JUDY NEGRON | Premières impressionsWalked in to get a unit where we could drive in and unload everything to the unit and it was a nightmare. I'm only giving 2 star rating because the guy at the counter was pretty nice . We got our card to swipe and went on out way. Showed up to the unit and could not get the garage door open. Walked into to facility as my vehicle is blocking traffic on the outside. Used the call box and to figure out why I couldn't get into the building and the lady first thing she said to me was you were supposed to get a clicker (garage door opener) well i wasnt issued one then she said we'll we are oit of them right now...why would you even being that up then? The she kept saying hit the yellow butting but there was no yellow butting to hit Because it was the emergency shut off button. As I'm trying to figure it out. I see another customer trying to get in the unit and she couldn't get in. I ran over to let her in. Finally figure out how to get the garage door open. Did all of that just to realize we were on the wrong side of the building. The other customer I let in was on the wrong floor and she couldn't get her stuff to the 2nd floor because there was NO ELEVATOR! ended up loading her stuff up into my truck and driving it up to the 2nd floor for her. Finally walked over to the fide where my unit it was in and couldn't drive up to it because the garage door was not even functioning. I literally drove my items over to another storage facility and getting the same size with easy access into the gate and driving my items into my unit. The employee should have been a bit more thorough with explaining the facility to the customers and giving them an option on renting since it is outdated and one garage door not functional to get to the your actual storage unit.

The move in and paperwork process is kinda complicated especially for someone in my condition.

The staff was always helpful and courteous. I would not recommend the units you have to access by ramp. Thank you for your business.

Michael Bailey | Premières impressionsim giving a poor review because it wasn't temp. controlled like it said it would be, the mouse their are horrible! i had hundreds of shoes that were messed up due to the mice! I don't see why nobody got back to me about this problem! Also I only wanted one storage and I was told I needed to get two and it was too expensive for the problems I had to deal with.. the door would be broken most of the time and everytime I would call for the door code they would act like they didn't know what I was talking about

There is a very very high n dangerous ramp. I fell down countless of times. The staff was rude n nosy. I paid July 27 n left August 3. I want my money back for last month. Terrible service

DARRELL ROGERS | Premières impressionsThe ramp is designed too steep and the car underbody scratches the top ramp surface leading to damages. I have a Honda Odyssey 21 model and it couldn't climb up and down the ramp without getting scratched. I'd like a call to file a claim for the damage.

Jason Pentz | Expérience généraleThere were rat not nice but rat droppings all over the top of everything I owned in that unit and a big gap in the back corner of the unit where rats ,mice and any other bug can get through and did get through not pleased at all the storage unit belonged to me Christenna Murry Gerald was just on because my ID was outdated I was being over charged on some months and years before I had a storage unit with u people same place Cameron Street and my brother's ashes and some pictures were never returned and I know by law those item are to be returned and I keep getting lied to saying they don't know who bought the unit and there were no records of who bought the unit nor did they return my brother's ashes with his name on the container his ashes were being held in the name on it is Willie Albert Murry Jr

ANN MARIE CAROLLO | Premières impressionsThere was no warning about the ramp in the facility and no signage saying a sedan can't make it. The underside of my car got dragged and nearly destroyed. If a sedan is too low to the ground there should be a sign indicating that. Additionally there was rat poison in my unit. And a zip tie preventing me from opening my unit that I had to break. The person working at the facility was kind but not very helpful especially with the ramp situation.

Only issue is the inability of bigger trucks going upstairs but I was really satisfied with the service and the unit. Carts were available to use in moving stuff from the storage unit to the truck

I showed up at 8 am to reserve a storage unit, one service rep told me they wont be open till after 9(apparently this facility is unmanned. Another told me i should be good to go and just complete my account online. The online client was so buggy and frustrating and eventually locked me out. I then had to walk home and leave my girlfriend with the couch to get a ride to the main storage facility just to get the situation taken care of. There needs to be better instruction for online renting from an unmanned facility.

Willie Barnes | Expérience généraleWhen scheduling storage and truck rentals, it would be helpful to be advised that there are numerous U-Haul locations and only the facility at 29th Street handles the transactions. We drove our truck rental to the storage facility, were not able to get in, and after calling were told the office is very busy and in a different location. This caused us to go over our truck mileage and drive around with our family.

The gentleman that work in the office were very kind and courteous but as for the women they need an attitude adjustment they are definitely a in need of some customer service schooling!

It was awful. Could never get in touch with manager. Had a problem of loosing my keys.. had problems with that. Some manager called Lily was very rude over the phone. Didn"t try to help get their locksmith to cut locks. Had to pay 120. dollsrs to get it done. The office personnel were understanding and nice, but coulfn"t help me. Robin was the best. I suggest the enclosure of units so customers properties don,"t get damaged.

I wait on hold for up to an hour and I only talk to someone who knows nothing about the facility. Because the calls are all forwarded. There have been multiple messages left for someone, the manager of the facility, to call me back, but no one has cared to lift a finger. You got my money, I cannot get my truck safely in and out of that building, I have an 8' x 8' flatbed and the facility does not accommodate that. I have since rented a unit from different storage facility. I cannot store my things in your facility. I want a refund. Initially I wanted a different unit, on the ground floor, something I could safely get to. But no one cares about my problem, there was no solution. Just messaged left with no returned calls. Where is the uhaul management team??? They have certainly failed as far as I'm concerned. I spent over $400 this month with uhaul, and I feel I should at least get a phone call to discuss my concerns and try to find a solution. I just want my money back now. Uhaul severed the ties with me, this was not my fault. I'm stressed out enough with having to move, it is uhaul's business to alleviate stress for movers, that is what you do. But you really jammed me up instead. This makes uhaul look bad. I will never hire your company again to help me move or store anything. As soon as my move is completed I'm going to file a complaint with the attorney generals office as well as the Better Business. I will also share this experience with every social media platform, people need to know about this.
Gina Runkle | Online Move InThe websites sets expectations for potential customers that are at variance with the actual service and prices. There is nothing more inconvenient that having to go to one location to fill out paper work and then to the next to actually store your property. However, if it was mentioned on the site, I would have taken different measures. Instead of just stating what is required on the site, the site tries to hook you in easily and once you're ready to fill out the paper work, you hear a different story. From my calculations based on what I saw on the website It seemed like a good deal. When I called, I was already told I would be paying for more stuff. I did call because I know that storage facilities have deceptive advertising and Uhaul is no different. In the end I end up paying almost twice as the online quote and since I took a cab, I paid twice as much for the cab also. All in all, I was out of way more money than I budgeted thanks to deceptive advertising.

The unit had giant poles in the middle of it with a giant slab of concrete and took up space, making it even smaller. Very dissatisfied. Slowed our move to the point where we were unable to clean our place in time for the landlord. Would never recommend these units. Yes they were clean but what good is a tiny unit when you asked for a large one?

Pulling into the facility from the street is dangerous; there is no full-size turn lane on the street. It is impossible to safely park and exit the vehicle to use the entry interface on the building exterior.

Akd idk how im gonna arrow that on top.of everything because I first choose where it was convent and then I was deeply unconvinced and its gonna cost even more money

Every time I would call the office it always went to the call center. I did not live close to my storage unit nor the office. I was always wasting gas when the issue could have been resolved over the phone. I had to pay a full month rental when I moved out of my unit in 12 days. It was unfair to have to pay a full month. I've had storage units before and never had any issues but this uhaul I would never recommend to anyone.

I get to the Cameron st. storage unit and realize the clicker wasn't working so I had to go back to the other Uhaul and they tell me the clicker should work so I go back to the Cameron St location and THE CLICKER STILL DOESNT WORK. Luckily a worker helped us in and I proceeded to store my stuff but them I realized I didn't have a lock. So I ask for help again and I have to wait 20 mins for it to get to me. This was honestly the most stressful experience ever and I wasted so much gas over a clicker.
