Customer service could use some improvement

David AltAs a business, we use this location numerous times each year. While it is understandable that there are staff changes in any business, I would hope any staff would understand that while they deal with their duties repeatedly every day, the customer walking in the door does not. A little common courtesy and respect for customers would go a long way. While the gentleman who waited on me was efficient, he seemed agitated at performing his job. I was his first customer that day, so it isn't like he would have been dealing with issues all day. He never moved from his slouched position in his chair. Also, as I was there when the store opened, I stood outside and waited until the doors were unlocked. When they unlocked, I walked in. In my 61 years, that is usually a sign that the store was open. I was met with a scolding "we're not open yet" -- so I walked back outside to wait the two minutes until it was a minute after 7. No customer needs that. No customer deserves that. Whatever the young man was doing on his phone before my transaction, as well as immediately after, may have been work related, but honestly, I doubt that. A woman came in during the process, and had a manager label on her shirt. I spoke with her briefly as I exited, but she explained that she was in training. Something needs to change, or we, along with other customers, will simply drive an extra minute or two and find a renatl agency that actually wants our business.

Also the only location in Wash Co that I could rent a pick up truck so they have a lot of equipment available there. Easy in and out of location. Worth the trip to the outskirts of town to rent something.

Bill HughesIt’s very far out of the way and since we pay for mileage it should be closer to town where people are actually moving to because if you give a customer 20 miles but it takes 12miles just to drive the truck to the location and return it which leaves the customer 8 miles to drive before they’re being charged for mileage so that’s my big complaint

Brian FullertonWe had to spend a extra night b4 coming home . Picked up rental am to leave pm. Uhaul checked lights b4 I left said all ok But when I went to leave I had no running lights on Trailer . Did not want to make the 5 hour trip back home with no lights . but other than that was a great trip no issues .

Luis ArangoI asked for a 20 feet truck but there wasn't any available so the customer service representative told me to take the 15 feet because she was 100 % sure my 2 bedroom apartment will fit in that truck: we still hav to go back to the old apartment after 3 trips to the house with my van meaning 4 trips in total I moved an hour away so do the math yourself, the recommendations from your employee cost me time and money . Not good!!!!

William PryorWhen I came to pick up the truck the bed had about 2" inches Of snow in it. It was very icy around the truck and it was parked in the back. I went back in and asked for the van and told the customer service represenitive why. He did change it for me. I have used this location before and never had a problem.

Melissa BrazilTerrible experience with your company. It is hard to believe that you can make a reservation, come in to pick up the vehicle and be told that you will need to get fuel before you even get to your destination and that you need to have basically the exact amount in the vehicle when you return it (or waste your money putting fuel in for U Haul). There was less than a 1/4 of a tank of fuel in the truck when I picked it up. This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I understand bringing the vehicle back the way I found it, but to have to stop and get fuel on the way to where I am going, then having to get fuel AGAIN to bring it back the same way I found it. This is STUPID. Your employee is also lazy. Both times I was there he sat on his stool and answered my questions like a bump on a log. Terrible rep of your company. There are so many things on your contract / paperwork that was never told to me. I do not believe that I will use your company again in the future.

John IskanderI am concerned about the way that the hitch was installed. It is up against my gas tank and I think it could be installed a little different. I'm worried about it rubbing against my gas tank and causing a hole or it to leak and the wiring was not done as good as it should been.

sam palmerThe truck needed wiped down inside. There was old spilled liquid on the dash and on the middle head rest that I didn't notice until later. The cup holder was broken and also dirty. The breaks squealed. The service person behind the desk was great but the equipment needs servicing.
