I came in 3 days before my "guaranteed rental" to take a look at the truck I would be renting. Two employees we're there, it wasn't busy, and they would not give me the time of day until I yelled for someone to please help me. I felt like I was bothering them. I purchased some wrapping paper while I was there and apologized for "bothering" them when I left. Then as I was driving to pick up the truck they called to tell me they didn't have my truck and i would have to drive to Santa Clara to get a smaller truck than I ordered! I was taking Uber there and had to stop the driver and ask him to divert several miles away to the Santa Clara location. It cost me time, it cost me Uber dollars, and it cost me extra mileage since the Tully location was significantly closer to home. I would never recommend the Tully U-Haul location!

First of all your work cart rolled down into my door on my truck and dented my door and its seems to be taking abit to get this handled also they plugged the trailer lights in to m truck one side didnt work and automatically assumed it was my truck then they replaced the light and then finally saw the wire broke on the harness which if they paid attention in the firs place my truck the would of never had my truck up here in the firs place

I reserved a truck for 8:30am but was called the day before my reservation to be told that my truck wouldn’t be ready until 2:30pm. Lucklily I was able to make due with a smaller truck and a couple borrowed pickups. You need to give more notice!

Trailer was not maintained and unsafe for the road. We blew a tire on the trailer due to the fender being loose and flapping around. Also the repair man from R&B enterprises noticed at least one (maybe more) of the bushings were shot and one of the wheels was missing a dust cap, leaving the wheel bearing and brake assembly exposed to the elements. We were delayed more than 2 hours, which completely threw off our schedule of getting the trailer back in 2 days. When we brought the trailer back to U-Haul, they apologized for the condition of the trailer and took $70 off the THREE day rental price instead of two days. If it weren't for the negligent maintenance of this trailer, we would have brought it back in the 2 days. With the condition of this trailer putting me and my friend's lives in danger, the car we were towing that I have more than $30K invested in, and not to mention the lives of other people on the road around us; I am NOT happy with the rate I was charged. I would like to be refunded for one more day of the rental, if not receive a full refund.

I was quoted $500 bucks via chat to rent a car transport for 5 days. I made plans over the holiday and when I went to reserve the transport they charged me much more. I had already made plans at this point so I had to proceed. Very discouraging for future use.

The employees at both the pick up and drop off locations were great. My experience with the call center / customer service was A DISASTER. They didn’t have the trailer when I needed it and didn’t seem to give a damn. I had reserved it 2 weeks in advance. One rep told me she would check on locating a different trailer and would call me back, but she never called. The same thing happened two hours later when I called them, but it was a different rep. She also said she would call me back and send me an email with the address of the location to pick up the trailer, and she didn’t do either one. The third rep wasn’t any better.

Too much hidden fees, the quote should include all the fees and taxes. One of our box is missing, containers locks are not safe, can easily unscrew and open.

in the past I have had no issues with this location. This time the first truck they put me in had no gas (bone dry empty). I requested a different trunk and was told "they are all like that". I was put in a truck that had 1/4 tank of gas. Luckily I only needed to drive 5 miles round trip. The driver side door was very difficult to close and, unbeknownst to me, wasn't close entirely when I was driving.

There was nothing at this particular location but the user experience of dropping off the truck after hours was not fun. I was using an iphone and it couldn't detect my location. I even changed my settings for safari on my phone to allow location detection and restarted safari but it wouldn't work. Apparently not being able to detect your location was a single point of failure in the application so I just dropped my keys off in the drop box and I said screw this damned tool! Please fix it!

Trailer lights blew out during my road trip. The trailer lights blew out multiple fuses on my truck I had to have fixed. Had to purchase my own magnetic trailer lights and use them for my road trip. Made my trip a lot more difficult. This was the first negative U-Haul Experience I had.

The download of my Ubox turned into a dramatic event as I preplanned more than 48hours to have UBOX available for offload with moving help. Ubox was not available when arrived and staff was rude and unprofessional while handling the miscommunication. Staff was also completely understaffed and was easily bogged down between a few customers.

Although this location was perfect in assisting me, I had some true difficulties securing a rental truck (albeit late). My first and closest location was Curtner for 6PM, I arrived early to try and secure a truck sooner as I was moving myself and this was last minute however their chat system never responded and they sent me to Campbell as a transfer. Campbell location didn’t have a truck for me because they didn’t secure or transfer anything (they, Curtner). Extremely frustrated at this point, they thankfully found one I could have at the Santa Clara location. The team was helpful there, however my “round trip” or whatever grouping it is got removed as I was quoted at 91 miles round trip, not 182 like I had previously inquired for. Frustration throughout but thankfully the team in Santa Clara were helpful and understanding on all accounts

I was given a truck that was really dirty, it had water ,urine and I had requested to rent a dolly which was Not in the vehicle.The gentlemen that help me out Dillon Cambra, refuse to do a walk through. The check in was really bad,the young lady Laura Mendoza Rosel was really rude,and insists that why I didn't call to informed the issues, but she didn't want to listen to my explanation. Even with that said she still charged me for the dolly .I whent back to tell her about the over charged item. She ignored me and gave me more bad attitude. I've been using this services in the past and you can see my account and I have never had this issues happen before.

This specific location was great. My issue is with Uhaul as a whole. I was supposed to have same-day drop off and pick up and it was promised to me by three different people (in baltimore which has a very high crime rate and I live IN THE CITY with NO street parking) yet my Box arrive until 6 PM! After calling 4 times that day. I had to call myself to see when it would even arrive. First person said between 9-1, at 1:40 I called second person said my account said 1-4! so I sat and waited the full day, it didn’t show up by 4 so I called AGAIN. There was nowhere to put the box at 6pm when it arrived as there was rush hour traffic. Then the guy said he would be back in an hour to pick it up because that’s what my contract stated and he never showed and never called me. NEXT DAY I waited all the way until 1pm to call yet again. They said “ Sending someone now“ that was a lie. They didn’t show until 6-7pm again! My box could have easily been hitched up and stolen this entire time. I spoke with customer service AGAIN and they told me someone from the compensation team would contact me in 48 hours to hopefully get money back for all the stress and waste of time and hassle this has been an actual nightmare. Maybe got a missed call like I do several times a day from spam callers etc, but no voicemail! I moved. Call again a week later when I was settled and they told me it had been marked “resolved” after the attempted call!! The hell...!? So I said absolutely not, they said we’ll try again. Nothing. But by now they had my money and no one cared to give any back of course. Honestly burnt out and tired of trying.

Our u box shipment were parked on the street. Confirmed pick up time of pick up but no one came. Saw the boxes still there the next day and had to call. Not recommended, ineffective service providers.

The Santa Clara UHaul location is under-staffed and slow. It's impossible to reach someone on the phone. My scheduled UBox access was delayed for hours. Staff was courteous but can't get things done.
