I wish the sign that your office was elsewhere was visible before I pulled in with a truck and dolly. I called and asked to get in so I could turn around and the employee said it would be a tight fit. I didn't have a problem, but I worried about getting stuck because he indicated it would be difficult.

So once again I heard of U-Haul through a Google search that said 1 month free storage rental with the purchase of a moving truck, one way trip or local trip Mesa Arizona. So I went and rented this U-Haul truck thinking that when I packed it I was going to have a one month restorage and everything was going to be fine. When I went to go redeem my one month free storage. You guys told me that that's not a thing. You only do one way trips when clearly online. Still to this day it says one way and local trips get the one month free storage. You guys are false advertising. You guys do not fulfill your promises of what you advertise. I will never come back to this company and if I had a choice I would not be currently a customer due to the fact that you guys have rude employees. You do not do what you say. You guys need to get better customer service.

Unit was affordable. Convenient, and easy to rent. Need maintenance with door railings. No rats intrusion like other storages I have a second storage with my son at this location Your key entrance needs fixing. While swiping with card does not always work to open gate. Again maintenance is a concern.

Thank you for helping me store my belongings and tools. I really am able to focus more on my work and personal life as I do not have any stress knowing my stuff is extremely secure and conveniently accessable. This is the best location in all honesty to store any valuables, tools, furniture and the team is very helpful and maintain the facility in extravagant demeanour. I have only had pleasant experiences with both the management and other tenants/customers who rent here, everyone is respectful and take care of the facility/bathroom immaculately cleaned very frequently from what I can see. I will always use this particular u-haul storage as long as I reside in Arizona and am very thankful to be a proud customer always. Thank you so much and I appreciate all your help very much indeed !!! 5 stars most definately ☺️ I would give 7 stars rating if I could...

When I went to clean out our storeage there was no one in the office, no phone number to call no help. I called a number I had written in my notes as the contact number, all it went to was voice mail with a lot of prompts ..no help to get in side. I had brought 2 young men to help me clean, arranged a trailer etc. My card to get in didn't work. Finally a worker who was inside the gate let us in, we got in , had a hard time once we took off the lock to open the sliding lock. All in all it was 109 degrees, no help no one to talk to . Awful experience. You need to have a live person get the phone, stop the answer machine, and be more people friendly, customer service is what we call it.

Very clean and storage unit was huge. Gate was inoperative and always open for most of my rental period. This is a facility with 24 hr access, not secure. My unit was locked out because I paid three days late, which I understand. But I did not understand why the lock remained on my unit for 22 days after I made the payment. Or why the person I spoke with when I came into the office, could not take the time to look in the computer to verify the dates, apologize for the oversight and offer to immediately remove the lock (it's now been 27 days)? The lack of concern about access and security is unacceptable for a 24 hr access facility.

When I call the office and told them that on 02/22/2022 would be the last day of renting the storage unit , My unit rent was due on 02/19/2022 and they would prorate the rent and give me a refund for the difference . The only problem I have is that the manager stood at the gate for 20 minutes talking to some guy who was obviously trying to pick her up. In the meantime his car was parked where the rental truck is supposed to be parked. I was sitting in driveway waiting for him to move his car which he did not so since people were trying to get into storage I backed out and parked up front on the street. Then I started getting upset because I had people waiting for me and I was waiting for a half hour to return truck. Finally I did the return stuff locked up vehicle and gave the key to the manager. She said where is the truck ? Really? It's out front so when you and your friend are done chatting he can move his car and you can park the truck. That was after I had to walk from the Broadway office to storage to pick up truck. I was dropped off at the office and none of the employees could run me down to the storage unit where I am also renting a 10 × 20 unit? This definitely was not a positive experience.

I literally had to drive back-and-forth several times while in our U-Haul rental adding of miles to get the key cards to work. I rented a different U-Haul the key card was set once and never had a problem with it ever again and that's from a different location from. this location I literally had to have the key card set several times.

Worked well enough fot my purposes Unit was dated but rent was inexpensive so that seemed fair. Could see flying insect nests along the interior wall and floor tho thankfully no live insects. Uhaul did not put my reservation in after driving over 1600 miles and 3 days to arizona, then had nowhere to put my belongings. Then they told they could find me another unit. I had to call customer service which then sent me back to the same store that said they could not help me and got a different storage unit but for more money. I should have been given the same price I was sold and then my unit was given to someone else. I should not have to pay more money.

You advertise 24 hour access as a standard feature for your facility. I am not able to gain access at the times I need to. I picked this facility because I need access 24 hours a day. The only hours listed for this site are 24/7 access, but it obviously closes at some point. I would like to actually get what I am paying for..

When i followed instuctions to my storage unit. It was already open and my lock packaging was on the floor when i was told it would be in the unit. There was no lock. I has to go to home depot to buy a lock. There were other storage unit open and there was aluminum foil with black stuff on it. Which told me that people must break into the empty units to get high! I regret getting a storage unit where people are stealing locks and doing drugs in the empty unit

Your online check in was Slow with unclear directions. When I called in to speak with an agent I was on hold for 57 minutes. Direction on who to speak to to get direction to check in to facility was unclear and Botched. The entire experience was Unaceptable.

I rented this unit 10 years ago and never visited until 2/21/21. I did not have an access card. I was not able to retrieve a code online, I was not able to reach anyone for help. I called Customer Service and they had no record of a contract under my name. I was able to finally get in by following another customer in. I emptied the storage and, luckily, was able to get out. I returned on 2/22/21 for another attempt to get in and sweep out the storage. Again, was not able to get anyone on the phone to help. Nothing special no one around so didn't have to worry about moving stuff with a mask on. So that was a plus. At this site they have tons of cameras which I liked, just hope they really work. Other than that its a good storage place.

We have had the storage for a week and can't gain access to the facility. Every time we call U-Haul for help, nobody can find our account but yet they sure found our bank account to take the $112. I HAD PROBLEMS FROM THE BEGINNING...1st it was my truck the cab was dirty. Then came the trailer. The straps that held down my car came off on one side and the other was loose! Luckily for me I noticed in time.Or my car would of been going down the fwy. By its self.then cam the storage...was not on record even though I had reserved it weeks in advance and had the reservation number.Then to find out the office was at a different location then the actual storage site. After checking in the unit was too small. Then had to call 1800 to find another place .went there and after checking in foundnout it was upstairs ...not good I have to many heavy items to be going up n down.then went to the 3rd and they didn't want to rent the space out due to it was the the last one...not until I was on the phone the lady had a change of mind and attitude.

The whole process was faulty slow and inconvenient. I live right down the block from a uhaul yet I had to pick my truck up from a parking lot with little to no instructions as to where the keys were. The rep I spoke to was very friendly, I could tell she probably had to deal with this all the time. Also the app is extremely slow. 20 mins just to upload a picture...

Except for having to go to two locations for completing all paperwork and move-in {Which is understandable under the current Covid 19 scenario of options} both locations were outstanding and at the storage facility the opportunity to share items with others I feel is an awesome idea. The re-sharing of boxes has been also quite good and will bring our used boxes back for others. I did find that the measurements of the specific unit were only 10 feet wide by only 9 feet deep though which made using the unit awkward as I had two couches that were 9 and 1/2 feet long that would only fit sideways which made it hard to negotiate rather than a straight in movement. Impressed that a bait station for critters was in place.

There was nothing wrong with the storage facility. But my overall U-Haul experience with renting trucks was atrocious. I will never rent another U-Haul truck. In the beginning when I was trying to find a storage unit, U-Haul sent me to three different locations that never worked out… Including one location that was an empty dirt field with a chain-link fence around it. Working with U-Haul was extremely frustrating.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable. The only issue I had was that we went to the address given to move in and when we arrived we found out it was only the storage units. There was no office. There was a sign to do online check in but there was no option to use our free month. So we drive over to the location listed on the sign on the wall. About a mile or two away. The store was bright and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. They explained everything very well and even helped with boxes and supplies. They were also able to change my pickup location for my truck to their location which was more convenient than the one I was assigned. My only complaint is the room we got had nasty walls. I thought they would be metal but they were more of a drywall. It was stained and kinda yucky and there was a rodent trap inside the unit. Which is kudos to the company for keeping the occasional mouse out. It just was a bit off putting. But it's just temporary. If I was storing long term I might have chosen a location that had indoor storage. However storing outdoor items and garage items would be perfect. We even had a lock inside the unit that was included in the price. I wish we had gotten a heads up about the location being separate from the office. That was a bit of an inconvenience. So all in all it was a a very nice experience. Thank you to the guys at the main office for making it easy.

When I dropped off the vehicle at 125 West Hampton Avenue. I went to the online log out and follow the steps to return the vehicle and when I was done with all the steps there is no key box to place the U-Haul truck key in. So I had to call the office number that was on the storage area door in which they had me drive another 2 miles to a nether location to drop off the U-Haul truck due to the corporate office did not know that that address but no longer in the service to drop off U-Haul trucks at.

I got extremely sick that night and tried to call to extend the truck for another day so I could move tomorrow and hopefully I felt better then. They weren't able to extend the truck which is fine I know it's their only truck and they already had it reserved for someone else in the morning. I brought back the truck earlier than expected, completely UNUSED. I never opened the back of the truck. And then the office guy starts trying to charge me for equipment usage. I said that's not possible I never used the truck, I drove it to my apartments where it sat all night and all morning until I had to take it back. The manager comes out and starts calling me a liar and when my boyfriend came in to see what was taking so long, she starts yelling at him from behind a closed door. When he said come out and talk to me face to face not behind a closed door, she literally went ape shit on us. She started screaming at the top of her lungs I'm calling the cops I'm calling the Cops! This was THE WORST experience I've ever had through uhaul and I definitely won't be returning to that location. Obviously nobody did their job right if they're accusing us of using equipment we didn't use. They called back and said they didn't charge me for the equipment usage, so basically they found out why the zip tie was cut on the dolly and they was harassing me for no damn reason

The employees at this location seemed to want to go above and beyond customer expectations. Drop off went smoothly. No slow computer excuses. Makes a difference. Stay away from Cave Creek Rd location if possible. Unless you have an hour to kill waiting on their slow ass computer system.

What is the point in reserving the UHAUL, doing the early check in via online, and adding supplies to the order when EVERYTHING had to be done AGAIN at the location? Stupid.

I was charged $93 for using a 15' truck for less than 5 hours and putting less than 10 miles on it! And I put more gas in the truck than used because I was told I would get a credit! No credit... The pretend to and then charge another charge to your card.

I have used the 125 Hamilton Drive location only one time, I have used UHaul for all of my local and national moves. The location at 202 and Hayden Rd. was a superior experience. This facility was very clean and extremely well managed by Brad Ford. I used storage and equipment rental . Brad was training new employees and exemplified world class customer service in the most stressful situations. Great Prices, great product and superior service. Thank you for being a standard by which we should all apply ourselves.

TRUCK HAD NO A/C in 112 degree weather. I called ahead and asked Allie to NOT divulge my new address in front of soon-to-be ex-husband and she DID. VERY DISSATISFIED AND UPSET. JEAPORDIZED MY SECURITY & PUT ME IN A TRUCK THAT GAVE ME HEAT STROKE.

The truck was clean and seemed to run ok, but when I refueled the truck I ended up putting in 5 gallons. Your records show that I went 12,5 miles that is 2,4 mpg. Either your trucks are in serious need of maintenance, or someone is cheating. I am disappointed.

We dropped our car trailer off at the country club location and Andy was outstanding. Our Uhaul truck was dropped at the Hampton Ave. location and we used the storage there as well. Ally is awesome and we would definitely use this location again and is highly recommended. This is our 2nd time here.
