The facility is quite clean .... both inside the unit as well as the outside of the property. We have used other storage facilities in the past and we feel that this is one of the best we have ever done business with. We have already recommended U-Haul at 29008 US Hwy 27 in Leesburg to a neighbor.

George WThe staff at the store are great and the lady, Tammy, who helped me on the phone was excellent, but the app didn't work; so, it took nearly an hour and an half to get the truck. The self pickup process did not go well because the cell service at this location isn't reliable. As result, I had to call U-Haul and Tammy "walked" me through the check in manually, which is a long process. I lost over an hour of time that day.
Cecelia WBe more accommodating and reasonable when a client needs help. Put yourself in their shoes . My husband had to wait in his disabled truck for 6 hours for help from a tow truck. There was absolutely no empathy shown by the manager. She could only find issues with parking and return time when the location had almost no business. She said that there was only one van when there were obviously 2 parked there.

And I don't care for the phone service not answering at the facility when you call the facility but yet you get put on a national number And will be with you whenever we get around to it

There are a few things that stood out to me that were exceptional about this location: The bathroom, although accessible from outside the building was air conditioned, clean, and had quality toilet paper. It had the small touches that make a bathroom welcoming like nice hand soap. We all have to go at times, and being able to use a clean, comfortable bathroom really is one of those that says a lot about an establishment. The staff was friendly and helpful, and really seemed to appreciate the management at the location. These are the kind of places that have the best employees.

Even though U-Haul is a nation wide company, I could not checkout because I was from out of state They insisted on additional in state references although when they called these in state references, they didn't answer their phone (all retired people were sleeping at 8 am). I gave 5 separate references before someone answered and they didn't know why U-Haul was calling This could have been requested when I booked the truck instead of the morning I was picking it up. Very poor customer service

Charles HI have rented from this location before and I used this location again because of the staff. Sydney is amazing to work with. She answered all of our questions and worked with us to get the right equipment needed for this move. Jamie is also outstanding and fantastic to work with and she even remembered me from our last rental which was almost 3 years ago. Both of these ladies are always extremely helpful and also happy to help you. Their customer service is the best!

There were burned out lights in the hallway near my storage unit that made it difficult to see. I needed to bring my own lights. The bulbs were replaced. I did have a water leak and that was beeping addressed. I will use this facility again in the future. The staff was excellent!

There were dead roaches in the hallway & in the unit and I swept the unit out myself as it hadn't been done from the previous move out. I was concerned because of the pest box for vermin (rats & mice in the unit itself) so we chose to end the contract early. There were signs of moisture along the outer wall. I'll wait for the new facility to be built and probably rent as it's closer to our home. The staff was pleasant and courteous.

The manager stated they were sent to proper dept. We phoned, talked to various people. Last call went to number given us by mgr. Customer Service again who could not help and referred us back to mgr. Clerk at mgr.'s office phoned us on Nov.3rd ( we are moving so unit closed per end of October and told us checks must have been lost in mail and it had been taken care of...add the amount back into our acc't. On the 4th we checked our acc't. and magically August and September had been deducted from our account, as of this morning October had not been cashed. This has caused out acc't to be totally out of sync and right in the middle of a big move it is imperative that we keep our acc't correct. Jamie and all have been very nice and helpful...we had that unit for about four years with no problems until August, Sept. and October..never late. How can I rate this? U Haul locally, very good. U Haul accounting practices needs some work. Checks "lost in mail" suddenly being cashed as we are moving and no longer renting the unit has caused us bookkeeping difficulty at a time qgen stress is at a high level. Moving! Since uou insist I answer all questions...I am rating accounting, I am not rating Jamie Foster. She has been exemplary.

The 6 x 12 trailer I used did not have an easy way to disconnect from my SUV, I broke down 2x on my way back and had to use a floor jack to disconnect so my SUV could be towed. Years ago I had a trailer that had a crank handle that you could disconnect and connect easier. Everything else was great.

We had a few interactions because the place I was moving into was a mess, flooded house, and infested with the tiny roaches who sometimes play dead! After moving from that awful place, I rented the storage unit, and inform them about it. They helped me out with a roach killer bomb. Then we moved to a new place again, and everything well well. I'm definitely using them again for my upcoming needs. Thank you so much. Keep up the good work!

They don't answer the phone. Overall horrible customer service. If you rent a storage unit your stuff will have rat or mouse droppings on them. I would recommend Lakeside Storage which is less than one mile north on US HWY 27!!
