The rating of Excellent shows as a zero star rating. It was a 5 star experience. The guy who installed the hitch was available, prepared, and got to work right away. It isn't common to see that anymore these days. Great work!!

To have a system that expedites equipment failures for a replacement. I only needed my rental for a couple hours at best, the equipment failed 1/2 hour into my rental. I waited from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm which caused me to miss an important event that was planned

Before departing with the 6" x 12" trailer, I noticed a low tire. I checked the tire pressure and found one tire at 10 PSI which is well below the operating PSI of 65. All four tires were brand new, so this one tire may not have been rechecked after mounting. No big deal for me since I have a compressor; however, this could have been a big issue for someone that assumed that the tires were all good to go.

In this era of high cost, inflation, and difficulty finding qualified employees, I was pleasantly surprised. Clean store, friendly staff and quick service. I definitely recommend this U haul store.

This is the second time I’ve used the U-Haul location and the staff explained everything to me, and was very friendly!!..I highly recommend this store location if you are someone that is moving and needs a truck!!!

Did multiple loads to self storage and was unaware it locked at 10. Brought our final load at 10:15 and couldn't unload. Had to come back following morning. Very disappointed in not being told it locked. We thought the code got us in.

As I've rented from this location several times over the last year or so, this rental was as perfect as the prior ones. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, Customer focused, equipment was ready, cleaned to perfection. Quick & easy in and out for both the pickup and drop off. Will definitely be renting in the future from this location

When I reserved my Uhaul, I also reserved a storage unit that I was told would be free for one month since I was doing a one-way trip drop off. When I arrived at Uhaul, the customer service person told me only units on the top floor--accessible only by stairs--qualified for the free month. We had heavy furniture and could not carry it up the stairs. The customer service person said that was their policy--even though I was never informed that this was the case, and would have probably found other arrangements. I had to purchase a unit because I had no other options at that point. I feel defrauded and will never recommend this Uhaul and will warn anyone who asks about my experience and the fraudulent nature of your services.

I would recommend only if units are ground level. The fact there is no elevator to second floor is extremely inconvenient and difficult for older individuals to access with storage contents.

All of my experiences were wonderful. Especially the move out experience with Michael Huff. He was very friendly and courteous and made the move out seamless. I will absolutely be reaching out to him for any future needs.

All storage facilities appear to be a bit pricey. But, U-Haul has the best access and climate control others did not. Should be a ramp instead of stairs. We were told there was a ramp by a rep on the phone. Still able to fill unit. Representative on site very helpful.

The facility is clean and easy to use. Big units could benefit by having garage doors and not 4x8 plywood doors. That can be a tight fit. Compared to other facilities in the area this place is the best. Compared with other facilities I have used in Detroit area this would not be my 1st choice.

Brayden is awesome! He deserves a raise AND lunch/dinner! Brayden definitely is truly an asset to your company and goes beyond the call of the job. He was so patient and kind, and even stayed later to make sure I had what I needed- which I am so grateful for because I did end up needing a bigger unit. HE is the reason for the excellent rating from me! He is awesome! Treat him right!! Please compensate him for the time he stayed over to help me. He'd already clocked out when he saw I needed help, but STILL helped me. Such a gem!

Rented a 1st floor unit, and a 2nd floor unit that we emptied out a year+ ago, and both were clean, dry and heated. 1st floor more convenient to get items into and out of, but 2nd floor access was steps only. I thought the prices were high, and I'm pretty sure they went up during our 2 yr rental. No issues with move out. Very easy.

I had reserved a storage unit and when I arrived. They didnt even have that size at this location. What shouldve been 115 a month turned into 180 a month. Because we had to take what was available. The woman working did give us a lock for free but my husband wasnt happy at all.

I rented a unit that was too small. The uhaul associate was very helpful and quickly got me moved into a bigger unit.

The staff are not the issue. They are friendly and helpful but this location is short staffed for the volume of business. I came here with a UBox. The day I received an email that it had arrived, I drove down to the location. The staff informed me that generally I should make arrangements a day in advance to access my belongings since they have to move the UBoxrs with a forklift. While not ideal, I took some things and returned home. I then tried calling multiple times the next day to arrange for access for the remainder of the items. The phones at this location seem to be on permanent call forwarding to the call center. Once that happens, you might as well cancel all plans for the day as they never pick up. I then called traffic who said they would send an email to have them call me. I received no call. If the staff doesn't have time to answer a phone, they probably don't have time to read email. I can't make arrangements a day in advance if I can't speak to someone. I called corporate, they said they apologize but they are open until 8:00pm if I want to drive down to see if they could help. In order to have reasonable access to my belongings, I ended up driving down in the evening and renting a space on the 2nd floor and unloading my UBox into it at a higher cost. Bad form U-Haul Management, bad form.

I reserved a storage unit. When I arrived I was told it was unavailable. So they sold me another one that was more expensive. I was clear in telling them several times it was for a riding lawn mower. He said it was ok. I picked up the mower an 2 hours away and brought it to the storage unit only to find it wouldn't fit through the door. So I told the clerk and he said there is nothing he could do.

I'm storing my daughter's belongings in between her semesters at school. I wasn't allowed to use the restroom at the college and needed one after a 4 hour drive. Let me tell you! The restroom was immaculate and welcoming. It was the best away game I ever had at a public restroom! The price of storage is worth the restroom alone! THANK YOU UHAUL!!

The only issue I had at one point was I had mice in my unit and I had to be there to let someone put something in....which was tough with me working. Also recently when they would no longer keep the door open or open it no one seemed to know what was going on. A few weeks ago I stopped and they opened the door and said nothing. Yesterday they asked about my passcode which j never got and af first she had no clue what to do. And when she looked at my account she asked if I set up in line and I have been there almost. 5 years.

When I got there, there was a 25 minute wait in line. We drove did what we had to do, got back to the uhaul and there was a lock still on my storage unit. The guy that helped said your estimated total will be $109. And some change he Said the exact amount. Heres a paper showing we didnt charge you yet. When I got in the car my bank statement showed I was charged. And also charged another fee I don't know what it was for. I had to call the uhaul number was on hold for a few minutes the lady on there seemed like she didnt want to do much about it bc it was after hours when we got back to the storage unit. Well suddenly the guy that helped showed up out of no where and said "you probably can't get in, I forgot to show you this part" I said we figured that out but there's still a lock on my unit,you provided me. He said "oh is there". After we got everything unloaded n I self returned the car...my final bill was $169. I will never go there again.

Cons: Top units had no disabled access. Rec'ved mult late fees due to issues with Uhaul running my card in error. Management is only avail during business hrs. Pros: Clean, friendly staff, 24h access.

The storage units are clean, and surprisingly spacious,the only problem lack of ventilation throughout the whole building where the units are and no elevator to get to the upstairs units.
