I did not authorize the $40 charge for content coverage and did not know it was on the invoice until looking at it later, complained to U-Haul about it and it was not addressed so be sure you look at your invoice before leaving the office. I do believe it got added on without my approval because it wasn't even mentioned.

I was not greeted upon entering the store, until I spoke to the young lady first. Customer service is not what is used to be (I'm 45, not 80 lol). Once the young lady finished playing on her phone she was polite, but needs additional training on working with the public.

George TI mean we had to mop the back of the truck ourselves, the worker let us use the water hose and mop but if we didn't she was going to charge us $50.... there was some mud in the back from our stuff it had rained... I wasn't aware of a "cleaning fee" so we did it since I had already paid over $600 for the rental and had the insurance and all the extra, maybe don't threaten a $50 charge and take the 10 minutes it took and spray it out?
Amber SThe trailer latch was jammed closed. And Uhaul guy had to get a screwdriver to get it to work. It was hard for us to operate also when we arrived to our location. Trailer was definitely old and well used.

John HThe original reservation had us picking up in Gilf Shores and returning in Front Royal VA. At the time of pickup I requested the return be changed to Strasburg VA where we have picked up before. An updated contract showed that Strasburg was the return site but did not provide an address. When we arrived to where we thought we were supposed to drop it off the app wouldn't acknowledge our return. I had to call and work with a customer service representative. She told me the trailer had to be returned to an open location. We rehooked the trailer and flew to open location to arrive before 5pm closing time. This experience was stressful and totally unnecessary. U-Haul should have conversations both with the staff of the destination. Location and also to customer service rep who sent me out of my way.

DEBBIE MI shared that the crank and strap to hold down the front tires was not working properly and needed to be pulled through, cleaned, oiled. The representative told me she should charge me for it not working properly...not my fault and not my problem. It is normal wear and tear, I did nothing to it and was sharing it for the purpose of information and to ensure it was maintained for the next customer.
