I did not rent this truck. Someone else used my information and when I called to inform you of this you did not care. But if your truck would have been damaged you would have blamed me. They signed my name and later I seen that you tried to correct your mistake you removed the signature and the other number listed was removed. I think more should have been done involving this issue. Instead of saying the truck was returned. It wasn't me.

To avoid the same hassle and those reps therefore, this time we did an account online thru the U-Haul app, yet somehow as per a glitch via the online and thru the app, we still had to look for a rep, still available early morning for our scheduled truck pickup reservation. We stopped by again, to our closest location and to our surprise this time, we were even greeted and it was just a total winback! Shout out & Props to Mr Bob!! Quateshia HI thought I was going to have an at least average experience here it quickly turned into a nightmare. My storage unit was infested with roaches immediately after I moved in. Regardless of me being disgusted by contamination I didn't complain. Things quickly took a turn when my storage unit was broken into December. The staff gave me parts of stories and lies. Told me storage wasn't insured even though I thought it was. Idk just an overall nightmare. I wouldn't recommend a soul to this location not even the company as a whole. I lost years worth of designer clothing, shoes, and on top of that all of my work equipment for my salon and spa. Expensive things that weren't protected to the best ability in my opinion. I still want to escalate and follow up with a district leader from corporate.

I get a call the next day from someone at this location saying at never returned the truck, then I checked my statement and there is an additional $117 charge. I called and they said it was due to the gas tank not being returned to the same level. I only traveled 22 miles so there was no way I used that much gas and I returned it back with the same amount I had to drive back to the location to speak to the manager and show them the receipt showing I returned it the following day as well as my receipt for gas. Someone there did not check in my truck when I handed off the keys, and took (syphon) gas out to make me pay for it. I have a corporate account and have been renting trucks with U-Haul for over two years, but if I have to waist my time dealing with unnecessary charges, I may need to take my business elsewhere. U-Haul needs to improve/train their employees on how to treat customers right, the last thing the next customer would want to do is have to waist time having to deal with uhaul representatives after their move.

The manager at this location needs to fix the system issues because many people have complained about it for a long time. I moved out and yet I am still getting letters that I am occupying the unit and have to pay rent, even though I checked out my unit at the front desk and received paperwork for it. Not a good system at all.

kingsly o | Expérience généraleThis was an interesting trip. I initially used this storage unit because it was the only one open at the time in my area. I got there at opening time, and the 2 attendants were already overloaded. Only one person appeared to be able to operate the computer, and from what I heard the system was down. Once it was my turn, approximately 30 minutes later, I rented a unit on the midway. My movers had already arrived to fill the unit. When I went to inspect the unit, it already had a lock on it. I was told that the staff could do nothing about the lock. This resulted in unnecessary delays to the access to the unit for my movers. Upon notifying the main attendant, Joe, found another unit. For my troubles, he offered the first month rent free. By this time, my credit card had already been charged for the unit. I asked the attendant what they would do about the charge, and he said that I had a credit. I took his word on good faith and left my items in storage. Thinking I would still have the account credit. 14 days later I need to remove my items, and there is an unrented U-Haul van in front of the doors to get to my unit. When I told local management, they said they could not move the truck. This resulted in unnecessary delays to the access to the unit for my movers. When I went to close the account, and explained my situation. I asked about the credit, and the attendant said I would need to come back when the manager was there. I came back another day, the manager appeared to be there. He tells me that he sees the notes of what happened, but he does not see the credit to the account. I decided to close the account. As the manager checked on the unit, another attendant tells me to call the corporate number, as there is nothing they can do for me. I called the corporate number, and described my situation. They apologized and said that they would contact the manager to find out what happened. Corporate tells me that the manager would call the attendant that made the promises, and get back with me that day. It has been over 24 hours and I have not heard from the Corporate or local manager. I would like the promise of the first month free to be honored and I would like the unit cost to be returned to my account. The delays to my moving company is worth that much.

However, that, coupled with lights that only come on as you move through the building, and that leaves the hallway behind you and further ahead of you so very dark, was just too much for me. The orange facade above the door creates the look of an opening closer to 9 ft tall. If it were actually about 9 ft. tall it would make loading and unloading my item a lot easier and faster. One of the door tracks is very loose near the top of the track and the door comes out of the track. The mounting bracket is bent and should be straightened out or replaced. We will see how the maintenance man handles this this week.

Only issue is long term budget impact - rent is month to month and rent increases can and have occured with little advance notice. The last increase labelled as "nominal" was in fact 7 %. All in all, given that only 2 increases occured during the 20 years I rented, the experience was reasonable.

For god sake. please correct that broken process... after a 12 hour day of packing, driving and unloading in 100 degree heat I don/t need the run around from a person on a phone or in the office.

I will say I am disappointed in uhaul for not bringing down prices at all, and I called to ask. I moved to Proguard and hav an alarm on my unit and provided a lock for free, and pay half the price of uhaul. I recommend uhaul consider safety and business practice of Proguard and do some changes. frederick d | Premières impressionswhen I signed up to rent the unit i gave my banking info for auto draft payments. the first payment went without hick up. the second payment i got a notice i was late so i called and gave me banking info again they made the payment. every month forward i would get an email of a late fee assessed and would have to go online to pay my rent payment. i set up auto payment every month and it never would auto pay. for 6+ months i had to pay more than $50 in fees because of their payment system never working and them not notifying me of the payment until after the fees were put onto my account. i finally got fed up with it and moved my stuff out and cancelled my unit. would I recommend this place? no unless you pay for the unit 12 months at once.
