alitza cNothing to do with this location! The U-Haul app was flakey. It could not geo-locate with my phone, and it refused to allow upload of my license photo and the odometer photo. I had to call the 800 number for after-hours assistance. That call solved everything. U-Haul has good trucks, good prices, good people. Not-so-good software.

migdalia aMy only issue is that a customer was having trouble hooking up the UHAUL trailer and was blocking the only aisle. The staff was actually working on this issue and did not leave the customer alone, so it was a very good job. The customer needed help and a few staff members were on the case.

Franklin CMake it easier to find your rental truck. I was given instructions and a number, but I never found the number on the truck and the parking spaces are not numbered in any kind of order that I could discern. Luckily someone was out there and helped me. Overall though a great experience.

ALICE TI've been renting there several times but last place 2501 was good but there is a person renting beneath us that Every Saturday he sets tables some type of equipment and it was inconvenient because of cores interfering with us going up and down the stairs. I dnt think a storage should be using for anything other then storing this man had the hallway always block on Saturday. Because he said he packs bags for the homeless I understand is a good deed, but not use storage facility for it. Merci.

Al PReturned truck at closing the guys in the lot weren't bothered or annoyed but the man inside closed and locked doors as I approached to go inside and pay for my mileage in cash I knocked and he walked away which put an overdraft on my account that I could have avoided it...yes it was 8 o'clock but 2 more minutes of customer service goes along way

Howard ZWhen renting out a 26 feet truck and is lest of the 1/4 gas tank. That is time consuming coming out to get gas before you use it. That is a challenge. Then make sure to bring it back at the same amount of gas. You guys charge 5 dollars per gallon if is not bring in the same as you take it.

MAGDELIAN MI drove a 10 ft box truck for 21 miles. I showed the employee my receipt for two gallons of gas that I filled in the truck. He insisted that I owed an additional $7,5 in fuel. That would mean your truck gets 5 miles per gallon. He dismissed me. I guess the manager finally removed the $7.50. She never spoke to me. It felt like a scam. I wish I handled myself better but I was upset with the deception

Without knowing who speed in the building behind me I called the number on the facilities card and put them on notice about what happened. She was knocking on the door and disappearing and doing weird things. Then she ultimately tried to accuse me of something called bath showering or something like that. I told her to end my contract and I left. My experience was bad there.

I highly recommend your storage facility. *Would recommend a sign for people who do not know to get out of car & push garage door button to get out of building. There was a couple just sitting in their car so confused the door was opening for them. Also, 2nd floor unit did not have any covered ceiling it was open and could have been climbed down into. I noticed the unit next to it had chicken wire on top. I purchased boxes & lock too. Very convenient and reasonably priced. Merci!

Size of room and location within facility were very convenient for me and served my purpose well. Only downside of the facility is the steepness of the entrance from the road, I had to take it slowly to not scrape the bottom of my sedan. Vans and trucks and SUVs have no issue with it.

john f | Expérience généraleThe ceiling tiles in our storage unit were falling onto the ground. I requested the manager, shontelle to get it repaired multiple times (in person, via email, via text) and she was unresponsive and never fixed the issue. I have pictures documenting about 10 ceiling tiles that fell which is a serious hazard to anyone walking in the storage unit and also the items kept in the storage unit. This problem was first brought up to the staff people working in the office a year ago and then to Shontelle numerous times with no results. The last two months of our time renting the unit it was INFESTED with bugs. I have several pictures and videos of this and all of your items were contaminated and needed to be cleaned. Based on the lack of response we received the first time we did not bother with contacting shontelle and instead canceled our contract and moved our items out. Unacceptable condition / dirty/ unsafe unit. One last point to mention is our concern over asbestos exposure due to the condition of the room and falling ceiling tiles/dust. Shontelle stated there was no risk, but again she has not proved to be reliable in any way. This uhaul location is very poorly managed/run.

Quite embarrassing don't you think. I was on auto pay with a charge card. Someone there must have entered in you system the incorrect unit #. I can tell you this I won't be back to U-Haul in the future.

One manager tried to have me evicted until I hired an attorney. Another extremely vile manager threw me out of the store for questioning a charge on my bill. I could go on and on but I think you get my point. I will say though that many of your other associates have treated me very courteously and with respect.

So, I got a unit at a different location. I reached out Thursday asking that my reservation be cancelled and the money I paid (for the insurance) be refunded back to my credit card. The representative I spoke with said it would take an hour for her to check and make sure the unit hasn't been moved-in. I followed up twice 3 hours later and I never heard back. Please send refund me my money.

I keep receiving emails and letters in the mail about all of the charges. I have called customer service about 4 times and no one can get a hold of a store manager or storage manager. They are always supposedly out. Many emails have been sent by the agents that have tried helping me. The people at the location are rude. When a customer service agent called, they hadn't accept the move out on there end until a month later. The staff at the store are always telling us that the manager is out and only they can wipe out my debt. I have call a lot and no one picks up the phone. I will NOT being doing anymore business with this location anymore. I am still trying to figure out how I can get the debt erased that was Accumulated after I had already moved out and submitted it through the app.

We had to store items for college dorm. Perks: a free month of storage, free lock, and indoor climate control was an extra bonus that allowed us to store more items than we were previously unable to store at an outdoor storage unit. Also, UHaul pricing was a monthly savings over our previous outdoor storage unit of the same size! Definitely will recommend this UHaul!

Marie m | Premières impressionsMy storage locker was broken into, I had to come all the way from NC to handle it, which cost me $1000. There were NO cameras in my hallway. I had insurance, through the company that handles U-Haul storage bin insurance. Their rating was terrible with the Better Business Bureau and had many many complaints, unbeknownst to me when I purchased and paid monthly for the insurance for quite some time. I only found this out when I attempted to file a claim after being robbed. The insurance company made it very difficult to even talk to a person, I was only able to leave a voicemail. The one time I was able to talk to a person my agent that was supposed to handle my claim was supposed to call me back, and never did. I was never even able to get compensated for my loss, some of which was irreplaceable to me. I lost approximately $3000 worth of items, along with sentimental values items. The staff at the West Hartford UHaul were always very rude and it seemed to be an inconvenience to them every single time I was there, or called. The only 2 exceptions were the day I came this month to pay my bill and a couple days later when I moved out. The staff on those two days were wonderful, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I had a pretty horrible experience with this U-Haul facility overall, except for the two days this month I was there.
deborah c | Expérience généraleArrived at the office to get key to unit and staff member said he will check the unit before he leaves to ensure there's no locked on it and it's available since they were having computer issues. Unfortunately I didn't have time to check myself due to timing and informed him that I will be back later. Arrived late afternoon with 2 cars packed with boxes to find out that the unit was locked and the items from the prior tenant were never removed. Staff member asked me to come back the next day since I arrived at closing time. Needless to say I did not return! Very disappointing experience

I had not and was very upset not knowing if my belongings were stolen. The person at the desk kept telling me I moved out. I have auto pay and and the last payment was 7/24/2021. He came down to the unit to see if my belongings were still there and fortunately the were. I was required to sign another lease with a new date and think my payments may overlap. He told me to come back and see the manager he couldn't do anything. And couldn't explain how this happened. What if my belongings we stolen or you sold or disposed of them? The person at the counter was understanding and courteous but could only offer to come back to see the manager.
