1) I rented a van on a Thursday and on the following Sunday. On Thursday I was told the vehicle was provided with a full tank of gas and I had to return it with a full tank, which I did, after putting $43 in gas in it. On Sunday, after driving the EXACT same distance, it cost me $30 in gas from the exact same gas station which means it was four gallons short of a full tank on Thursday. That's pretty pitiful and cheap on U-Hauls part. 2) After submitting my insurance paperwork on Thursday when I went to pick up the van on Sunday because I didn't re-bring my insurance paperwork with me I was charged $25 for U-Hauls insurance. Again … pitiful. All told, I think I was cheated out of $38 dollars. And it's not so much the money as the principle but I hope the extra $38 was worth the cost of losing a repeat customer.

Keith KThe only thing I didn't like was the motion lights. It's hard to look through the unit, when the light keeps going off. Then I'd have to stop looking and walk down the hall to get the light back on. Other than that, I liked everything.
Amanda B | Expérience généraleI was give. A truck with the low air in tire indicator lit. I was told it was a problem with the sensor not the air pressure. I was told 3 previous customers took the truck with the indicator light lit with no issue. I had to insist on another truck. When returning the truck I followed the instructions on the posted sign to pull in to the return spot and sit in truck, attendant will come out to the truck. After a while with no one coming I went inside and the attendant told me "you can't believe everything you read". Second truck was good, attendant had an attitude.
MADELEINE FTruck was not clean... The tech did not do a walk around with me. I photographed the vehicle so it had a time stamp in case there was any claimed damage. Check in was smooth and easy

Daniel LI rented here twice and the first time was charged even though I refilled the gas to where it was when we rented. The second time I didn't refill and wasn't only charged for gas (it was WAY more than we used, but the gas charge was expected) but also a convenience fee of $30. A fee that was not charged the previous visit. Very frustrating.

Terence Hwhen i picked up the truck i told them i would not use equipment. the truck came with a dolly which we did not use. we moved couches and other furniture that was too big for a dolly. we were charged because the seal was broken despite us not using the dolly. tried to call to have the charge taken off and was not given assistance. they SHOULD NOT have an easily breakable seal that could be broken by furniture bumping it.

Christopher BJacob K was so helpful and knowledgeable. He treated me like I was his family. He helped me move all my belongings from Florida to Western Massachusetts. When I went to my storage unit after he packed all my belongings, they were stacked carefully and neatly. Also, he took excellent care of my car; even put in air fresheners. Also, he followed me home in his truck as I drove my car because it was evening. When he left to return to Florida I missed him as if he were my son . Thank you for choosing Jacob to help me move. KATHLEEN DNo one did a walk around with me, completely hands off.. When i first got in the truck, i was consumed by an overwhelming odor of cigarette smoke as it also caused my eyes to burn. The tuck had over 126k, the steering was loose and the truck under powered as it struggled to maintain speed, shifting hard at 4k rpms. Other than lack of customer service and an over used truck. Experience was okay.
Jacob GI was very happy with the truck that I rented. It was very clean and the perfect size for my move. The clerks/associates on the other hand, could be a lot more friendly when the customer shows up to pay money to your company. On Friday when I picked up the truck, the associate was friendlier than either of the two that were there when I dropped off the truck on Saturday.

Tammy MMy email said a lock would be in the unit because I did online move in. That night I packed my car with all the stuff and drove there. It was not. I was not able to leave my stuff. Called the next day and was told that you don't leave locks in the unit. We'll that's what the email said. If that's not what you do, you need to tell corporate you don't because that's what it says when you do an online move in. Also when we went to pick up the lock it was 6:50. The guy said he was helping the person he was helping and then was closing and wouldn't help my husband to get the lock. We used our own lock.

The facility that I dropped my rental off at and got the storage at actually agreed with my negative remarks and said they would like to see some change and they were very friendly and understanding. Overall I enjoyed the service at the facility but otherwise terrible rental, I'm glad after multiple times of check and I finally was able to find this facility. Wish I could rate on the full U-Haul service and not just on one facility otherwise the score would've been lower.

He was very polite, and professional, he even helped after hours when the key card would not scan correctly. I could not speak more highly of this gentleman if possible. He made the experience very enjoyable.

I dont like u haul advertising a free month of storage if we use their trucks for moving and then reneging on that promise. I have already told the manager that I was unhappy about not getting the free month. The reply was "sorry bro". I am not too thrilled with uhaul.

Our items were covered in mold and there was mold in the storage unit on the floor. I was not impressed at the lack of accommodation due to the high price I paid for this unit.

Nathan T | Expérience généraleI reserved online a 10x20 drive up unit for $204/month, upon arrival I was informed there were no 10x20 units available. The best solution I was told was to rent side by side 10x10 units inside. I reluctantly agreed as I was there with a truck full of stuff. When processing my reservation it turned out that to rent the 2 units would cost me $300/month which is UNACCEPTABLE. If I was quoted that much at the time of reservation I would never had rented the unit as that is way too much money for me to pay monthly. This move with UHaul has been nothing but problems from the truck rental, the moving helpers, and then the storage unit. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. UHaul took a very stressful situation and made it so much worse.
