Upon checking out of my unit I had no guidance. Maybe in the email receipts yall should have a check out list or reminders. I come in and the lady tells me I need a picture of proof. Which is fine.. but was never reminded.. now I have to drive [which yes I personally can. But what if someone else didn't have the means of travel to get back to take that picture bc yall don't do in person inspection]. I come back after taking the picture hand in the key card and my lock key.. well like I said with no guidance the girl behind the counter is like "what's that?".. no you keep that.. thats yours. Well thank you so much for the reminder before when I went over there before that it's mine to keep. These people just have no communication skills. Small reminders can difuse small situations.

I had to pay the back & forth game between Kingston & swoyersville because of your staff... I'm truly disgusted

When I did get to my unit, there was no provided door lock. I ended up calling the phone number and they tried routing me to the local number and I was not put through. I ended up having to drive to the closest U-Haul truck rental office to retrieve a lock.

Kevin K | Online Move InMy experience with this u haul was TERRIBLE! The manager (Stacey Eckstein) was very hostile, aggressive and rude to me any time I needed to contact the store. When I submitted a complaint that I thought would go to someone above her (being that it was about her and the corrections to my balance due that I was promised by her and her employees would be made), she left me an extremely hostile and aggressive voicemail saying everything is correct, nothing is being changed, and her employees shouldn't of told me that, or done this or that anyway! She then called and left a 2nd voicemail a few days later yelling at me about another complaint that I never even did/sent. She also adds on extra charges that shouldn't be there and don't make sense and when I requested SEVERAL times on SEVERAL different occasions for a breakdown of monthly statements, she refused to provide them. I received an exact $ quote of my balance due on 8/14 from a manager higher than her, however the very next day Stacey emailed me with a much higher quote and there was no reason of why there would be extra charges over night. When my kids and I went to get our belongings from the unit, we all noticed that things had been moved in our unit. I also noticed that a significant amount of my different laundry products had been completely USED when they were FULL bottles when I had put them in the unit! Being that I was locked out of the unit for being late with payments due to an injury that I made them aware of prior to renting the unit, I know for a fact that I did not use them! So, uhaul employees were the only ones with access to my unit, they put their own lock on it that I did not have keys to, and they were helping themselves to our belongings and my products. Who knows what else they helped themselves to and used?! Completely unacceptable and unprofessional!!! I would tell everyone to STAY AWAY!!

When I called and spoke with a uhaul representative he also had a difficult time locating the unit on the map. By walking around I ended up finding it.

Then they contacted me and stated they noticed my unit was empty and I moved out. When would I be dropping off the key fob for the bay entry. I informed the person who call me I still had the unit till June 27 so I'd be keeping the fob and they could have it back after my rental agreement ended. So, what does UHAUL do charge customers for a month rental then when they move out ask for the rental back and rent to another person after they've already charge me!! Not fair. I'd never rent here again and I will be sure to inform folks it a rip off.

Leg killing back breaking multiple trips back and forth to empty my storage. Finally broke the lock on the one hand truck. Due to could no longer keep lifting the boxes one by one. Call the office Stacie hung up on me. Called customer service another 4 times after that on hold for extended periods. No supervisor available to speak with me. Said someone should call me back by Wednesday. Today is Sunday It happened Sat morning Kingston location. I'm paid up till the end of the month so I will be asking fora refund for mu6unused time and all the agrivation and pain I have to endure.

There's no hours listed on any of the paperwork that I received for the storage unit. And there is a placard on the building that reads 24-hour access. You would think that when I walked out of the office I would have been all set to enter my storage space whenever I needed. Instead I was standing there like an idiot with two friends just after midnight wasting everybody's time wondering why my card doesn't work. And then when you call for assistance with the push button it gives you options one two and three and it does not recognize when you punch any of those numbers so after it asks you twice what your option is and it doesn't recognize your input it hangs up on you. I am forfeiting work hours today to go do what I was supposed to have done last night . Bottom line, not good .

Carolyn W | Online Move InI would like to explain the reasons for my ratings.. lot of my stuff even though it was in a climate-controlled facility,had mold on it (my clothes & blankets) the floor was rotted and smells like mold,the front of the entrance as soon as you walk in is extremely dirty with leaves, dirt & debris all over the floor.and I couldn't get into the climate control building iafter 9 p.m. most of the staff were rude and acted like they didn't have the time for anything or anyone. except for one very nice girl I think her name is Stacey.She was very kind and patient she greeted everyone very friendly and took time to answer any questions you would have had. he would be the only reason I wouldrecommend that facility to anybody, I have left in the middle of the month and didn't even get the balance of my bill back which I don't feel is right bill with paid in full and the money that was left over I should have gotten that I cleaned out my unit it was swept and the door was shut. I should have received the balance in a refund.

I do appreciate that there is also a mattress dolly available that came in handy.
