Don J1st van rented had to be returned same day due to left break light being out, and steering alignment not working properly. 2nd van location tried to release had so much dog hair in the cab seats I refused to take. They later gave me a 10' truck that I didn't end up using because the back space was too big and would've caused my items to slide and get damaged. I ended up wasting my time and money with U-haul

Adam MHad to rent 3 units in 2 weeks spending about $1000 in the 3 transaction first van was dirty and seats full of dog hair just discusting, windshild is all scrached up been a safety driving hazard, second unit was same dirty and doors dont seal propierty causing lots of air and noise in cabin also driver seat has a seat cover that moves all over the place(come on guys... a seat cover?臘) and last unit rented ended up getting same van (dog hair all over the place unit) again in the exactly same way i returned it...Costumer Service is totally untrained rude and poor spetially lady., I do agree is a rental but to me paying $1000 for a van full of animal hair, a tire sensor going on all the time is just bad. Will not recomend at least this facility.
Omar HLower prices, $60 for a car dolly is outrageous next time I’ll just spend $20 and run 15 minutes home and get my trailer to save $40.

Dean HThe guy who signed me in was super nice and very helpful. However, I was instructed that I didn't need to complete the survey about the truck condition before driving off with it. Come to find out later I was charged an extra $48 for missing/ damaged furniture pads that I didn't even use. Had no idea they were or weren't there and can't really argue it because I was told not to complete the survey. I won't be renting from U-Haul again.
avery vWhen I drove up to check-in. The young lady who was vacuuming the vehicles was on her phone. I had to initiate conversation. Then she went inside to grab a young man to open the gate to the rear parking lot. I waited 15 minutes no one came. I had to back the car hauler in with a 40 Ft Motorhome and disconnect everything myself. My wife went inside to ask for assistance they had one customer and on person working at the counter. It took us 1 hr from the time I pulled in to be finally checked out. No since of urgency and not enogh workers at the counter. I don't know if I would use this location again.
Monte JTo many homeless and druggies hanging around the facility coming off the train tracks. They sit and sleep in the empty trucks that are left unlocked and open at all times. Had to bring another person with me as I loaded my trailer of my stuff just to watch the trailer that they didn't go thru my stuff while I was inside loading carts to bring out! Then while I was making some trips I noticed they are paying for units inside and have codes to get in which they have the right I guess but I don't feel safe with them around the whole lot out front needs to be fenced off for better security and the lack of enough staff they stay busy inside till they rent trucks they don't know who is hiding in trucks or the storage units! And after all the Rat droppings I found in my unit from someone have food or something they shouldn't have! I will not tell anyone to rent here as long as that is not addressed. But on that same note I've had units at different companies and they all have this issue so it's not just a Uhaul problem but if you want to stand out and make your customers feel safe it would be a good thing! This is an issue that slowly started getting worst over the last year and I was part of a massive clean up of the homeless camp that was in the woods right next door and the hundreds of people we had to clean up after so I'm well aware of this issue at hand and willing to answer any questions you might have to make this better for everyone but my time here had to end. But the staff even with all the turn over for I think the 8 years I was here they are helpful and if they don't know something they are up front about it and find another staff that can help. PETER W | Expérience généraleWhen I picked up the trailer on a Saturday morning, they were severely understaffed. Waited in line for about an hour. Other than that, everything was smooth. I returned the trailer on a Sunday afternoon, just after 5:00 pm, when they had just closed. One of the employees was on his way to his car and offered to help unhook the trailer, which he did. I appreciated his help, especially since he was off the clock.
David CI was not completely happy with certain aspects of my overall experience. I preordered equipment for my move, but not all equipment was available when I arrived to pick up the truck. I had to purchase a furniture dolly from UHaul, which could have been more helpful. So, I had to buy another one from a retail store of better quality. You had no appliance dollies, and I had to move a refrigerator. You should create a system that can accurately track equipment at individual locations. The store manager upgraded me to a 20-foot truck because the 15-foot truck stopped in the parking lot. How often do you all service the trucks? The staff was helpful and courteous. You are all putting the staff in a predicament by explaining equipment availability for a move or the lack of equipment. That is not fair to them. I was disappointed.

GREGORY SThe van was very dirty- had animal hair all over the seats, odd smell in the van, and something was spilled in the back of the van. I took pictures when I picked it up just to make sure I didn't get charged for someone else's mess. It also seemed to struggle to shift and was not full of gas when I picked up. Staff was nice, but equipment was poor.
Jennifer FWhile the person working was very kind and helpful, we felt badly for her, as the location was woefully understaffed. The line was quite long, despite the lady who helped us (and one other guy) doing their bests to keep things moving. The truck and equipment were great, except for two things: the mileage was definitely awful (We were ready for bad mileage, but it surpassed our expectations in a negative way) and the gas gauge stuck as we were refueling to return the truck with the level the same as it was when we got the truck. For some time, the gauge stuck on "half" (we needed 3/4 of a tank), and didn't move again until it made the miraculous shift to "full." This cost us an extra $25 at least, and we were not compensated for the excess fuel, although we certainly didn't exceed the requirement by choice.

Kevin DI will use another company because we picked the truck up drive to our house to load and drove straight to new house and then to U-Haul and was charged for 30 additional miles when I wasn't allowed enough miles to get to destination and we had the fuel where it was when we got it and was charged for fuel. I have related a lot from you but won't again. .

Cheyenne BSignificantly raise the level of professionalism and urgency. The pace that the folks at this location work is painful to watch. I own a moving company and rent often. They are very nice, but their desire to take care of clients is clearly not there. There are a couple of other locations in NWA we use where the service level is much higher.

Olivia BI had an out of town rental for two days and I was charged almost 600$ for a rental that showed in town for one day this information is not correct and I would like my deposit back and my balance paid off please. This is the drop off location my fiancé left the uhaul.

Was told access hours was same as office hours with no exceptions even due to 103 F heat during day hours. Musty smells when walking through back section. Was difficult to park in loading zone due to trailers parked so close to parking spaces. I moved to a better storage company for the same price.

I did them online but when I called to ask questions, no one could find my reservation even though I had a confirmation number. I had reserved the smallest unit available on the ground floor. The 2nd reservation that I made with Stephanie on the phone, she didn't mention that it was upstairs...so when I arrived at the unit to move my items in I had to select a different unit that was not upstairs and a much larger unit than I needed. Cost me over twice as much. Then large unit I was given, was filthy and full of bugs...but I instructed my daughter to clean it before she checked out so we didn't get any additional charges. Then I ended up being charged for two units! I had to call and get one credited back, which was easy. However, the whole process was difficult and I will not be back.

Uhaul did nothing to prevent this and left their gates open and unlocked all the time. I was there for less than a month when this occurred. So many precious memories and heirlooms lost.

Who knowingly would rent a storage unit requiring a buggy to unload a truck piece by piece onto...push buggy 50 yards from climate control to NON CLIMATE CONTROL thru swinging doors, unload each piece, manually carry it up a flight of stairs to another buggy...push loaded 2nd buggy another 25 yards to a 5×5 unit under a metal roof in AUGUST. I was by myself! 62 years old! But I did it! I will never do it again and will warn others of the fact it was a surprise.

I called closer to time to change the move in date a few days earlier…no one had record of my reservation even though I had email confirmation. She made me a new reservation. I called day of move in because we were unable to do the online checkin….again mo reservation to be found. She made another reservation and I gave payment. Got to the facility only to find out we had been given an upstairs unit…which was unacceptable as I requested a drive up unit. There was a drive up unit available although much larger than we needed, more expensive and filthy.
Amy B | Online Move InWe had a very frustrating experience with our U-haul trailer return and check in for our storage units at the Rogers, AR 8th street location. When we arrived at the 8th St location, the GM, Tanner Theobald was not friendly, nor helpful in anyway whatsoever. He was not informative or even apologetic that their elevator was broken. I am disabled and had no choice but to drive to the Springdale, AR, due to the elevator being out of service and him having no 1st floor storage units available. This caused us to be charged late fees upon returning both of our trailers to our original drop off location in Rogers. We inquired about changing our drop off location to the Springdale location, since we were there anyway and were simply told "It's cost prohibitive. You'll need to return them to the Rogers location. Both locations were understaffed which caused us even more delays thus causing us to be even later. The gentleman that checked us in at the Springdale location was friendly and helpful, but failed to give us full access instructions, which again, caused us further delays since they were short staffed. The ONLY redeeming experience I received was from James, at the Rogers location. He was the only person that understood my predicament.

At that time, the customer representative assured me that he would stop my auto payment charge monthly charge after he checked my empty storage unit # 2263, Springdale, AR. However my Bank of America MasterCard showed a complete June charge for $65. I called your toll-free 800 number 3 times @ got two different people. The last one said the storage unit personnel would have to take care of that & transferred me. Someone answered the call but it dropped shortly thereafter. So I then went back into the Springdale office and asked for a credit back to my MasterCard and the stopping of the automatic payment charge for a unit that I was no longer in. The customer rep told me he could not do that, but the manager Miss Graham would have to do that. I called her cell phone twice and left two messages. Never received a call back, so returned to the Springdale office a second time. at that time I got a great customer representative who called a manager. The manager said he would stop the automatic payment enrollment that day and I would get either a check in the mail or a credit back on my MasterCard. I would appreciate a follow up on this problem as I have no other communication or charge back to my MasterCard. again, I moved out of number 2263 storage unit in Springdale, Arkansas on May 24, 2023 Thank you, Linda Thompson, 479-236-7187, Sunshinelt23@gmail.com

Sammy S | Premières impressionsI have had terrible experiences every time I rent a new storage unit, and the one I got yesterday will absolutely be my last with u-haul. The manager cannot be reached. The units never get unlocked when they say they will. I was forced to accept a wrong unit because no one would do their job to go unlock the unit I originally requested, only to find while the movers were on the clock that the wrong unit was so short I couldn't fit my refrigerator inside. So I ended up having to pay the movers for an extra day of work and an extra day of a u-haul trailer due to your staff's failure in the first place. Your incompetence has now cost me at least $200 extra than it should have, not to mention the HOURS Ihave waited around for your staff to unlock doors half a day or a full day later than they said they would. I will strongly urge anyone I know NOT to ever rent from your facility again, for their financial well-being and sanity.

As a result, I had to settle for a storage unit that was much smaller than I reserved and I'm now left with less space than I need.

Taylor K | Premières impressionsReservation was made online and when I went into the facility, the reservation could not be found even though I had my reservation number. After almost 45 minutes and being told several times they did not have a unit for me, one was located but at a higher price than what was given to me in my reservation. The representative said they could not override the monthly rate (although paying for a year upfront). We settled on a 13th month free and paying the higher price although the 13th month was communicated as a benefit of paying the original amount for a year in my initial reservation. At no time did the manager, Emily Graham, take the time to help or even come out of her office to assist me or her employees that were struggling to correct the situation. A unit was finally located but I could not move in as it had to be cleaned out first. While the employees that actually tried to help me were very nice, they clearly did not know how to navigate the system to handle my situation. Most disappointing was the laziness of the manager and unwillingness to lift a finger to help. I would only recommend this location because of the employees on the floor and their willingness to help customers.

They had three high schoolers working. I had to wait two hours before I was assigned another storage unit, but because of it already being late hours I was made to open the back gates and lock the loaded truck in the back (a 24 hour hold). When I returned the next day the storage unit was twice as much a month as I requested. This place has no proper security, and nobody working that knows what they are doing.

Several items - 50 yr. old toy Tonka truck was missing, boxes with decorative pumpkins were gone. One day a LARGE box with only 2 pumpkins was there - two days later, box and items were gone. We have spent a great deal of money for this and we expected it to be safe and not plundered for garage sales, etc.

You then had to use the side door but yet there was only maybe two spots to park in to unload your stuff due to all the crap and trash laying around on the side. Trying to get through on the phones was the most ridiculous time consuming waste of time! I will never uhaul again and this place just takes the cake on crappy business!

Then we had to wait for the manager for 20 minutes to come and take a lock off the unit so we could put our stuff in there. The manager was not onsite because it was 6 pm looks like the employees should have had the proper keys to assist with lock removal. The employees that were there was nice and did apologize. It was just a very stressful day after driving 5 hours there and then having to wait for someone to come and remove a lock when there should have been keys left there.

I don't appreciate the hidden fees at all. However, the assistance I received from the on-site staff more than made up for the issues I had with the app. They also helped when I had problems with other customers while moving into the unit.

Then on September 3rd corporate took two months rent out of my checking account saying we were two months behind. But according to the general manager we were current and had never been behind otherwise we would have been charged $60 for two months late fees and $50 to reinstate our storage rental. That never happened so obviously the guy that took the two month payment didn't show it on the account with uhaul corporate.

I also purchased a lock, that was not there, the General Manage said he was going to go to another location across town and would have it in 30 minutes. When I returned after 4 hours, a new staff was there and i had to explain the situation two more times and no one still had the lock. Move my things in and still no lock. My husband had to run to Walmart for a lock and still made it back before the General Manager. Austin the final person that helped me was very nice and seemed genuinely sorry about all the issues and refunded my money for the lock. Nice facility, but the management was a joke. This was the worst customer experience I had in a long time. Moving should be the hardest part, but checking in to U-Haul was the hardest thing.

The manager was always helpful when we came in. The staff were also attentive. They even helped me open my storage door that was too heavy for me. 'The u-boxes were a handy way to move from Oregon to Arkansas. The process took 6 months from the time we loaded 1st box (we used 3) until we just cleaned out storage unit this week. New guy was trying to be helpful but: rented me non climate ,moved me out of my several year unit (he asked if I wanted to take care of nearing rental fee) but rented me another unit.Noticed charges were wrong and called.. spoke to manager, he said would take care of.. got notification but money difference has not hit account.. I think it's $5 and truthfully after moving things from one unit to another I am done dealing with it. Do not want anything' or want to cause trouble as life is too short

I told the mgr, Freddie, and he went and got 2 bombs and set them off in my unit, then gave me another unit the same size to move my belongings to. It kept my belongings from getting infiltrated with roaches, and I am very grateful to him. This was at the U-Haul on Twin City Ave. in Springdale, AR.

It was the 1st day of the month and there were only 2 people on staff to handle the crowd. It was a 30 45 minute wait in line, (at least) to get to the customer service rep and this was after a tiring cross county move. The staff did seem to answer everyone's questions and didn't rush to get to the next customer. I truly felt sorry for them as everyone (young, old and those with children) just needed to be waited on so they could get done and out of there. We were there 3+ hours past closing and the crew still had customers waiting and trucks to check in. I would assume that the first and end of months are ALWAYS hectic and feel the store should be fully staffed to provide a better experience for the customer as well as less stress for the staff.

brad b | Premières impressionsOn monday I did came to the store and someone askme how she can help me, I told her that i need to speak to MR Fredy, At that time i dint know who is mr Fredy but when i answered to the nice lady; everyone silence for a minute, after i see no one wants to talk to me, i ask: " is he here" then Fredy starts to talk to me , he was there sit doing something at his computer, he talk to me unfriendly and stated that he is attending an other customer on the computer, ( I asking somebody from customer service call me please to do more details 4795309427) . again all this stared saturday when i went to the store and ask my refouns of 2 months that i pay in advance, an employee call Fredy and after the employee finish the calling, he said to me tha his boss told that the sstore do not have a sistem to refound my money and that star the problem saturday and finish last monday. Please have someone call me , in order this bad experience do not happened to an other customers

One lady didn't know which application to use to start a reservation for a storage unit and tried to rent me a truck before being corrected by a coworker. Another lady called her district manager three separate times while we were there for things that should have been able to be handled on site. She also didn't know where my storage unit was. By the time she found a map, I had already found my unit myself. The third employee who set up my unit seemed confused as well during the reservation process and had open wounds on his dirty hands, which is concerning during the COVID-19 pandemic. All the people here need to be better trained and more competent in their duties. I understand there were two people in front of me, but it should not have been a 30 minute wait time to be served. The employees seemed perpetually confused, and struggled to do basic tasks like unlocking trucks and printing copies of contracts. I spent two hours at Uhaul, when I should have spent 45 minutes, max. I'm a college student, so my parents drove five hours to help me pack. My experience here put us so far behind schedule that we had to spend an extra night traveling back home. The facility was nice, but the customer service was terrible. I would never rent anything in store from these people again. The only bright side was the free month of rent.
