The truck was partially blocked when we arrived, so anything to make sure new rentals won't be blocked in (office was closed at time of rental). The key box wouldn't slide open because the large key "tag" was caught in the box's sliding door - took me 3 minutes to so to force it open. The app gave us some issues - but that isn't the fault of the location.

The 3 female employees (including the manager) have no business being in customer service. Rudest people let alone employees I have ever witnessed. NEVER will I use Uhaul again after this experience. As a business owner myself this was appalling how we were treated. Terrible experience at this location. All they cared about was leaving early on a Saturday. Literally had to call 800# to finish my reservation and watch them leave in their cars laughing. The return was no better. Lazy and wouldn't provide a printed receipt. Again terrible customer service

Everything was perfectly run and could not be better. The ladies working there knew what they were doing and got everyone in and out quickly. A pleasant surprise in today's world! Employees who are happy and confident in their job. They all deserve a raise. I'm serious; do you know how rare it is to have a well oiled retail store in today's workforce? Keep them happy!

The girl was very nice but did not seem to know her job very well.I paid cash and when I dropped the dolly off in georgia they had no cash to give me my deposi said which the girl had told me they would. I have still not received my deposit back. The people in Georgia were absolutely awful.

We were told that equipment was fcfs despite having the option to "reserve" it online. The app didn't work for picking up the truck, and the truck had clearly not been checked. Gate was rusted shut, gas and mileage were incorrectly listed. It took us almost an hour to pick up our uhaul and we didn't get the equipment we requested

Agent and location was perfect for our rental.Was very helpful and quick check in. Only problem we had was that the engine had problems starting multiple times. Appears to be a weak battery. Return agent agreed that there is an issue and should not have been rented as it was. So glad we did not get stranded somewhere. Equipment was clean, but engine was not maintained.

This is in regards to the Sarasota, FL location. I have probably left 2 bad reviews for businesses in my lifetime. Unfortunately, I have nothing good to say other than the trailer was not damaged. The rental rate for the small trailer from TN to FL was over a couple hundred dollars less than coming back. I feel there should be a policy in place to let customers know the same distance could be a much higher rate. Have used UHaul many times but this was our last, very disappointed.

Charged me for another day when they made me wait 45 minutes past the deadline to check out. I still couldn't check out and the woman said just leave it and I'll send you a receipt. They had available personnel but said there were only two people. More walk-ins came and I went to the back of the line. Of course an additional day was added. I will never use them again.

I returned it with the same amount of fuel that I received it. Just over a half of tank. I put gas in it at a gas station maybe 500 feet away from the location. But they charged me $25 for 5 more gallons of fuel at $5/gallon. They also charged me an extra $20 for an after hour drop off. It would nice I was told instead of being told I can drop the truck off anytime and put the key in the Dropbox.

Communication with this location was terrible. I attempted to return a call from the agent looking for keys that may have been left in the vehicle I picked. 4 phone calls later, 3 of which resulted in holds / ignore of half an hour before I had to hang up. 3 additional calls were picked up by the national line and they just put me back on ignore with this location.

Isles were always blocked and difficult to get to. Hallways not clean always debris of some sort in them I had even taken a broom and dust pan and swept down the hallway around my unit several times it was filthy. Then we were not alerted when the climate control was off and our storage was compromised so basically we were paying for a non climate storage and found out from another source when I called and went into the unit and asked it was true and the manager says they had been working on it. Weeks went by no climate control, yes I wasn't told no call no email nothing! But when my bill is due no problems sending reminder and email and text? I am very disappointed as I have used UHaul storage in other states this issue never happened I had expected the same clean service Uhaul had offered and we received before this was the absolute worst. The manager very arrogant doesn't seem to care at this facility and I understand good reliable help is difficult to obtain but please don't take it out on your customers whom keep your business going.

I experienced many issues with this Uhaul location but especially with management (Store Manager named Cherokee). The office never answers the phone and it's re-routed to national with one hour+ wait times. You cannot make a partial payment online or through an operator, only through the store manager. There were two manager transitions and the 1st manager had changed my due date from the 4th to the 18th. The recent manager said, "well, that's why he's no longer the manager of this store" and threatened to sell my things on their auction on Wednesday (in 2 days) but the letter I had just received 2 days prior said I had to pay full amount by 8/1 or things would be sold 8/18 (and she was threatening 7/27). Anyway, I have never experienced such poor customer service and communication from an establishment, let alone a store manager. I then call national. I am informed my account was paid in full with my credit card on file 3 days prior(so why was she demanding payment over the phone and threatening to sell my things?! Even saying my things were worth more than my bill!!) I was not set up on automatic payments and was never informed via phone message/letter/email this was happening. I went to Uhaul to start moving my things and there's a lock on my unit. I go to the office and the store manager, Cherokee, is immediately rude AGAIN saying, "well, are you going to pay your bill?". I had to tell her to look in her system and she could see it had been paid and they are the ones that ran my card?! The day after I arrived at night and she and another employee were there when I arrived and 10 minutes in the alarm starts going off and we had to stop loading the car and leave. The very next evening I arrived and there were several cardboard boxes, garbage,a rat trap with poison balls spilled out, and a hand truck in front of my unit. I feel this was done in retaliation because when we argued over the phone. These are a few examples of her unprofessionalism, lack of tact and communication skills, and her passive-aggressive pettiness to retaliate to my frustrations. I emptied the unit a week early and will never deal with such immaturity again. I suggest you hire store managers that have college educations and a desire towards professionalism.

Understaffed and every time I came to my unit there were items piled in from of my door. Sometimes it would be dollys other times boxes and other items. It was always difficult to pull a car up for loading and unloading. The facility is more equipped for renting out uhauls than providing accessible storage.

The supervisor I did speak to was helpful, and the manager of the facility are the only people I give credit to and I really would like the thank. Other then that I will never use UHAUL again! I ended up having to pay more for a truck I shouldn't have gotten charged for because the lack of knowledge to help me get INSIDE a storage lacks. I got sent to a 2nd place just to be able to be moved and was given access, but arrived and access didn't work. Again, thank you to the manager who came out living far just to help me get moved in!! The confusion, and lack of description to help with the moving process was very unsetting. My move in process was very frustrating and pushed us back and caused alot of headaches. Then about an hour roughly on hold waiting for a customer rep didn't help much either! First time ever using uhaul and just very unsatisfied with them.

90 degrees is unacceptable. I understand it's Florida summer...but advertising a place as "climate controlled" should mean the temperature is controlled. I took pictures of the thermostat in the faciliy. Right when we got there it was at 90. After 15 mins it crept up to 94. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they didn't seem to think it was a problem. One of the associates even joked that the facility was without A/C for 2 full weeks last month. I was storing expensive, handmade acoustic guitars...

The staff took care of me and were helpful. I just wish they would have unloaded my trailer for me....lol

Access to storage rooms is limited, must open large garage door, if trucks are not in the way. The only alternative is to go through the main store with cart. Not user friendly at all.
