putting a dolly inside a moving van is a REALLY big deal. The staff could care less. The kid behind the counter smelled like pot and the place overall is dumpy, but that is reflective of Boston in general…a dumpy city.

He achieved the task of helping me find an available space--which is hard enough with UHaul--but refused to do provide any service beyond what seemed like a rotely memorized routine. When he asked, "Anything else?" I responded, "Could you please help me move this item into my unit?" He then said, "We don't do that here. We don't move things in." And left it at that. I then struggled for the next few minutes to lift my hefty suitcase into an upper-level compartment with only a spindly step ladder on wheels to assist me. It was dangerous. I could have fallen backward. My final struggle was with the lock, but I was able to find a second staff member at that time who was much friendlier and professional. It may not have been in his job description, but he took time to step away from his desk and resolve the lock issue for me. Otherwise, the whole experience felt cold and impersonal.

When I got there, I saw a girl at the office, instead of helping she asked her coworker Edgar Lopez who just walked in from outside to take over and help me because she wanted to use the restroom, Edgar was in the middle of doing something outside but came over and started helping when she popped out of the so called bathroom she claimed she went. Edgar almost finished with the contract and was telling me the amount to pay to move in when I was explaining to him that I was supposed to have one month free according to my reservation and I have a proof of it. That was when the girl jumped in saying "no that's not true because I was here last time when you came in and my boss told you you need to rent a truck one way before getting one month free. I told her that's right but this is the proof that I'm qualified for one month free according to my reservation. she didn't want to hear it. Then I pulled my phone out and trying to provide the picture evidence I have, she said:"even if you have a picture to prove it we're not going to do it". However Mr Lopez Edgar took his time and listened to me and saw the evidence I showed him then advised me to come back the next day and see his manager because he's the only person who can approve the one month free rent. I got out of the office and decided to contact the manager because I'm used to that office and I know the former manager George and the current one manny. I sent a text message to Manny and told him the story of the girl been too harsh. Manny took his time to document everything and then recommended me to JUAN BAUTISTA and asked me to go back there and see him for the contract. I went back to the office and Juan took care of the issue and resolved it and assigned me the unit that I reserved which happened to be at the upper level. I told him it's too high for me to load heavy things up there and he reassured me that if anything becomes available at the lower lever I can switch to that lower level unit. I was so happy with the excellent customer service provided by Manny the manager, Juan B. and Edgar Lopez. All a customer needs sometimes is attention and be listened to and be advised when the service he or she is requesting cannot be provided. That's what Edgar Lopez did. And Manny as a team leader proved his leadership by asking a talented team member JUAN BAUTISTA to care of the issue which he resolved with an excellent level of service which brights my day.

This defeats the convenience in paying for storage units. Nowhere on the online booking tool was o warned there were overhead units at lower cost and floor units were $40 more! Arriving at the facility with my fully loaded for check in, My hand was forced to go with the slightly bigger, floor unit. This is the type of thing that infuriates customers and further drives them away. Bad business practice.
