I had my belongings stored for 15 months and was happy to find when emptying my storage not even one spider. Woohoo the cleanest storage unit ever!!!

Moving in - i was told could be done completely online. However, arriving after the office closed and before the facility closed at 10pm proved otherwise. I had to be seeen by the staff to complete move-in which caused me to need to rent the uhail truxk an additional day also. Deceptive. Also, told staff a week prior, called the day prior - after completion- spoke to customer service day of *with promise to expect call from storage unit and termination/ no chatge+, after auto debt was attempted, and several contact us email/chats on the app -- only to find that uhaul attempted 9 whole days after move out, to get this months rent.

My entire experience, despite a couple of minor glitches (fixed perfectly each time) was absolutely amazing! EVERY single associate I worked with, from initial booking to my box delivery driver and MovingHelp providers was beyond excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We appreciate all the professional help from start to finish of our move. While researching online, a pop up chat asked if I would like to speak to someone who could assist me. I took the call, and she guided me through all my options. I learned how I could save money, and my costs were clear and well explained. We ordered more U Boxes than we thought we'd need, and used every last inch of all 7 boxes! We hired labor through U Haul in Alaska, Forget-Me-Not movers did an outstanding job. The deliver drivers both in Alaska (Brittany) and Nevada, (Shauna) did an excellent job of placement, loading and unloading. The Anchorage dispatch and Reno dispatch team were on top of our shipping process and worked like a well oiled machine. Well done U Haul! Every single item in our boxes arrived in perfect condition.

Appreciate the flexibility and understanding from staff when juggling extended and in-town rentals. Most of the issues we had were related to the online system mixing up our reservations, but local staff members were always willing to help us sort out the confusion.

Our experience from start to finish was perfect! It really exceeded our expectations. The delivery driver in Indiana was so awesome! Her name is Charlotte. Also, the driver who picked up the empty was awesome as well. Her name is Shae.

My concern is that I had reserved several 10x10 storage rooms online and provided my credit card information to hold the rooms until my check in. When I arrived, I was told there was only one 10X10 storage room and it did not have a roll up door, it had a swing door. I was provided with two 5x10 storage rooms to make up for the unavailable 10X10. I asked what good is it to reserve a storage room with a credit card if I cannot get what I reserved. I was told that storage rooms were at a premium and if someone came in and rented it my reservation would be canceled. If this is your company policy, then you really need help with understanding great customer service.

I rented the U-box from the U-haul location on William's street, Carson City not Reno. The staff were friendly and helpful and the whole move went off smoothly. I believe the U-box came from the Reno location.

Stop using the wooden boxes, especially when there are un-used metal boxes on site, as soon as possible.

My only issue was with the elevators. The alarm would go off in the midst of loading items and this really frustrated the movers. Other than that, I feel safe at this location.

Nothing really stood out! Some of the staff was confused most of the time. I got in and I got out.

Initial move in was challenging to coordinate with an interstate move- unable to use the mobile check in and our reservation was deleted due to booking it with our truck rental and not being able to move in immediately due to transit time from Oregon to Nevada. However, local office staff were very helpful and understanding in getting us moved in, and we really appreciated their flexibility, especially by Phil the manager.

The reason I've given a split review is that your onsite service team was excellent!!!!! I had a unit I had checked into online that was cancelled but was not sent a cancellation email. My team got there with our stuff and we quickly found a work around with the facility staff who were very awesome and quick with a workable solution! Once again excellent customer service onsite wins over the remote system! Please thank your team at this facility!

Extra Space Storage is more helpful and less expensive. I didn't use the unit here and cancelled the free unit offered. The staff did not show me the unit. They did not offer a free lock. And the hallways are very narrow. I got 2 units at Extra Storage for first month free for both. They showed me to my unit. The hallways and elevator to top floors are much more convenient. Got a larger unit at Extra Space Storage for $116 per month starting next month. UHaul storage is $169!

Staff was friendly, just not very helpful at all . My only complaint would be the manager made me pay to use a hand dolly for 5 minutes to move my gunsafe into storage . The cashier was just going to let me use for free since it was only 5 minutes and the manager said No .I feel like the cashier should be manager he was better...

I rated average because you have only one option of me giving you my id...by using a photo from my phone. Employees should be able to scan it photocopy in office. Also, website is not user friendly at...tried to change my address-could not do it...tried to set up auto pay twice-looked as though it took both times, but didn't and I was charged late fees...wanted to get larger storage unit and staff could not access new bldg so I had to do a whole new contract. Finslly, two of staff on duty were friendly and helpful, one was downright rude.

The technology used to initiate a space rental is totally cumbersome, However the staff is great and very helpful, and the cleanliness and availability of a desired unit made up for the unnecessarily complicated system of signing in.

I just wish I had paid attention to the actual unit location. I am 70 and it took 5 trips from my car to the unit with two car loads. BUT the availability of carts and great elevator was exceptional. It was a little scary as it got dark and the unit was in front of the window on veterans. Next time I will plan better

Overall the process was seamless. I was only a little concerned that my pod contents would shift during transit but when they arrived, everything was exactly as I had packed it. Perfect delivery to my home and picked on time. Great experience!

Kelly and Frank in Haines City where I picked up my Uboxes were great. Easy to communicate with, flexible and went the extra mile for customer service. Phil, Joe and Tonya (I think Tonya) at the Reno location, deserve props too. These 5 people made the experience worth repeating with Uhaul, if I need to move again.

Door frames are very sharp, got 2 cuts, but lady cleaning found me a bandaid. Erica was very helpful. I had bad exp at oddie uhaul, guy was very rude, left 4 people standing there while he went outside, to get his coffee. I was asked for my lease agreement which was obviously not needed, as I wasn't asked for it at the Virginia storage unit. I tried to figure out the guy, who was picking doing nothing, apparently the manager, the place was not a good working environment. He had no idea how to manage.

Well I drove 715 miles set on having the size storage I reserved available for me because of the amount of stuff I was bringing along with me. The staff was helpful but the unit size I actually needed was not accessible so I had to settle for a smaller size which caused me to not be able to fit everything I brought like I had planned and now I have extra things left in the bed of my truck which I'll have to drive 3 hour west to see if my mother has a little space. Also when I reserved my Uhaul trailer in WA I added a appliance dolly to my order. When I arrived to pick up my equipment no dolly was actually available for me to use. Because of that I had to carry a washer and dryer and load it into the trailer and also into the storage unit alone. Staff was always nice and helpful but in the future I was recommend checking to make sure the units an or the equipment is actually available before allowing people to reserve them. If I had known I would have a smaller storage I would have gotten rid of some things ahead of time.
