Lot is a little confined for trailer operations. Reorganize the lot some so the trailers are easier to get out. A person that is a novice at trailering will have an extremely difficult time. Luckily I have a lot of experience.

I called the particular location that I was renting through instead of using that because the last time I rented a truck from they didn't have the size I was looking for when I went that day so this time I made sure to call that particular place to run a 9 foot van. When I got there, they didn't have any and I was stopped driving to Fenwick two hours away and back With a box truck, I was uncomfortable driving. because this is the second time, this is happened at this location. I will not go back to the Wilmington governor Prince location, and I will think twice before even using U-Haul in general.

I called customer service the day I picked up the equipment to record a complaint. The truck was parked two blocks away from the location, with no instruction on where to find it. My wife had to drive me around the area to locate the truck. The street it was parked on did not appear to be a safe or nice area to leave a truck. I quickly got in and drove off. Little to my knowledge, the back door was not latched and I had to pull over and safely secure the door. Upon approaching the back of the truck, I saw the cargo area was a complete mess. I took pictures for your reference. It took me over a half hour to clean it out. The overall experience was not acceptable.

Everyone interacted with was friendly and professional. Only negative were in regards to the truck - no windshield wiper fluid. Also I either need an alignment or the steering was crooked. Had to drive with the wheel cocked in order to drive in a straight line.

This full service facility was excellent. My original location was a neighborhood location. The single clerk at the gas station did not know what to do!!!!!!! Had to drive further to the full service facility to get excellent care.

When I took the truck back some one took the key and said they would return it and I get a receipt on line but they charged me 4 times my husband went in a lady said the man work there but he didn’t have his work shirt on.

I would get honest employees. I rented your truck and and as a nice gesture, I filled up more gas than I got When I returned it. I was totally surprised when I was charged a cleaning fee of $25 for a truck that was swept clean before returning. That is unprofessional conduct, just to make additional money for no justified reason.

I placed my reservation 2 weeks before my move in date to my new address and was not notified of a computer issue until I arrived to the location the doors were locked and I waited for 30 minutes before a staff member let customers know the issue with the computer system. Communication is key for good customer service and that wasn't me experience

The truck worked fine, however there is an exhaust leak in the vehicle. We drove from Wilmington, DE to Queens, NYC and back. We had to have the windows open the entire journey as the smell of exhaust inside the cab was overwhelming. Both my wife and myself had carbon monoxide headaches when we arrived home. Normally we never get headaches, but we did that day due to the exhaust inside the cabin

There was a weird issue with my key and assigned vehicle not being the same, the representatives resolved my issue very attentively and quickly even though it was a very confusing situation and I really appreciated that they got me in a truck and on my way within an hour and gave me some extra time to complete my move. Great teamwork between all of the associates also.

I picked-up a tow dolly when I had ordered an auto transport. There was no auto transport to be found within 50 miles. The U-Haul personnel were very helpful and rigged up my car with very little help from me. Even though the straps were applied very tightly, both of them had fallen off the wheels after a 6-hour drive. I stopped at another U-Haul dealer in Richmond, VA, and the straps were attached again. By lunchtime that day, one step had fallen-off again. The other strap did hold.

The truck I order was supposed to be picked up at 4am it’s wasn’t there I had to wait till 8am to pick it up, took it home then realize it wasn’t a ramp so I had to take it back had to wait 2 more hours for a new truck

I was overcharged. I was charged for 75 miles, but only drove the vehicle 7,5 miles. I was never given a check in sheet with the odometer read because their printer was 'acting up'. I accept responsibility for trusting them, I did not verify inside the truck. When I returned and pointed out the mistake, they first argued and stated the mileage was true, then a third associate stated she found the mistake and would refund, then recharge my card. When I asked when, she stated now. When I asked if I needed to sign anything, she stated no, that she would take care of it. It has been 7 days and the credit has not appeared on my account. I have used this location previously without a problem but after this experience will not return.

Thanks for all your help with my account. Still waiting on a refund but the staff and Taylor went way out of their way to help me with a major uhaul screw up that left getting passed around on the phone for 2,5 hours and spending 4 hours in the store, getting charged for someone else's Uhaul charges, and finally getting resolved with a credit. I recommend this facility

My father passed on Monday 6/12. His last payment date was on 6/9 that he missed due to being in the hospital. I moved and cleaned out the unit on 6/16. I'm sorry that your facility doesn't understand that and when closing the account out felt it necessary to still print out his bill for me. Really? You're all that inhuman?

I arrived, and was unable to access my storage. The code was being denied. Then i called customer service waitied one hour for someone to pick up just to tell me speak with someone on site. When i did so, the guy opened the door fro me and told me to use someone to keep the door open as my code was not working. Not to mention, i was told to come back the next day to receive my free lock. further more, there was a lock on my storage and i also could not access my storage. it was ridiculous and the service was terrible!!!! it feels like you guys only care about the money

U haul need to be more concerned about the customer instead of raking $$$ out of their pocket and train the staff in Delaware to be more efficient. NY need to send people to a viable clean storage maybe outsource if their facility is not up to par in the connecting place people are renting or storing I was there less than 25 days got my free month and went to A CLEAN NEWER COMPANY...TOO MANY GAMES , JOKES, UNPROFESSIONAL WITH MOVERS..., AND THEY COST ME AN EXTRA DAY WITH THE TRUCK BECAUSE THE MOVERS FIRST SAID THEY COULD COME THEN CALLED AND SAID CAN THEY CIME 2 HOURS EARLIER ...I SAID NO....WE WERE ALREADY BOOKED. I ENDED UP GETTING Another MOVING Company THRU U HAUL, who came with $80.per hour. And later turned out to be just like U haul...too many word games with the people ..this day and time...people are educated and, for me I will make a better choice next time...there are SO MANY Other COMPANIES...Penske, HOME DEPOT...ETC ..JUST TO NAME A FEW....THE truck was FUNE...but the service was the pits.....

You guys are procrastinators to get people to spend more and more money....connectors to other avenues of storing and dropping off as well as truthful about logging in information is bogus...still more money ensure....I will tell people to do their due diligence with other companies...This company has been in business too long to be so shiesty....This company is only good in the stat you are located....connectors to other states are a "2" on a scale from one to ten

Las personas que están allí brindan información erronea a los clientes, tienen mala actitud y siempre hay que esperar para que presten el servicio, además de nunca estar en sus cinco sentidos. Pesimo servicio en este lugar, tengo un saldo pendiente con la compañía por $240 porque las personas que estaban atendiendo dijeron que podía entregar el camión en este lugar y no tendría ningún problema ni costo adicional; esto por parte del servicio del truck. Por otro lado cuando entregaron el storage no me pidieron que dejara un código de seguridad y estaba totalmente sucio, ya que en la página tienen información incorrecta, en el lugar no tienen los storage disponibles que hay en línea.

Took me over an hour to get into my unit and had to be switched 3 times because they originally tried to put me in a mouse droppings infested, very smelly unit. The second unit they tried to put me in didn't have a working lock so I was switched yet again. Even after physically switching, no one switched me in the system so my code didn't work for a day. I also had to waste time and come inside to basically re-do my rental process when I had already did it online.

I'm hurt I lost all my clothes because of the mice. Them taking on using my things for a bathroom. Then to make matters worse. U people wanted to charge me me 25 to clean up the rats poop. I was informed on arrival that just because I had a reservation it did not mean I had a reservation and no storage units were available. I encountered significant penalties having to find other storage units and U haul then hit me with fees for late drop off and over mileage. My intent is to pursue court action for breach of contract and recovery of costs .

The facility was over run with mice & other rodents. I came in one night & something big & furry ran into a broken unit. All of my things were covered in mice droppings. My bags & boxes were eaten open by rodents. Dead mice were in the hallways as well as flies. This isn't the 1st time either. I've used them three times & each time was reassured the problem was under control but it wasn't. I only used them 4 the price but I paid the real price.

Sorry doir to access out unit was hard to open n rigged and the employees were aware n tried to tell me how to access it broken , they called thinking we exited ( saying Mayby they put us in wrong unit) when employees took me to unit because of broken door. When calling still no one knew if our things were safe or stolen . Won't store here again , yet Ellie's Teklu was most kindest sweet professional when I originally encountered this facility . But after that all down hill

I occurred more debt having to keep vehicle a second day due to storage not being cleaned out had to wait for worker in the rain until he was able to get things open... didnt get tarp I request. Most of my thing were wet k had to purchase boxes twice and move my things in alone because the movers wont move wet things into storage because the didnt want the liability of my things if damaged...smh this is awful.

I ended up cancelling the unit rental, but the staff was very professional on the telephone. They helped me locate the drop off spot for the truck I rented that was not printed on the receipt.
