The counter help smiled , ( this is so rare. These days) i met the hitch installer just in passing and he was very pleasant and said hello. Do you have any idea how nice your staff is? PLEASE TRAIN YOUR OTHER Franchises.

I understand everybody's in the business to make money.. some people are in the business to rip people off.. the mission statement of U-Haul should be we are here to rip you off and take your money.. if anybody I know is running a vehicle from U-Haul I will make sure I let them know make sure they have a prepaid debit card. So you bastards can only take what's on the card. You guys are disgustingly disgraceful.. you failed your own mission statement congratulations for being a top Fortune 500 company for ripping off your customers
Andre DNot a location issue but the price of renting a trailer has tripled for me. It will be the last resort in the future for me. Good luck with these prices.

Bodo KThe brakes were very creaky at slower speeds and there were roaches crawling around in the cab while I was driving. When I told management, they said "that's from the previous customer" and didn't offer any apology or compensation. I stood around for a bit to wait to see if they would tell me anything, but I was told I was done and would receive my receipt in my email. Hopefully won't need to use a u-haul again for anything, but if I do, I'll be checking out a different location.

James Areserved time to do a mobile pickup on a sunday at a location 5 minutes away from me. after trying for 20 minutes we had to call customer service and she said my pickup was confirmed but never scheduled. she then scheduled it for us at a location 20 minutes away without tell us it was a different location. ended up being an hour late for my movers bc the whole thing took so long just to pick up the truck

Kevin GPick up location was change or assigned to another location without notice. Phonecall needed! I was told that either 1 7/8 or 2 " ball would work on equipment, That is true, but I was not asked what size ball I have and the Technician had to switch out trailers (after I signed paperwork for another) to accommodate my 1 7/8 " ball. I was told that the paperwork noting the equipment change would be sent to me. It wasn't. I needed to make another phone. The drop off location did not check the equipment in resulting in an email telling me that I was late. Another phonecall! I feel that the UHaul quality of customer service has gone down over years.

Jodi CTruck ac only worked on full blast windshield wiper blades needed to be replaced smelled like catalytic converter was going bad fuel mileage gauge was pegged at 50 mph no one said or offered anything to comp all the issues seems like they are only consered about getting paid. I even returned the truck with a full tank witch it didn't have when I picked it up

Jeff LTo long to check in even with paperwork complete. Computers were down when returned. Brakes on truck rented were questionable. Would have returned but 45 minutes already behind schedule with movers waiting.
Craig JThere was only 1 staff working, who was going to be busy for a while, so no one could show me how to adjust the mirrors. The engine sounded like it was working way to hard when you put on the accelerator, to the point it was disconcerting. Thank God we made the 1 300 mile drive without engine issues. The steering was way off center and had a lot of play in the wheel. This caused us to go onto the shoulder many times. The seats and the cab were very comfortable. The truck bed had a light which was very nice, roomy and easy to open.
Randy CAdd a part-time staffer to help at month end when a lot of folks move -- especially when snowbirds are here. Donna was very friendly and helpful. The young man who helped us hook-up the trailer was efficient and nice. I didn't get his name, but he had long hair if that helps. We were impressed with how he handled the customer (or jerk) in front of us who was just planning on taking a trailer (stealing) without going inside and the jerk actually cut the wires to hook up to his vehicle. It was a bad situation and your employee handled it well.

Melanie FI was charged $25 for a cleaning fee!! Truck smelled horrible when I picked it up!! Said it was because i didn’t fold moving blankets!! Wasn’t told that I had to!! So that means they don’t clean them ever!! So you could get bed bugs!! Piss pour!!!!
Jason HBoth the Fort Myers, Florida location and the Oshkosh, Wisconsin locations were very helpful. Unloading inside at the Oshkosh location was very nice.
Tim MFirst of all, I did try to extend my reservation the day of drop off, system wasn't working. Second of all, I do not do threats lightly. For someone to call me and tell me rudely to bring back the truck immediately or they will report it stolen. Was very disrespectful. I would not want to have a uhaul truck, so obviously I would bring it back. Next time customer service should be better on talking to customers. Also on how they present themselves.

David SWe are in constant organization mode. We buy antiques. We move our stuff fairly often from FL to PA. We love the boxes, the organization at the store, the friendliness of the staff, and the availability of vehicles.
Clifford L5th time i have dropped off hee and the employee's are anything but friendly ....had to use a zip tie to keep the chain from dragging and this guy checking me expected me to have something to cut it off with and was extremely irritated that i didn't so he finally did and pulled the trailer and dropped it and walked away no comment no nothing ....they all are like this at this location
Dennis SMileage was not calculated at return as previously indicated at pickup. I had previously rented at North Fort Myers location and had 100 miles free per day as well. Even on prior to rental phone calls it was explained as " maximum of $80 a day or 0,49 cents a mile. Will likely use a car rental Company in the future.
Tammie GThe after-hours drop off lanes should be restriped. I left my vehicle parked against your building last week while renting for a few days, and when I returned the truck late in the evening, there were multiple trucks backed up directly behind the parked cars which made it impossible to leave. I had to wait two hours until another person came and moved their car before I could leave the lot. If the drop off lines were repainted, I believe this would eliminate the issue.
Harris JThe trailer brakes DID NOT WORK. So I obviously relied upon my truck brakes and now I need to replace my front brake pads. Not happy with the trailer condition. I want to file a formal complaint. Merci.

When I notified the staff, they had attitudes and weren't friendly. I had movers at the U-Haul location and it took them over and hour to get me another unit. My had to pay an additional fee for the movers going over the time. When they finally found me another unit, it was 30 dollars more and they refused to match the price of my other unit even though it was their fault. I will never use U-Haul ever again.

Surprise, surprise; the truck we rented was a 26 footer, we were moving a three bedroom bla, bla home, and when we got to our destination the only storage available was a 10x10 and they would make available a 7x10 for us, take it or leave it. We make a reservation of a 10x20. We were lucky that we have relatives in the area and let us use their garage.

Diego M | Online Move InThe store does not answer their phone. I have called multiple times a day for multiple days and left multiple messages for the manager and received no call after 14 attempts. I even contacted corporate and corporate said they never answer their phones. Corporate also contacted the manager and requested for them to call me and I still didn't receive a call back. I have also physically stood in the store and watched them ignore calls & let the phone ring and ring with no attempting to answer. That is the only reason I canceled my unit- poor communication skills & excuses from the manager and staff on why they don't answer the phone.

Of all the places we dealt with during our move, this was by far the best facility to work with, from the staff helping with the drop off to the manager. .

David H | Premières impressionsThe main problem is that we could never use the big door, always blocked by other pods, trucks, etc. My husband had tools and we're heavy so that was VERY inconvenient, and when asked about it, staff just replied that they didn't have anywhere to put stuff and the had other spaces they could have used. Also my card had been hacked and charged me 15 late charge instead of notifying me. And paying 95 a month for a small space was just too much considering other issues.
Sue J | Expérience généraleThe reason why I said no to the lighting was because of the fact that the lights upstairs where my storage unit was does not stay on for more than 5 minutes and you have to keep going down the other way to send hit the sensor so the lights will come on other than that my experience with you was good and I would recommend you to other people but maybe you might want to do something about the upstairs light so when the lights come on they stay on until like 5 minutes after people are done something like that.

When I arrived I found out all available units were on the second floor, the person in office spoke negatively about the call center always screwing things up, and I would have to carry my boxes up stairs. I was sent out by the office to find it on my own in a sea of buildings. Fortunately Nigel helped us find the right building, helped us get in, and provide guidance on how best to get the boxes out of our truck and up the stairs. I answered yes to the question above about the staff being friendly and helpful because Nigel truly was. He saved what could have been a negative first impression.
