joelle d | Online Move InI was not able to get into the loading dock with the code provides. I spoke with someone over the intercom but it wasn't much help. After a long day of moving I was getting frustrated. Eventually someone opened another gate and I was able to get my truck in but not the way one should. The voice over the intercom mentioned a card but I never received one or was told hold to go about getting one. I did my whole transaction online.. if I could get a code that works or better yet a key card so the next time I show up I won't have to rely on 'sneaking' it that would be great. I'm in unit 265.
Evan R | Online Move InThe pandemic and and now inflated everything is making every penny count when it all is already accounted for, the good people at U-haul offered a helping hand when I fell behind. I am truly thankful I'm so many ways. The storage facility itself is ideal if you have anything that you truly care for. Climate controlled, keycard and normal key needed to get to your belongings, clean inside and out and indoor loading and unloading make for a comfortable experience year round.

Cape E | Expérience généraleThey did remodeling at the facility. Unfortunately, they did not cover the tops of the units during remodeling. This caused all of our things to be covered in saw dust. We had to spend a great deal of time cleaning all our things. It would have been nice for them to cover the units to prevent this inconvenience.

Our experience was terrible, I will not recommend this facility to anyone. I would request some form of refund since we vacated with 2 weeks left on our contract. There are some kind of liquid that got on are stuff and got mold growth on some of are stuff that we had to get rid of. Unit was not climate controlled. Very humid cause damage to items stored. A Daprid Bucket was filled with water

Anthony C | Premières impressionsIt was a struggle dealing with this location from the beginning. Some of the workers were helpful but overall it was a stressful experience. I do not plan on ever using uhaul for storage again in the future. Contacting the actual location is beyond difficult, why is there a direct number to begin with if all you'll ever get is customer service(who was friendly and helpful) but not the actual location your stuff is at.

I tried several times, however I am not able to get into the building to access my unit #120. I've tried reaching out via a messages on the app as well as tried calling the office (Freemansburg Ave, Palmer Pa) this morning at 11:00. I'm very disappointed no one answered and only to be disconnected due to no answer. I would like to have credit's for the days that I am not able to get access to my unit. I would like someone to reach out and assist me with getting into the building on Freemansburg Ave., Palmer Pa

I would recommend as constructive criticism: giving 24 hour access to all (Why can't I get my stuff when I want?) notifying of the changes and construction being done, better train staff, handle problems in a timely manner, return phone calls. Overall, I am satisfied as long as I can get my belongings.

Unfortunately, after traveling from NY arriving around midnight to storage, the facility hours changed to limited hours without prior notification a few days after our last late night trip. The Staff was Outstanding but notification very disappointing. Had to relocate items to storage with extended hours.

JOSEPH D | Premières impressionsMy boyfriend and I arrived at the building and parked where it said "visitor parking", we then had a lot of trouble finding the entrance and the gate that I had a code for. We found a door that opened, but it led to a bunch of construction, however, we did find my unit after walking around a bunch. We then went back to my car perplexed at how to move stuff in since the entrance we found was very inconvenient, we drove around the building and finally found the correct entrance which was not labeled clearly from off of Freemansburg Ave. from there, we found the loading dock and I tried using my code to get in, but it didn't work. Finally, another person who didn't work there told me I needed to put it in twice. We finally got in, and had to find my unit again from the proper entrance. There was only one cart to move stuff in and overall the process was very confusing. When we first arrived we thought we had landed upon an abandoned building, given we saw nothing inside where it said "office". I wish more clear signs were in place about where to enter the facility and there were more carts and a dolly or something to help move stuff in.

jean b | Premières impressionsI had a good experience with the facility and staff; however, the day before move in, I had to physically go to the office for paper work because the computers were not working correctly. When I called the Toll-free number for U-Haul, they said the problems were going on for over a week. In addition, while I had a reservation for a 10 x 15, we only got an 10 x 10 since they had no 10 x 15's available. We needed the extra space for future projects, but now that can't happen. We were told they had 5 reservations for the 10 x 15 unit. The first one that got there was who got the right size unit. That is not good business practices.

I knew where it was but then I must have had a different address on some correspondence and clicked it for directions and that led to the confusion. The facility itself was very confusing on where to enter. I pulled up to the UHaul sign and the entry door ended up being a good 5 minute walk away by the time I found it. Once inside, the unit number did not have a door number on it. Seems like it was rushed together and a little more thought and quality control could have gone into the building.
