Laura Hughes | Premières impressionsThe storage area definitely needs more lighting for whenever you make nighttime visits to pick up your stuff. The staff however, is extremely not helpful. I had a unit that I needed to get into so I could move stuff out of it because I was moving and I wasn't able to open the lock because the lock had been changed without my knowledge, when I went to the office to seek assistance from the manager, he told me that he would order a locksmith to arrive and help us open the lock because he did not have key and the locksmith never showed up. When I tried to call the office back. I spoke to someone who told me the manager would be able to assist and when I informed the staff manager that I had already been in contact with the manager, they told me there was nothing else that they could do , so now I have a unit that I can access and still has not been able to access due to my lock being changed and again I was never notified, or even given a reason why I only found out because I showed up to get my stuff. I would not recommend U-Haul to another person and even if I did recommend U-Haul I would tell them to steer clear of the location on Apache Boulevard in Tempe Arizona.

One might feel that the use of nationasl treasure is a little much and i say to that youve never rented a trailer or a storage unit from uhaul on apache boulevard. truly a life fullfing and affirming experence. i once met lal jeet singh, international man of mystery and a popular musician in india, and that experance now falls 2 places on my list of best life experiences. if i had the choice of meeting the son of doctor camron of project mk ultra fame or rent a unit at this uhaul id definitly be getting a complementory lock to protect my cherished valuables.

David Griggs | Premières impressionsEverything was fine until my "emergency contact" received a "past due" billing statement for me (and I also received one) ONE WEEK after my free month ended. Today (just two weeks after my free month ended) I received a "pre-lien" email which I can only imagine was probably also mailed to him. An "emergency contact" is someone you call when I have a medical condition -- or perhaps call to locate me if I skip out on the space. Neither was the case and I did NOT give permission for him to receive my billing invoices, nor was I notified this would happen. When you do this, you give the emergency contact the impression they are responsible for my bill that it's implied I am skipping out on. This was not the case; what a breach of privacy and unethical conduct.

They told me I would have to pay extra for that, which I gladly did, unfortunately the after hours access would never work for me. I NEED 24 hour access for my work equipment, which is why im moving out of that unit. great facility otherwise, but making me pay $10 a month for access I dont even have is why im giving 1 star

When i signed for the unit, they said it would cost an extra $10/month for 24/7 access. Kinda messed up, but whatever. Then i go to drop off my equipment after a long day of work and I get the error code saying it was outside of business hours and wouldnt let me in. So, i had to carry an entire van full of equipment to my 2nd story appartment, and it took me about an hour. I am severely disapointed in this facility and whoever runs it. I will be back monday to cancel my unit

Was forced to spend nearly 3 hours on call waiting to speak to a human in order to PAY for the uhaul. Customer service was extremely unhelpful with resolving the issues. Don't think I'll ever be using this service again
Jacob MarksonVery less parking and U-Haul 24/7 is a hassle. The lock was too hard to unlock with the code given and I had to spend more than an hour with customer support standing in the heat. I would recommend going in an open location to pick up an equipment for a better experience

I was not told what the promotion was and I felt like I could've definitely taking advantage of the promotion; which it would've helped me as a single mother. But Uhaul customer service or representative in person, did not help me with the promotion. This is my first time ever getting a storage in my life and it was not what I expected.

Samuel Mihalich | Premières impressionsI had a horrible time accessing the van - I had to drive to the next Uhaul location and ask for their help in person because customer service had me on hold for 30+ minutes. The lady at the other location was very helpful, but she had to check me in in person and follow me down to the other place to make sure I got into the truck without issue. It was a mess and delayed my moving process by about an hour. In addition, I think it's unacceptable to have a gas tank at 1/4. That barely got me to and from the locations I was going, which are both in town within 20 miles from each other. Maybe try to get these vans to have above a half tank to start.

Nothing in the instructions on the app said to leave the keys in the back of the truck after dropping off. Mainly because the APP wouldn't let me return the unit for the 2nd time in 1 month (two separate locations) Guys at the other location were rude. Also the truck was left practically empty, talking under 1/4 tank!

Wasn't aware my monthly charges didn't include insurance. Monthly locker fee wasn't even refunded. You have to be granted access by management, had we known it wasn't automatic we would have had him grant access initially. Technically, he should have just granted it then.
