Used the mobile app to reserve and pickup rental. Worked well and the employees were very helpful alsi! App made everything nice and easy. Would definitely reserve with Uhaul again for any moving needs in the future!
Julia PYou need to rent trucks that are in good working order. The truck we rented leaked into the cab from 10 hours of rain. It's not fun having a wet shoulder for 10 hours. Plus the truck had starter or alternator issues. Then when I turned in the truck, I was told I was 20 000 miles over my contract which is physically impossible. Filed dispute, waiting for resolution.
rob bThe truck I was provided was not the one on the contract. It has some difficulty with traction as well as being very hard on gas. It seemed as if the transition was slipping. Had no pull. We had a tremendous amount of ran and it was as if I was driving on ice. No traction on the tires. But other than that it was fine.

I have never had a bad experience in several years of service. I go to this dealer even though there is another closer to me. With access hours on a Sunday only until 5pm and most Community events lasting past 5pm, I was prevented access to the storage unit. This is something for uhaul to consider in the future. It is extremely inconvenient. Staff was very polite and helpful otherwise.

Rich DPick up and drop off was very quick and easy. The staff were friendly. The van I rented only had 3 000 miles on it so I'm not sure how the rest of the equipment is.
Mike MThe truck was dirty, the check engine light was on. And the truck turned off on me twice while driving at night before I dropped it off. This happened in the middle of the road very late. I had to turn it on and off for it to get me to the location. The second time it happened I was stopped at a light. It just shut off. Terrible experience.

I think that is unprofessional and rude. I had my id so they knew it was me. I've had storages before and they cut my lock off. The price was great but I will never rent there again at that location!

Adrian W | Premières impressionsFacility is wide open, no gate or anything to keep anyone who isn't renting a unit out of the rented unit area. It's also not well lit, so we only went to our unit during daylight. No office staff on property any time we visited or called. When we had to do anything in person, we had to drive to the office in Hazleton. We originally had two units (c-27 and c-29), and once we consolidated down to one unit and emptied c-29, office rented out our full unit (c-27) to someone else, even though we had notified office via email that we were done renting c-29 only. We have just emptied our remaining unit yesterday, and at least three items that we have found so far have mold on them, including an antique wooden dining room table. There is apparently mold growing on one of the walls of the unit. Facility is not well plowed when it snows. Oftentimes there would be trash/debris left outside near our unit and it would still be there weeks later. At one point, the unit directly next to ours looked like it had been broken into - no lock and the sliding handle where the lock attaches was sitting on the ground in front of the unit (I called the Hazleton office to notify them of the damage on the unit next to ours). Tried to call the facility's office three times yesterday and was unable to leave a message. Each time I called, uhaul customer service center picked up and twice they dropped my call when they attempted to transfer me. This is the fourth storage unit facility that I've rented from (one in CT and two in NV previously), and this one has definitely been the worst experience I've had. Every other storage unit had gated entry via pass code and a regularly staffed office.

I informed the office and the 800 uhaul number when I was moving in advance. The date was a week before my month was over. The agent I spoke to on the 800 number said she would follow up with an email stating I was moving out to the general manager of the facility. I still got charged for the following month. Called the office many times but or course no answer ! Called the 800 number and they promised me I would have my money back in my account before 72 hours. Well guess what, still no refund! Now I have to waste more time calling my bank to dispute the charge even with all the emails and phone calls that were sent. Totally unacceptable! They have no problem charging you late fees but what about holding onto money that doesn't belong to them? Think twice before you store here.

( : However, on Sept 26, 2020, moving out of my storage unit, was far from well. I had secured a reservation, with Hazleton U-Haul, days prior to that scheduled move out date. Also, I had indicated that my account not be charged for October's rent, being I would be moved out prior to Oct 2 ( when I would be billed monthly ). Upon arrival that morning, to pick up my moving van, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled, therefore leaving me with no rental available. I also was given no valid explanation as to why my reservation had been cancelled/removed. Thankfully, this was resolved, despite no offered help from Hazleton staffing, as I was fortunate enough to have secured a moving van through your U-Haul Rental at Forest Hill Inn, for that same day. Your employee was a true gentlemen & went above to aid my situation. Instinct made me re-call Hazleton U-Haul that Monday, to verify that I was taken out your billing system for the month of October. Thankfully, I had called because I had not been dismissed with that scheduled " move out date. " Over the phone, I was then able to proceed with dismissing myself, before the next months rent processed, yet it was the simplicity of the matter, that had I not called, a rent fee would have reflected upon my account. Rude and unhelpful staff at hazleton. They didn't care we had a 15 ft uhaul truck full and no where to put it. I would never recommend hazleton uhaul to anyone. I have to move twice now because of this and will be using penske even though it costs more. I will say good things about uhaul customer service as they were kind and helpful as well as the general manager who called me.

Staff told me that they dont work with the suquhanna Blvd. So I waste a day waiting for nothing which monday I went to the storage place and they have a sign saying to contact the u-haul in broad street. I went to the broad street one and the manager did my reservation. At the end I ended up paying 2 days for my uhual truck when I could have just used 1 day instead.
