I rented a trailer for Saturday morning through Saturday afternoon. I turned in the trailer Saturday afternoon, but received a call on Monday asking if I was going to return the trailer.

They do not show you where the truck is like the locations I have previously used. You have to walk around the lot and look for the truck with that serial number. I wish I knew that ahead of time because it took a long time to find my truck, and the movers beat me to my apartment due to that so I had to pay them for that time. You should let people know ahead of time to allow extra time to walk around and find the truck.

1) The trailer had not been swept out. 2) despite bringing back during hours, the person who checked me in said they would do it electronically and send an email receipt. They did not and I had to waste time getting Uhaul to send me a receipt due to his incompetence. I was warned not to return it over night because of employee's not checking on trailers in the morning. So I made sure to return during open hours and it still happened. Maybe just a one off, maybe not. A sign of the times....

The guy that help hook up found right tail light hanging by the wires, he pushed it back in and said good to go, I told him it needs tape or new rivets, he said nope good to go. About a hour from there taillight was hanging from one wire, called them up and requested road service, I denied as who knows how long that will take, wish I had my tools with!!

Awesome experience. U Box arrived early and delivered earlier than scheduled which is what we were hoping for. Delivery driver was so nice. We didn't have much in it and it took less than 5-10 minutes to unload she waited and was so nice and took the box right away. Will highly recommend to others and will use again ourselves. Thank you for such quality service

Rented a closed trailer paid at location and now my card is being triple charged because the worker didn’t check in that day and the worker that looked at the trailers later said it is what is and nothing that could be done very rude n lazy workers

Everything was a mess. They did not have anything available when we came to pick up. Had to call and change everything which took an hour. They couldn't get us all of the things we rented so everything got changed. Dropping it off was also a long an tedious hassle.

The customer service person was a little unresponsive and robotic when speaking to me. It took a little bit for me to fully understand the procedures when renting a pickup truck. The process was relatively quick and check-in, although I needed to wait, was easy.

the initial truck I was assigned was buried under snow and frozen solid. When I called support since I was after hours I was given a smaller truck than I had initially asked for, and had to clean snow off of it myself which took me over 30 minutes. Worst experience with uhaul I have ever had. I was given $20 back for the equipment fee when I paid over $80 for the uhaul. What a slap in the face, and I never got an apology.

At first, I was not happy with my move out experience. I was sent an email saying that I owed money after visiting a staff member in the office, making them aware of my move out date prior to my next billing cycle yet I still got a bill for the next month. I then sent an email to them to respond. They did with satisfaction.

Initially, the woman on the phone was great and explained finishing the process on the app. The app experience was horrible. Maybe I'm older or not as tech savvy but I was nearly ready to cancel the entire process. It took my 1,5 hours to complete the registration and payment process. Once we got to the unit everything was fine. Uhaul, this app is a disappointment. I should have been able to finish the process with the first lady ON THE PHONE.

I received the most courteous service. The employees worked well together. Many times I've experienced where ONÈ employee needs assistance but another isn't will to help. What I experienced was harmony. I believe a business will prosper if the environment internally runs smooth. Customers pick up on the disconnect and may not be as enthusiastic about recommending this Uhaul establishment. I would recommend it highly and would continue using the service as needed. I called and made a reservation for a 10x15x8 with a garage door to store palleted items with a pallet Jack. I confirmed this a week ahead of time and when I checked in there was only a unit with a regular door. It made me change plans after I already had the load on a truck to move in, there were no more units that size available, so I went to another storage company. That company only 0,3 miles away had bigger units, and cheaper storage. Thanks to terrible customer reps I ended up getting a better deal because I was originally going to rent 2 units from Uhaul. However I will say the woman working the business that day was very apologetic and it was not her who made the mistake. Thanks for helping me save money

Quick access to the facility and the cleanliness of the whole area were appreciated. The staff are very friendly and informative. West Allis U-Haul has been my go-to provider of trailers, car dollies and now storage for many years. I'll be back!

I was disappointed at the amount that they charged me due to the fact that I returned it without taking the photograph of the gauge, with returning the truck due to the fact that they didn't tell me I needed to take a picture of this or whatever and so when I returned it ahead of schedule, I was still charge for the 24 hours plus some! so with that being said, I was not too happy. The gas wasn't a problem. Because, the gas was the same amount that was use.

Staff was not always very helpful..seemed under trained. They were nice though. I also do not like rhat that I have to call a call center to get info at an on site facility . Especially when the staff has no idea what sizes units are available and what cost is? Seems counter productive to me.

Would have liked the option to an extended day by day rental for out going customers. Extenuating circumstances may require a day or two past the agreement date. I had my locker for 3 years and would have appreciated the courtesy.

I had a direct move from Kentucky and was supposed to get a free month of storage. My reservation I had at another uhaul location was not available because they over booked. After driving 8 hours and being rebooked across town I was told they weren't going to honor it. After multiple phone calls with uhaul and the facility from which I was hung up on and talked to rudely I still haven't gotten a refund

Reserved a 1-way trailer to convey storage contents to St.Paul. After I paid, & with no call, U-Haul CANCELLED my reservation; & informed me that the trailer I reserved the week before was their LAST for 1-way use. U-Haul staff then informed me that I had NO RECOURSE. Only offera "local trailer"- I'd have to drive back fr St.Paul- I acquiesced-desperate. Storage was fine-but the rest is unacceptable.

After completing our move with the U-Haul truck we were advised that we could store the items at U-Haul for one month at no charge. This was extremely convenient as we were not able to move into the new home until mid July.

I'm really annoyed that U-Haul's policy is even if you have a reservation, storage units are first come, first serve. I had a reservation for a unit that I placed a few weeks ago and when I arrived I was told that it was given away. I then had to pay quite a bit more for a larger unit because it was the only unit available. The customer service was good and the unit was good, low stars are due to cooperate's new policy.

Not a well run Uhaul. Several issues with setting up the storage unit and then after we moved out we got a letter stating our rent was overdue. Then I could not reach anyone to straighten it out online or over the phone. Had to go back in and wait 20 minutes to speak to a manager. Finally got it straightened out. Stressful.

The 24hr access to the storage units is very convenient and helpful to have with uhaul. Should have that going all the time.

Truly never had such a horrible experience. Truck was to be picked up at 11 am. Got there. No truck they say. I ask why. no answer. Asked about other trucks parked. Said waiting on other customers. so we tried to get another truck but they wouldn't comply. I had a reservation for my truck at 11 am. Well finally 1pm Finally got a truck. Played phone tag with the u-haul place. at one point they cancelled my reservation. While I'm still waiting for a truck. I have never been so frustrated in all my life. I have people helping me move and all they had to do was wait? The man at west allis u-haul was nasty. I will never recommend u-haul again.

My storage unit got messed up twice! They said system errors. Then, I had a very poor experience with renting a uhaul. I didn't receive any indication that I needed to be there within 15mins of my pick up time. I was stuck with a uhaul that was 6' shorter and caused me to make 2 trips to move! Which equated for more mileage! They never reimbursed me for that extra mileage! That same day, I went in to pick up the uhaul, I was upset about the cancelation. I know I wasn't disrespectful to the lady, however, her husband, the GM Jose, embarrassed me in front of a line of people by yelling at me and threatening me!! I would hope this company would know having a husband and wife work together at a location can cause this exact issue to happen when things don't go exactly right. This location has made several mistakes and never once took ownership of there mishandling of my storage unit and rental issue. They just blamed the system. When you are a GM of a location, you need to conduct yourself that way! Jose definitely failed at that and caused a scene for no reason! He is a poor example of a leader. No leader should have an outburst like he did!! Very unprofessional!!

The employees at the location of the storage facility were helpful but I had to take a day off of work to drive there in person because no one ever picked up the phone at the location. Every time I called I was rerouted to an offsite customer service rep that would state they couldn't help me because they didn't have access to the accounts at a different location. Tried chatting online and was also told that only a rep at the exact location could help. Leaving messages didn't help either. I would get a voicemail with the general number to call back and no one would pick up again. Tried calling corporate and would sit on hold for 30-40 minutes at a time and then have the same experience. While the face to face employees were helpful, the experience I had moving was horrible with this company. I had to go between 3 locations to get a truck and storage facility and then the size that I ordered wasn't available even though I had paid for it online with a credit card already. Miscommunication from the company only created more issues with trying to relocate out of the area. I have driven over 200 miles extra to deal with issues from moving and using the storage facility. Horrible experience.

gave me wrong unit to start with made me move every thing out of unit and made me move it all back in diferene unit on 100 degree day charged me for 30 boxes when i had 10 wont refune money i will never go back there

My experience was fine with the staff working at the time but I was highly frustrated with the fact thtmat the 10 by 15 I had reserved had been rented to someone else. I needed this size and was not permitted to go bigger in size even though this was not my fault. Smaller didnt really work for what i needed.

Pick up was a nightmare. Only one desk clerk and line was out the door. Should be a way to facilitate picking up if you have a reservation. I get the covid angle but standing in line for over an hour is BS. Why register a pickup time if it's not honored?

I rented a unit online that would be large enough for the contents of a one-bedroom apartment. When I got to the facility, I was told I'd need take a cart back-and-forth to fill the unit, which I'd never had happen before. I ended up having to rent a different kind of unit I could drive up to. I reiterated that I had furniture and boxes from a one-bedroom apartment. When I got to the unit, it was only big enough for a few boxes. I had to go back to the office to get a unit that was the size I requested.

I feel that the prices are very high. The facility hours could be an extra hour. There is never enough staff always have to wait. I ran late four important reason and when I got to the facility I wanted to make sure that I could check out before the staff left. I think they should have oh way that they can access the key and let you be able to still use it since technically it is my last day until at least 10 or 11 because technically it still is my day instead I was locked out from being able to leave and the gentleman inside the desk was not helpful to my friend who went to tell him to let us out. Luckily there was a another employee that was outside other facility that was able to access and help us leave but we still had a couple big things to pick up and we had to leave it outside of the gate because of not being able to still have access. I don't think staff should have to be there to make sure that the unit is clean if I'm paying . They should be able to clean it out the next day that should be their job. We also rented a truck at one point and it is really misleading when they say $19 and some cents for a truck but by the time you include the miles and the hassle of bringing back the truck it was not a quick drop off there is a procedure and very time-consuming I feel that it is very expensive. I guess in a time of need and no one else has a truck a person has to be convinced that this was going to be an expensive rental and realize that they have to close their eyes about the expense of the truck. This is my opinion.

Customer service is horrible, long wait time, not knowledgeable about UHaul services and don't care of customers needs at all...I had to look for a customer service person twice while I went to make payment and to rent a truck. They pretend not to see the customer. Foul language with each other used. Horrible service!

Waiting in line for anything is an hour ordeal. Very very unorganized. It took 5 months of me giving them my information to get autopay to actually work simply because nobody knew how to do it correct
